Last time we left off: Ash confesses to Misty that he loves her and Misty is overjoyed when Ash has two surprises waiting for her.

Ash: Ok, you can open your eyes.

Misty opened her eyes and saw the most beautiful Pokemon she has ever seen. It was a Lapras, so big and so pretty.

Ash: Do you like it?

Misty: I love it!!!!

Misty jumped into Ash's arms and gave him a huge hug.

Ash: Do you wanna ride it with me right now?

Misty: I'd like that.

Ash helped her up on the luscious purple shell of her new Lapras and they took off.

Misty: This is so wonderful! Thank you so much! Have you been planning this?

Ash: Well, I, um, um...yes I did.

Misty: Your the best!

Misty grabbed his shoulder and kissed him.

Misty: This is the best Christmas Eve ever.

Ash: It sure is.

Misty: Can I ask you something?

Ash: What?

Misty: Can you meet me under the mistletoe tomorrow?

Ash: I can try.

Misty: Just don't kiss May.

Ash: Oh, please. I won't do anything like that.

Ash kissed her again on the cheek.

Misty: Should we start heading in?

Ash: Sure.

It was Christmas Day. Ash was waiting for Misty to get up, so he could give her his special surprise. Misty walked downstairs to the living room where the Christmas tree was. Ash was right there with a small package in his hand, wrapped in blue metallic paper.

Ash: Merry Christmas. This is for you.

Ash handed Misty the gift. She opened it to find a small white silky box. Inside was a gold Horsea locket. When she opened up the locket, inside was a picture of Ash and Misty on the porch the day before. Ash got Brock to take a picture secretly to put in the necklace. On, the other side were the words “Merry Christmas Misty! I Love You!”

Misty: Oh my gosh Ash, you really are the best. And guess what?

Ash: What?

Misty: I love you too.

She gave him a passionate kiss, one that showed that she really cared.

Misty: Oh, I have something for you too.

Ash: Really?

Misty gave him a small present wrapped in gold paper.

Misty: Go ahead, open it.

Inside was a gold Pokeball. Ash opened it up and there was the Butterfree that he had left earlier on his journey.

Ash: How did you do this? This is incredible!

Misty: Well, when we were walking to your house. I noticed a Butterfree with a yellow tie around it's neck on the ground. It's wind was hurt. That's why I was at the Pokemon center so I could heal it.

Ash: This is the best Christmas present I have ever gotten.

He kissed her the same way Misty kissed him.

They realized that the mistletoe was right above the Christmas tree.

Ash: Wow, I guess that we were under the mistletoe after all.

Misty: Ya, lucky us.
