The Grand Tinkho Adventures of Ash Ketchum

A/N: I am not sure if I am going to push AAML in this series. I want it to be just like the series, so there may be little hints of my obsession with AAML, but no extremes, like confessions. That’s for another time and another place. However, believe me, you can tell that there is a possibility that they are both crushing on each other.

Episode 1: A New Beginning

It was the take of this new, salty breeze in his mouth and the feel of the dry air against his face that told Ash Ketchum he was ready to head into this new land. It a new beginning, a new adventure for him, and after 3 years of training, he knew he was ready. The region of Tinkho was laid out in front of him like a puzzle, and the Tinkho League Championship Trophy was the finish line.

He had a pair of jeans and a black t-shirt on. His red and white cap sat on his head as usual. His brown eyes stared at the new region with determination from the cliff next to the sea that connected Hoenn and Tinkho. He pushed his messy black hair out of his eyes and looked over at his companions. Brock Slate, as strong as ever, stood tall and proud in a pair of brown shorts and a green t-shirt. To his left, his longtime companion, Misty Waterflower smiled at him in a short yellow tank top with red suspenders and jeans shorts. Her short red hair was pulled up in a side ponytail. Her crystal blue eyes sparkled in the sunlight.

Pikachu, Ash’s faithful little Pokemon, pointed to the rocky stairway down to the first town of their adventure. “Pika pi!” it said, joyously.

It took the friends 15 minutes to go down, and when they finally did, Ash noticed Misty’s eyes sparkle with delight.

“Misty, what’s up?” He asked his very happy friend.

“Oh, Ash, Brock, look at this view!” She said, in a somewhat dreamy way. Ash agreed with her, it was beautiful. The town was quaint, all of the houses were small in size, but were wooden and had green roofs. Next to the grassy village was a little beach, and a crystal blue ocean that went on and on.

“Well, we better hurry up; I’m starved.” Brock said, trying to hurry his friends along.

Ash and co ran down from the last few steps and into town.

“So this is Firefly Town… Its so pretty.” Misty said in awe as they walked down the streets of the small village. It was lovely. Every house window had a basket of flowers on it. Children were all playing outside with their parent’s Pokemon. Everyone seemed happy and pleasant in this town. Suddenly, they heard a large crash and a yell.

“What was that?” Ash said, somewhat startled.

“I don’t know, Ash. We should go find out.” Brock said, as they started to run toward the sounds of unpleasantness.

When they finally reached the scene of the crime, there were three police motorcycles parked around the building. Officer Jenny was interrogating all of the witnesses, and an attractive boy about 14 with long red hair tied in the back was talking to a man about what had happened.

“Isn’t this the-“ Misty started.

“Yes, it’s the Pokemon Lab of Tinkho.” Brock finished for her. “It looks like there was a break in. I’m not sure though.”

Suddenly, Ash was tapped on the back. He turned around to see a girl his age with light blue hair in pigtails and soft green eyes. She was rather pretty, too.

“Excuse me, but do you know anything about the break in to Professor Eve’s lab?” The girl asked quietly.

“No, I’m sorry, we just got here…” Ash said, blushing deeply. Misty felt her hand turn into a fist.

“That’s ok, I figured that. Oh, here’s Officer Jenny, maybe she’ll fill us in.”

“Hello, kids. Did any of you kids see a white haired kid around your age in all black clothing go by?”

“No, we didn’t.” Misty said, still shaking from envy.

“Could you tell us what happened?” The blue haired girl asked.

“Of course, Marina. So, about fifteen minutes ago, Professor Eve was working in her Eevee project field, when a kid dressed in all black ran into the lab and stole her precious Umbreon. We need to find out where he is now, or Prof. Eve may just break down. I’ve never seen her so upset. Her son is there now, but if you four want to help us, one of you can go and comfort her, while the other three go try and find the thief. Thanks so much!” Jenny said, with a smile.

“I could never leave a true beauty…” Brock said, kneeling and grabbing the policewoman’s hand. She blushed and slapped him on the face.

