The last time that we left off, Misty accidentally called Ash “sugar cakes”. And Brock tells Misty that she should tell Ash that she loves him pretty soon or it would be too late.
The next day, at the Christmas party

Brock: Hey, guys, lets play Spin the Bottle!
Misty: Umm...
Brock: Come on, Misty! It's your perfect opportunity.
Misty: Well, ok. Everyone else wants to play, so I guess I will too.
Brock: Ok, girls control the bottle first. Then the boy who gets kissed will spin the bottle and kiss a girl. Got it?
Jasmine: I'll go first.
Jasmine spun the Coke bottle on the hardwood floor. It went around a couple times before it landed on...TRACY!!!!!
Jasmine: Oh my gosh!
Brock: Jasmine, you can choose the closet or kissing him right here and now.
Jasmine: Kiss right here and right now.
Everyone else: OOOOOOO!!!!
Jasmine leaned forwards and kissed Tracy on the cheek. It was a big surprise because Jasmine was a hopeless romantic.
Tracy: Ok. This will be odd. But, it's my turn.
Tracy spun the bottle hard and it took about two minutes before it stopped on...MAY!!!
Tracy: I choose closet.
May: Oh my gosh!!!!!!!I don't wanna go in there. Ash, take me!!! I can kiss you forever.
Everyone: OOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Everyone was staring at Ash and his face turned bright red. Misty's happy thoughts turned to anger.
Misty(thinking to herself): What if he likes May? What if the bottle lands on Ash when May spins it? Then, I will be stuck with Gary, Rudy, or Brock. And that would not be good. I must get Ash! I must, I must, I must!!!!!!
May and Tracy got out of the closet and it was May's turn to spin the bottle.
Misty(still thinking): I pray to God that the bottle doesn't land on Ash. Please, please, please!!!!
The bottle landed on...ASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Misty(still thinking): Oh, no! All my hopes are ruined. But, he could spin the bottle and it would land on me! I never thought of that!!! YAY!!!!
May: Oh, come on Ash. Let's go in the closet.
May dragged Ash by the collar of his shirt, who had a scared to death look on his face.
They were in the closet for a long time; a VERY long time.
Finally, Ash and May came out and it was Ash's turn to spin the bottle.
Misty: Come on. Come on.
The bottle landed on...MISTY!!!!
Misty: Oh my GOSH!!!!!
Ash: I choose closet.
Misty: Ok.
Ash and Misty went in the closet. It was kinda squished up but she was with Ash and that was all she cared about.
Ash: This is kinda weird isn't it?
Misty: Ya, really weird.
Ash: Um, Misty?
Misty: Ya.
Ash: I want to tell you something.
Misty: What?
Oh my gosh!! He was going to tell her. She just knew it!
Ash: I...love you.
Without any warning, Ash gave her a HUGE kiss.
Misty: Well, guess what? I have loved you ever since we have met. I was just too afraid to tell you.
Misty wrapped her arms around him and kissed him again.
Ash and Misty were in the closet for 10 minutes when it was Misty's turn. When they were walking out, Ash passed her a note. It read:
Dear Misty,
I have loved you since I met you and don't get me wrong, you are the cutest girl I have ever met and also the sweetest, even though you can get cranky sometimes. Anyways, on Christmas Day(that's tomorrow) I have something special to give you and tonight, meet me on the front porch because I have a surprise for you too.

That was the sweetest note anyone had ever given Misty ever. She couldn't believe it. Ash loved her. Her Christmas wish had come true. She hoped to meet him under the mistletoe this Christmas. When Spin the Bottle was over, Misty had to meet Ash on the front porch. Ash's house overlooked the sea so it was Misty's favourite place to be and Ash knew that. When she stepped outside, Ash was right there with the sparkling sea behind him.
Ash: I want to show you something.
Misty: Ok.
Ash: Close your eyes.
Misty gently closed her as Ash took her hand and lead her to the beach.
Ash: You can open your eyes now.
