The Child's Duplicate By: Enja Ages: Ash: 13, Misty: 14, Brock: 17 Disclaimer: I really don't own Pokemon *tears drop*, so yeah...you can't really actually sue me. Part: 1 Ash's P.O.V. It was nearing the end of the day and I was getting tired. My legs hurt, my head hurt, my whole body hurt. I wanted to get home to Pallet but I was too tired. I could easily see that Misty and Brock were tired too. Pikachu wasn't tired what-so-ever because he had been riding on my shoulder. I stopped and sat on the ground. Doing this Misty and Brock copied me. "I'm so tired..." Misty said, taking deep breaths. "Me too..." I replied. Brock was silent. For all I know he was probably asleep and dreaming of Officer Jenni and Nurse Joy. Pikachu poked at my cheek to see if I was still alive. I replied by moaning. I couldn't blame him for seeing if I was alive. I could barely move. The most I could do was blink. Techinically I could move and get up, but I didn't or wouldn't. Misty and Brock seemed to be in the same position. We hadn't stopped since early afternoon and it was almost completly dark. "Nurse Joy?" Brock asked waking up from his short nap. When he saw everybody on the ground, laying motionless, he started to panic. "Oh my god! OH MY GOD! THEY'RE DEAD! OH ASH, OH MISTY!" I tried not to burst out in laughter. I wanted to see what would happen next. Brock started running around in circles acting like Psyduck. "...what will I tell Delia and Misty's sisters...I am so going to die!!!" Brock continued panicing. That was it, I couldn't hold my laughter anymore and neither could Pikachu. "Brock!...We're...not...dead!...We...ar-.....!" I couldn't continue. I was laughing too hard. I noticed Misty was also rolling around laughing. "GGGGGGRRRRRRRR!" Brock called. I still couldn't stop laughing. "Ever...heard...of...checking...the...heartbeat?" Misty asks. I burst into more laughter. "THAT'S IT! NO DINNER!" I immeadiatly stopped laughing but Misty kept laughing. "No...food?" "THAT'S RIGHT, NO DINNER!" Misty stopped laughing this time. We all stared at him. His stern face went right to humored. "Now...who's...laughing!" Brock was rolling on the ground the way I had. He was immeadiatly shut-up by Misty's infamous mallet that Brock and I feared. Brock was rubbing a lump on his head and went quietly to start dinner. Misty and I started to set up camp by rolling out the sleeping bags. Misty had been ignoring me lately and keeping her distance. She started putting her sleeping bag as far away as she could. I didn't know why. It hurt, because I loved her. Did I do anything to hurt her feelings? I didn't remember doing anything that would hurt her. The last thing we did was fight over the last piece of pizza, how could that hurt anybody? "Dinner!" Brock called. I ran over to him and the food enthusiastically. It was 'Lazy Boy No Chew Stu,' my favorite. Though I wasn't to fond of soup I liked this. I stuffed my face at first, but I stopped when Misty sat next to Brock and kept spacing out. She was staring at me. She immeadatly looked away and stared at the stars. "Are you okay Misty?" I asked. She nodded and gave me a quick glance. I continued eating my food and went to bed when I finished. ~ § ~ § ~ § ~ My eyes slowly opened and quickly shut when the sun blared in my face. I moaned and turned onto my side that faced Brock, hoping to get a bit more sleep. No avail. I could hear Pikachu's cheeks getting ready to aim a thunder shock at me. I bolted out of my bed before he could shock me. I heard Pikachu sigh in dissapointment sheepishly. He looked forward to trying to get Brock up. He was the mosty heavy sleeper I have ever known. A thunder bolt was unleashed at him and he still didn't wake up. Pikachu loved these moments. He now aimed a Thunder! At Brock. A milli second later Brock was in the air, yelping in pain. I snickered. Misty always got up before us and I was glad she didn't wake me up today. She would take her mallet and wack it against your head. Pikachu and Misty took turns waking us up everyday. I tried to get up before them. Instead of warm breakfast today we just had fruit and headed down the road to Pallet. ~ § ~ § ~ § ~ "ASH! TELL ME WE'RE NOT LOST AGAIN!" I ignored her complaining. These were the only times she would actually really fully comunticate with me. Recently she would either shake her head 'yes' or 'no.' I sighed. "We're aren't lost." I say quietly. "UUUUHHHGGG!" Misty cried out loud. "Ash you are so dense!" I glared at her. "I would blame that on myself if I were you! YOU hit me on the head with that mallet almost daily! No wonder!" I yell getting annoyed. "No, you are just a childish brat that only cares for yourself and Pokemon!" That burned. "ARE NOT!" "ARE TOO!" "ARE NOT!" "ARE TOO!" "ARE NOT!" "THAT'S ENOUGH YOU TWO!" We quieted it down after that. "Sorry Brock." I say. Misty was silent once again. We kept on going down the path that would lead us to Pallet. ~ § ~ § ~ § ~ I stood infront of my house and started to walk up to the door. Misty and Brock were also eager to get inside. My mom always welcomed them and any other of my friends. I open the door and slowly walk inside. I start to head to the kitchen. When I head by the living room I see someone on the couch. I stop dead in my tracks. He looks exactly like me! "There's two!" Misty calls. A/n- How do ya people like it? I really would like to know. PUH-LEASE REVIEW!
