Part One:

Check Up and Rapid Fire

ME NO OWNY POKEMONY

I got this idea from Xenosaga. I don’t own that either. The whole when my mother died thought is probably kinda confusing, you’ll get it later in the story. On with part ONE!!!

“Sir,” exclaimed a soldier, “it’s coming from a War Ship.” The man with black, spiky hair looked up.

“Hmph. Maybe its Yai. Turn on the screen.”

“Ash Ketchum,” exclaimed a woman. “You should be checking up on the companies in your ship.” Ash smiled.

“Ah. Seraphina Miles. I’ll tell you once more, the companies are fine. Especially Maris.” Maris was a company that helped develop weaponry for the War Fleets.

“Are you sure? That’s what you said last time and-“

“And Bellview was having some technical problems. No one was hurt, that’s all that matters.” Seraphina gave Ash a stern look.

“But it could happen again and with consequences.”

“Give it a rest. You’re acting like my mother. Bye, Sera.” The screen switched off. A thought went through Ash’s mind.

I wonder when my mother died…

A slender, black haired woman walked through the halls of the ship. When she arrived back to her station, she entered a small semi-translucent slip into a slot.

“Welcome back to Maris,” a computer voice rang.

“Yeah, yeah,” she said. As soon as she walked into the doors, there were yells.

“Chief, over here! Look at the modifications I made to EB-10009.” She sighed and walked over to the man that was yelling at her.

“Hi, Morgan. What’s up with the EB-10009?” Morgan grinned and showed it to her.

“I spent all night working on this. It’s a rapid fire.” She rolled her eyes and explained.

“Morgan, for the last time. EB-10009 can’t use rapid fire. It’ll malfunction.” She led Morgan to the firing range in the back.

“Watch.” She put it on rapid fire, and it worked smoothly.

“Oh well… I’m wrong again.” She set the EB-10009 down on the table in front of her.

“Chief, are you sure you’re okay?” Asked Morgan, concerned, sitting on the table.

“Hm? Yeah, I’ve just been a little… well, how do you put it?” She went into a thinking stance.

“Preoccupied?” Guessed Morgan.

“Not particularly. It’s more like… too deep in though.”

“Yup. You have been kinda spacey lately,” explained Morgan. The woman giggled.

“Oh please. You’re using 21st century lingo. Anyways, tell me about the EB-10009.”

“Well Chief, anyone can put on a rapid fire, but it took me all night to get a malfunction-proof one,” Morgan said proudly, grinning. The woman started thinking…

…God… When will this be over….

Happy, peppy part one! NOT! I like this story! It’s TWIIIISTYY! (Insert crazy laugh here) Just like Albedo! You’ll figure it out later. WHEN I REVEAL IT! (Insert another crazy laugh here) Later!! By the way… I’m so sorry that this part is SO short. I’ll make the next one longer. I PROMISE!!!