“Sorry, but I’m happily married.”

Brock slumped off to go visit with the mopping professor, while the three teens decided to look for Umbreon.

“I don’t think I got your names.” Marina asked, politely.

“I’m Ash, and this is my best friend, Misty.” He said, still blushing furiously.

“Nice to meet you.” Marina said. Misty faked a smile and walked along with the others. Ash looked over at his red headed friend and saw her mumbling at the ground while she kicked a stone with her feet. He rolled his eyes.

Suddenly, a boy with a purple cloak and platinum blond hair walked over to Misty. “What time is it?” He asked her sweetly. She blushed and looked at her watch.

“Its, um, 4:32.” She said, shyly. The boy put his hood down, showing his bright white hair and soft purple eyes. Misty blushed again, and it was Ash’s turn to scowl at his friend.

“Pika-Pika CHU!” Pikachu said to Ash, with its eyes narrowed at the boy.

“What Pikachu? Hang on, we’re looking for that kid?” he whispered to his yellow friend.

“Pika!” Pikachu said in approval.

Ash stared at the newcomer and his best friend. He was obviously charming her. Just like Rudy. He remember that showoff who tried to flirt with Misty, like it was yesterday. Marina looked at him with a bit of envy in her expression. Ash started to walk with Marina as Misty and her new “friend” got on quite well behind him. Suddenly, when he was walking about 15 feet away from the two teens, he heard a scream.

The boy had a Pokemon that Ash had never seen before, out and holding Misty in some Psychic cage.

“BRENDAN! I thought we were friends!” Misty said to the boy, named Brendan.

“Ha! I don’t think so, Misty!” He laughed at her. “This Togepi will be a great addition to my Pokemon Collection.”

“TOGEPI!!!” Misty cried as she fell hopelessly to the bottom of the floating cage that the Pokemon was holding up.

“Great job, my new Umbreon.” Brendan said with a smirk. “An Umbreon and a Togepi in one day! This is a great-OWWW!!!” Brendan looked down at his leg, which was hit with a hard electric shock. He cursed furiously at Pikachu, whose cheeks were charging up for another attack.

“LET GO OF MISTY NOW!” Ash yelled at Brendan angrily. Brendan sneered.

“You can have your girlfriend… I got her Pokemon, which was all I was interested in.”

“WHA? GIRLFRIEND? NO WAY!” Ash yelled embarrassedly. Marina sweatdropped. Suddenly, Brock, Prof. Eve, Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy ran over to the group.

“My Umbreon!” Eve said happily as she called off the Psychic Pokemon’s attack on Misty. Misty fell to the ground and grabbed Togepi out of Brendan’s cold hands. She kicked him in the shin.

“That’s what you deserve, you thief!” Officer Jenny said as she walked over to the white haired teen.

“Heh. If you want to catch me, Ketchum, you’ll have to keep up.” He said as he got a Pokeball out. “Go Pigeot!” The bird Pokemon flew the criminal out of sight as Brendan hopped on it.

“We didn’t catch him…” Nurse Joy said sadly.

“Oh well… At least we got the Pokemon back from him.” Brock said.

“We’ll keep on his tail, right guys?” Ash said to Misty, and Brock.

“Right.” They replied.

Marina smiled at Ash. “Hey, it was nice meeting you. Listen, if you ever want to visit again, feel free to stop by my house. See ya guys.” She said as she sweetly kissed Ash on the cheek. Ash blushed furiously and Misty snarled with her fists tight.

“See ya soon!” Ash said as they walked away from the Town of New Beginnings, Firefly Town, and onto the first badge in Shell City.

The first Episode is done:) I really hope you like it, I tried to use a lot of description to make it easier to understand. Hehe… By the way, here are a few things to look forward to for Episode 2: Trees of Terror:

-Ash and Misty fight #1

-They get lost in a mysterious forest

-Ash catches his first new Pokemon

-We meet up with a certain foe
