When someone wins the Golden Pokeball Award, this is a permanent award. It cannot be revoked, but you can blatantly plug it in a TV commercial. The winning artists and artwork will be listed here and in a separate section (since this part will go away from time to time). Should you win, be humbled that your peers think so highly of you.

There are a couple of ground rules, but it's nothing too serious:

• Only artists (not authors) of The Pokemon Tower may participate in this contest. This is pretty straightforward. But those who have crossed over from the Library to the Museum and vice versa are also eligible to enter. Put simply, if you see your name under any of the Museum categories in the right column; you're eligible. And yes, if you are not yet an artist, your first submission can be your contest entry.



• Stick with the topic provided. This is part of the challenge. While you may be good at drawing animals or people, it wouldn't be a challenge if it was catered to your tastes.



• Only formats accepted are: .bmp, .gif, and .jpg This is pretty straightforward too. If it's not in one of these formats, the submission will not be accepted.



• Try to keep the pixel size under 800 x 600. Not everyone has very large monitor resolutions, so you'll want to keep it manageable.



• If you have posted artwork that relates or fits into the current contest's guidelines, that is acceptable. Remember, you can only submit one entry. Use the Contact Me page and clearly state which picture you want to use -- i.e. Picture #3 in Row 4 or Picture #16.



• Only one piece of artwork per entrant. So if the above rule applies to you, make sure you like the drawing. Now, if you want to switch pictures for a different one or a modified one, that's fine. Just resubmit your entry, but let me know in the Caption field that you're updating your entry.



• Gold, silver and bronze trophies will be given through a popular vote.



• No nude/hentai artwork will be allowed under any circumstances!! You better be *old enough* to be drawing that sort of thing in the first place...^.~



• It must be your original work. If it is determined that you copied and/or stole someone else's artwork, you will be forever banned from The Pokemon Tower on both the Library and Museum sides. Wallpapers are not allowed. It must be hand or computer-drawn work.



• Tracing of the TV show's/manga's/other's artwork is highly discouraged. Your submission should be by your own hand (or mouse) and not a mimic of someone else's work. If you submit something of this nature, there's a very good chance it will get rejected.

I hope the rules are clear. If not, just contact me and I'll clarify any questions you have. I may have to adjust these rules, pending new information, but that's highly doubtful. So get out there and check out the entries! Vote on the ones you like!!
