Announcer: Pikachu is unable to continue.  Harrosha is the winner.

The crowd went nuts as they flooded the battle floor and circled around the winner.  
Ash just nodded in congradulations, pulled his hat down, and walked away as he 
called his buddy back into a pokeball.  He couldn't believe that he keeps on 
losing like this.  He knows why, he just doesn't like to think about it.  He quietly 
walked back to the pokemon center to gather his things.  The press will soon be 
storming this place in search of him.  He knows what they're going to ask.  
"Why do you keep losing?  You were once the great Pokemon Master."
"Are you losing because of your recent "special someone" being engaged to your 
once childhood rival?"  He hates it when they bring that up.  He hates the fact that 
everything Ash has, he has to have it, and it has to be better than his.  Ash had a 
new bike, Gary had to get a 4-wheeler.  Ash got his favorite pokemon evolved to 
the next level, Gary had to get his strongest pokemon evolved.  Ash had a girlfriend,
 and Gary had to take her away and ask her to marry him.  He and Misty once 
confessed their love for each other and he thought that everything was going good.
  He had even bought her an engagement ring.  Gary found out about he, and he 
"suddenly realized" how much he loved her.  So he had to take her away from him.
  He really hated Gary for his competitiveness.  Ash was gathering his things when 
he found the box that had her engagement ring.  He took it out and ran his fingers 
over it.  Tears of sadness flowed down his dirt-covered cheeks as memories of 
him and Misty came flooding into his head.  He took his pokemon to Nurse Joy 
and asked her to heal them and send them to Professor Oak.  He ran out of there
 with his backpack jiggling behind him.  He stopped behind a building and watched 
a wave of reporters, camera and sound people come pouring into the center.  He 
knew Nurse Joy wouldn't tell them where they were.  He took out his Mr. Mime and 
asked him to teleport him to his house.  He stood there as he felt the usual drag and 
the purple flash as he saw the surroundings of a normal downtown to the inside of 
his livingroom.  His mom was in the kitchen when she heard a pop and saw that her 
son had returned home.  She opened her mouth to ask how his battle went, but knew 
that it didn't go as he planned when he started slowly walking up the stairs and into 
his room.  She felt so bad for her son.  She knew who to call.  She picked up the 
phone and dialed a number, and stood there as she heard 3 rings and someone 
picking up on the other line.


***POV change from Ash to Deliah***

Voice: Hello?
Deliah: Yes, hi, Misty wouldn't happen to be there, would she?
Misty: *giggle* it's me, Mrs. Ketchum.
Deliah: Oh, Misty, you sound so different since the last time we talked.  How are 
things?
Misty:  Good, Gary and I........
Deliah: Yes, I know that you two are engaged.  That's why I called.
Misty: Oh.  Uhm, how's Ash?
Deliah: Why don't you ask?
Misty: I don't think that would be best.
Deliah: Misty, normally I wouldn't mind who you date, or that kind of stuff.  But, I don't 
think Gary's really into you like Ash is.
Misty: You mean was.
Deliah: No, Misty, Ash still cares for you.  I don't know what Gary has told you, but.....
Misty: Why does everybody assume Gary told me something?
Deliah: Did he?
Misty: *no answer*
Deliah: Misty, answer my question.
Misty: *sigh* Yes he did.
Deliah: What did he tell you?
Misty: He told me that Ash had cheated on me with another girl.  He even showed me 
a picture of them.
Deliah: Show me the picture.
Misty: Ok, hold on.

Deliah watches Misty walk behind her to a coffee table, open a drawer, take out what 
looks like a photo, and walks back to the videophone and hold up the photo.

Deliah: That photo looks like it's been tampered with.
Misty: How?
Deliah:  Look at the outline of the girl.
Misty: What about it?
Deliah: Ash's hand doesn't touch her.  She's been plastered onto the photo and it was 
copied and printed onto photo paper.  Plus, that's one of Gary's ex-girlfriends.
Misty: Now that you mention it, it does look a little suspicious.
Deliah: Come over to my house.  I'll send Ash out to do some errands if you want.
Misty: Ok.  I just want us to be alone for a while before we bring him into it.
Deliah: Ok.


