Still The one

An unexpected visitor

“I told you not to come tonight” she laughed, pushing him on the shoulder.  “I need to help my sisters clean the aquarium and I’ve been taking too many rain checks.”

‘I wanted to see you” Zieck replied entering her room and leaning in for a kiss. Misty avoided his lips, playfully skipping out of his reach.

“Can I like trust you guys enough to leave you alone?” Daisy asked, grinning widely. She had let Zieck in and was still standing in the doorway of Misty’s room, looking at the cute couple.

“I’m a grown woman, Daisy. It’s my decision if I want to do it or not” Misty replied, pushing her sister out of the doorway in order to close the door.

Zieck laughed at this comment and added, “You know I won’t do much to her”

Misty closed the door and then turned around to look at the handsome young man. “Hey you” she mouthed. He walked over to her with a lopsided grin and took a hold of her hips. Playfully he brushed his nose up against her cheek, making her giggle softly. “I just had to see you tonight” he muttered pecking her on the lips.

“You saw me this morning and every other day for the last month” she laughed, returning his peck with a kiss on the nose. “What? You tired of me?” he queried, cocking his head sideways. He wore a lighthearted look on his face with a slight hint of fright that she might answer with a “yes”.

“Of course not” she laughed, pulling on the sleeve of his dark blue shirt, that contrasted beautifully with the golden streaks in his dark brown curls.

He sighed softly and rested his forehead on hers, his nose lightly touching hers. “Go on” she giggled, edging Zieck on to kiss her.

They locked lips feverishly. Zieck was running his hands up and down her back and Misty on her turn was running her hands threw his hair. “Well that’s something that never gets old.” Misty whispered when they tore away. Zieck chuckled and looked at her with dreamy puppy dog eyes.

“Oh god, my heart” he muttered quietly, resting his forehead yet again against hers.

Misty giggled and they locked lips again. He softly nibbled on her lip and then started to slowly push her towards her bed. He wasn’t a guy who liked to pressure a girl.  Then again not liking urges and resisting urges are two very different matters. He pushed her softly on the bed and laid on top of her his arms on either side of her body. Gently he moved his lips from hers and started pecking her on the neck. Loosening her long hair from the tight bun it was in she sighed and giggled softly.

“Misty?” he muttered between kisses.

“Yeah?” she responded with her eyes closed, savoring every kiss he gave her.

“Tell me that you love me”

“I don’t love you” she muttered smiling.

He stopped kissing her and peered at her between his golden brown curls. “Liar” he muttered, grinning softly and once again he said, “Tell me you love me”

She opened her eyes and stared at the attractive young man with her aqua- green eyes and muttered, “I love you”.

He brought his face inches away from hers, his lips gently brushing her cheek and said, “Of course you do”

Sniggering loudly, she pushed him off of her. “Getting a little cocky, aren’t we?”

“I have good reason to be cocky. I got the girl I’ve liked since forever, the most sensational of the sensational cerulean sisters, to tell me she loves me” he said, resting his head in the nook of her neck.

She sniggered at this comment and kissed him on top of his head. They both looked up as they heard little light drops of rain fall on the window.

“Look Misty. The sky is jealous” said Zieck, pecking her on the chin.

“Guess so” she muttered smiling quietly.

There was a tiny knock on the door.

“Come in” Misty said with a sing- song voice.

The door was opened and Lilly appeared in the doorway looking exhausted and sweaty, but she was still wearing a big grin on her face.

“Like what were you guys doing?”

Misty looked up at her sister as did Zieck.

“Nothing” they replied in unison.

Zieck’s face turned bright red and he looked down at the bedspread as if it was the most interesting thing he had ever seen.

“Well in that case. Misty, can you like help me with psyduck. He won’t like stand still when I’m taking his temperature” Lilly said, leaning against the doorframe.

Misty sat up and looked at her sister with an annoyed face.

“Do I have to?”

“Well you like promised to help clean the aquarium and give the pokemon their shots.”

Misty sighed. “Okay, okay. I’m coming”

“Zieck can like help too” said Lilly throwing Zieck a grin.

He nodded, stood up and was still a little red in the face when he walked pass the grinning Lilly.

“Oh my god, he’s like so cute” Lilly sniggered when Zieck had walked out of sight.

“Well don’t get any ideas” Misty muttered, straightening her navy blue tank top and walking pass Lilly.

The two sisters made their way down the stairs and into the pool area where a screaming psyduck was jumping successfully out of the reach of Violet and Daisy. And now Zieck had joined the party as well, running after the yellow pokemon.

Sniggering loudly, she made her way around the pool and caught the pokemon in her

 arms.

“There, there psyduck. It’s going to be alright.”

Psyduck looked up at Misty with its large eyes and quieted down a bit, as she petted it on its head.

“Don’t worry. We’ll just take your temperature. We just want to make sure you’re not sick”

Zieck smiled softly at the experienced water pokemon trainer as he and Misty’s sisters made their way slowly towards the trainer and her psyduck.

The doorbell went off. “Who can it be at this hour?” asked Misty.

“Probably a trainer. Misty could you like go see who’s at the door. We’ll take it from here” said Daisy, taking a hold of psyduck.

Letting psyduck go, Misty stood up and walked towards the door that led to the living room. She was barely out of the room when psyduck started wailing and struggling again.

“Oh for god sake psyduck, just be quiet.” she threw over her shoulder.

The doorbell rang again. “I’m coming” she yelled, walking to the door and turning the doorknob and opening the door.  “I’m sorry, but I don’t battle after…”  She stopped in her tracks and was flabbergasted for there in the doorway stood a wet and grinning Brock.

“Brock” she muttered, a smile appearing on her beautiful face. “Oh my god what are you doing here?”

“We were hoping to get some shelter from the rain” he replied, grinning hopefully.

“Of course you can” she replied, eying her older friend who had not changed a bit. “Wait who’s we?”

Her eyes wandered pass Brock and rested upon the lonesome figure standing a couple of feet behind them. She gave a tiny gasp. She would not have recognized the tall, athletic built guy standing in the rain, if it wasn’t for the sleeping pikachu, purring softly in his arms. He had an extraordinary handsome, tanned face, chocolate brown eyes and messy jet black hair. His hair was sticking up in every direction, despite it being soaked, his baggy jeans were covered in mud and his black shirt was sticking to his body.

“Is that…” she started.

“Ash? Yes” Brock finished, looking between the old friends, who were now staring at each other.

Ash muttered a “tss” and turned his head away.

Misty looked at the handsome trainer, as tears formed in her eyes

“You and Pikachu can come in, but he’s staying outside”
