Another Day Goes By

Ages: Ash: 13, Misty: 14, Tracey: 16, Vera: 22, TR: 20

	It was now late in the night and I wasn’t asleep. Tomorrow Vera was going to let 
me leave. She had called a boat from shore to come take me to land. I was worried about 
my Pokemon. They were in my backpack and that had fallen off while I was washing 
away. I stroked Pikachu’s fur. Pikachu watched me worry all day. I was worried about 
Misty. What if she never made it to shore? When I would make it to land I would go 
search for her. Even if it took my lifetime.
	
      I was packed and ready to go. Pikachu was hopping into the boat while I thanked 
Vera for taking care of me. I jumped into the boat and we floated away towards the docks 
on Tosono Island. It was the next place that we were headed, it was probably the most 
likely place to find Misty and Tracey too. I dipped my hand in the warm ocean water. 
The breeze of the ocean calmed me. Land soon came into view as I removed my hand 
from the water. “There it is, Pikachu. We have to find Misty and Tracey.” “Pika-chu-pi!” 
(I miss them!) “I know Pikachu.” I could not even travel on my Iash league until I got my 
Pokemon back, if I could find them. The boat pulled up to the side of the dock and I 
hopped out. Vera had paid the fee for me. I found myself staring into a three familiar 
faces. “What do you want?” I asked coldly.
      
“Prepare for trouble!”

“And make it double!”

“To protect the world from devastation! 

“To unite all peoples within our nation!”

“To denounce the evils of truth and love!”

“To extend our reach to the stars above!”

“Jessie!” 

“Jam- “Idiot!” I called out.

“Oops that’s right!”

“Team Rocket Blast off at the speed of light!”

“Surrender now or- hey!”

“Meowth that’s right!”

	“TWERP! YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT!” I snickered. I walked off away from 
them. “Hey where are you going?” They all ask at one time. “Away from you!” I yell and 
leave them in anger and Pikachu and I go off searching for Misty.
