Chapter 1:Trapped
“This is not possible.”shouted an astronomer in awe as he peered through 
the telescope at what appeared to be a meteor heading towards them.
“Calm down.”said his partner
“Calm down?Calm down!?How can I calm down when a meteor is going to crush 
us into nothing in a matter of days,take a look for yourself.”shouted the 
astronomer in a fit of rage.
His partner to a look and gasped but then he calmed down and replied that 
the gravitational pull of the other planets should slow it down enough so 
that it hits them at the end of the year.
“Your right,”said the astronomer as he took another look through the 
telescope”but it still doesn’t change the fact that we are all going to go extinct.”

Meanwhile in deep space,the meteor  glowed a faint purple as it hurdled through the 
cosmos,destroying every star it came near.A faint shadow of a creature could be seen inside of the 
meteor as another star completely blackened and exploded and at the same time the purple glow 
grew stronger.

A glass of water shook as a light tremor hit the town of Silverlake.
“Mom,another earthquake is coming.”shouted a boy about the age of twelve.
“You better run off to school then,Ricky.”shouted his mother  from  the  kitchen.
Ricky grabbed a piece of toast,quickly drank the glass of water and walked out the door.He walked 
down the pathway beside Lake Serenity,marvelling at its beauty,he strolled down to his school and 
walked through the hallways and into his classroom just as the bell rang.
“Sit down,Ricky.”said the teacher as the students were looking at the day’s schedule.
Ricky sat down as the teacher announced that their projects were due in tomorrow and gave each 
student a different topic to write an essay about.The rest of the day went smoothly and Ricky’s 
homework was to find out the history of Silverlake town.
Back at home Ricky was reading “Up to date Silverlake History”as he turned the page he read
Silverlake town has been a quaint town until an amount of earthquakes have occurred for the past 
two years which has lead to all the pokemon leaving the town and its surroundings,the pokemon 
center being shut down and the gymleader shutting down the gym.
“Thats enough reading for one day.”said his mother as she shut his book”now go outside and get 
some fresh air.”
Ricky put on a hat and went outside towards the abandoned gym,rumours were spreading saying 
that the gym was haunted but Ricky was going to prove them wrong.He pushed the door and it 
creaked open,Ricky poked his head inside the eerie room and was about to leave when he heard 
something from inside the gym,he decided to investigate and went in.
“Hello?”he said as his voice echoed throughout the room.A brown feather flew onto the ground 
and Ricky bent down to pick it up when he heard a shrill cry,he felt frightened and banged on the 
door as a silhouette of a bird was coming closer and closer and fell on the ground revealing that it is 
a Farfetch’d.Ricky stopped banging on the door and turned around to see the little bird on the 
ground and saw that it’s leek was half eaten,he picked up the pokemon and softly touched its 
feathers only to see that they were falling off.
“Must be molting season.”he said as he heard a rumbling sound from outside”What was that!?”
As soon as he said that more rumbling came from inside the gym.Ricky ran into the battle room 
with Farfetch’d in his arms.A shadow appeared from nowhere and it shot a large shadow ball	at 
Ricky.
“Ahhhhhhh!”screamed Ricky as he ran back into the entrance hall.
The shadow followed and created ccopies of itself to surround them.
“Oh no”murmured Ricky as the shadows charged up shadow balls.
