Ash and Misty would already be together.

Misty's POV
*Ash...no...*  "Well miss, Ash seems to be suffering from temporary deafness 
because of the injury he recieved.  He's awake now, and quite comfortable."  
"Does he...know?"  Misty asked  "Oh yes.  We've informed him.  Though, what's 
strange is he doesn't seem to upset about it."  *Well...yeah he doesn't wanna 
listen to my crap!*  "And Pikachu"  "His Pikachu is awake and understands the 
situation."  "Well, can I see him?"  "Yes, you may."

Normal POV
Upon entering the room, Misty looked at Ash and almost started crying. *I can't 
believe I did thid to him!* she thought.  Misty walked over to Ash and tapped 
him on the shoulder.  He jerked in suprised, but quickly calmed down at the 
sight of Misty's aqua colored eyes, and soft face.  "Hi." he managed to get out.  
She just smiled weakly and waved.  "Look, Ash, I know you can't hear me, but, 
I'm sorry.  I'm so, so sorry.  I never meant any of what I said and it's my 
fault you're hurt.  And Ash, I really hate myself for saying it....because...I 
l-lo-love y-you."  "Misty...I think I sorta heard that last part."  You....you 
what?"  "I SAID I CAN HEAR AGAIN!  YAHOO!" "ALRIGHT!"  "Now, Misty...what was it 
you said?" "Ash, I l-love Y-you..."  At this Ash went pale.  Misty braced 
herself for the worst.  "Misty?"  "Yes Ash?"  "I-I-I l-love y-y-you t-too..."  
Misty's eyes went wide at this and she leapt on top of Ash and hugged him.  
*Cool* thought Ash.  Ash returned the hug.  And they just sat there in each 
other's embrace for what seemed eternity.  Pikachu sat there smiling.  Then 
Misty looked up and kissed Ash on the lips, which sent a shiver up and down his 
spine and caused butterflies in his stomach.  "Woah...that...was...Awesome!!!"  
Ash exclaimed.  "You like that huh?" asked Misty.  "You bet!"  "Wanna do it 
again?"  Ash just nodded his head.  Misty came in close, and they engaged in a 
deep, passionate kiss.  Only pulling away when they needed to breath.  Ash's 
heart monitor was beeping, very, very fast. Misty laughed hysterically.  "What?" 
Ash asked, puzzled.  "Your....Heart...is going...crazy!"  Misty said between 
laughs.  After she calmed down, she added; "I take it you REALLY liked it that 
time."  Ash just looked at her and said "Duh."  Just then a doctor came bursting 
in scaring the crap out of the 2 teens.  "We just got a signal Ash's heart rate 
was extremely high."  "I'm fine doc."  "He can hear?!"  Ash and Misty just 
nodded their heads.  "In that case I'll leave you two alone." "Doc?" Misty 
called.  "Yes miss?"  "If it happens again," Misty said with a wink at Ash, 
"Just leave us be, I let'cha know if something's wrong."  "OK miss."  "Now Ash, 
shall we?"  "Sure thing!  But first, are we a couple now?"  "Of course silly."  
"Well then, on with the show!"  So once again they got into a deep kiss.  Then, 
another interruption, Brock came in with the food.  "How's Ash Mis...HOLY MOTHER 
OF PEARL!!!"  "Crap." Misty said. "Busted." Ash remarked. (Author's note, Misty 
was still on top of Ash.)  "You...and YOU?!"  The couple just nodded with broad 
smiles on their faces.  "It's about time!  Now, who shall I call to tell first?"  
"Brock you tell anyone and you can kiss my mallet!" Misty yelled.  "OK! Sheesh.  
I'll leave you two alone now.  Oh, and here's your food."  Ash and Misty quickly 
dug into the burger's and fries. (Author's note again: Misty, not having eaten 
in the 4 days Ash had been there, out cold, and Ash having been, well, out 
cold.)  The two looke at each other, and smiled, knowing that from then on, they 
would be by each other's sides.