***POV change from Deliah to Misty***

Misty hung up the phone, took off her engagement ring and sat it on the table.  She 
went up stairs and quietly gathered her clothes.  She brought out all of the 
pokemon she could think of that had teleport.  She gathered the stuff that wouldn't 
fit into her backpack and had them all teleport it to Deliah's guest room.  Misty made 
sure that Gary wasn't home and got all of them in their pokeballs, except for one.  
She had her Jynx teleport her to Deliah's living room.  Misty was almost instantly 
in her living room and saw Ash open his bedroom door and she quickly ducked into 
a broom closet.  She could hear Ash walk down the steps and stop in front of the 
door that she was behind.  She heard him ask his mom why there was suddenly so 
many stuff in the guest room.  She knew she was busted.  He opened up the door 
and just started at her.  She couldn't believe that he was right there in front of her.  

Ash: What're you doing here?
Misty: Ash, I'm so.........
Ash: Don't apologize, it's useless with me.
Misty: Ash, will you just listen?
Ash: No.  What's the point, you wouldn't listen to me.
Misty: Ash, just shut your pie hole for a minute.  Gosh, you're so stubborn!
Ash: (0) (0)
Misty: I was trying to tell you that I was sorry for not listening to you back then.  I 
got a call from your mom and I showed her the picture that he showed me, and 
she made the point that the photo was tampered with.  I teleported my stuff into 
your guest room, and I teleported here.
Ash: Are you done?
Misty: Yes.
Ash: Good.

Ash slammed the door on Misty.  She could hear him drop something in front 
of the door and walk out of the house.  She opened the door and looked down 
to see what he put on the floor.  She picked up the little box, opened it, and saw 
that it was an engagement ring.  She picked up the little note that was inside.  
She opened the note and read it.

Misty, by now, you will have wondered where I ran off to.  If you accept my 
proposal, go to the place where we first met each other.  You might find a 
little surprise.

Misty was so excited.  she thought that Ash was mad at her still.  She walked 
into the kitchen, put the box on the table, and walked out of the house.  As 
she was walking to that pond where she fished him out at, she slipped on his 
ring and continued walking, wondering what surprise he had planned for her.
  She continued to have different ideas of what those surprises might be, but 
nothing would be better than to just be with him.


***POV change from Misty to Ash***

Ash placed the last decoration and gave the signal that Misty was coming.  He 
knew that she would say yes.  Everybody else ran hiding for cover.  He was so 
happy that things were finally working out the way he wanted them to.  He 
thought to himself that there was no way Gary could have any way of interfering.  
He warned the cops to keep him far away from here.  He watched her as she 
came running up the hill, crying.  He couldn't figure out why she was crying until 
he saw what she was running from.  Gary was chasing after her.  Misty came 
flying into Ash's arms, and they held onto each other as tighly as they saw Gary 
run up to them and reach out for Misty.  Ash tossed Misty to somebody else, and 
give Gary the beating of his life.  Everybody else grabbed a piece of Gary and 
tossed him in the pond.  Misty walked up to Ash and stood next to him as he 
put his arm around her waist.  They both walked up to Gary as he stood up in
 the pond, soaking wet.

Ash: See Gary, this is what you get for being so competitive.
Misty: You can't always have everything better.
Gary: But, he cheated on you all those years ago.  You're going to believe his 
lies over me, your fiance?
Misty: Ash is my fiance.  You're nothing to me now.  Nothing but a low-lying 
piece of scum.

Gary was mad that for once, he didn't get what he wanted.  He got out of the  
pond and stormed off.  Everybody cheered as they watched Ash and Misty 
stare at each other and give the most passionate kiss they ever gave to 
anybody.  1 month later, Gary was put in jail for harassment and was 
ordered to stay away from the Ketchums and their residence.  9 months after 
that, Mrs. Ketchum (and i'm not talking about Deliah either....lol) gave birth to a 
set of twins.  One was a boy named Michael Ashton, and the other was named 
Mistera Deliah.  They both were saddened by Ash's mother's departure a few 
weeks prior to the twins's birth that they gave Mistera Deliah as her middle name, 
in honor of her memory.
