Time for one more adventure.

Chapter: one, Happy Birthday Ash!

Ages: Amy: 18 Ash: 25 Misty: 25 Tommy: 7 Brock: 30

Hi I thought you might like a sequel to A new trainer on the block and in the 
nick of time so now I finally thought of an idea for one. If you haven't read 
both stories this will get very confusing, e-mail me if you are and I'll try and 
help you out.

It had been 7 years since Ash had married Misty and 9 years since he had been 
aloud to come back to life. Misty and Ash had decided to continue their pokemon 
journey along with a new member of the family and Brock, but today was a special 
day. Today was Ash's birthday! "Ash, ASH! WAKE UP!" said Misty excitedly. "Huh? 
Whoa, what's going on, oh good morning Misty." Said Ash as he gave Misty a kiss 
on the cheek. "Hay dad, come on out we have a surprise for you." Said a little 
boy with black hair and blue eye's. "I'm coming Tommy, I'm coming." Said Ash 
sitting up in his sleeping bag rubbing his eyes. Tommy and Misty both crawled 
out of the tent as Ash put on his jean jacket and shoes. When Ash crawled out of 
his tent a few min. later he gasped in surprise. As soon as they saw Ash come 
out every one yelled "SURPRIZE, Happy birthday Ash!" Right in front of him, on a 
set-up table, was a cake with a pikachu design on it and 6 presents staked up 
like a pyramid. 

"Wow thanks you guys." Said Ash after the shock wore off. "Sorry we didn't get 
any ice cream, it would have melted in this hot weather." Said Brock. "That's al 
right Brock, its perfect just the way it is." said Ash cheerfully. "Why don't 
you open your gifts now Ash?" asked Misty. "O.K." replied Ash. One by one Ash 
opened each one of his gifts.

From Brock he got a breeders kit witch included a brush for electric pokemon, a 
booklet on how to tell what kind of sickness your pokemon has and how to treat 
it. It also came with some electric pokemon food. From Amy he got 5 ultra balls 
and a cell phone. From Ash's pokemon (not including pikachu) he got a brand new 
gold frame to put his award that he got from beating lance in their battle.

From pikachu, Pikapi and Pichu (Pikapi and pikachu's kid) Ash got a gold luxury 
ball with an "A" on the front of it. From Misty he got a charm bracelet with 3 
harts on it each containing a picture in them. One of them had Ash and all of 
his pokemon, the next one had Ash along with all his friends, witch included his 
rival Gary. The last hart contained Ash and Misty kissing on there wedding day. 
"Thanks Misty." Said Ash as he kissed Misty on the cheek. "Don't forget my 
present dad." Said Tommy holding out a present toward him. "I didn't, I'm just 
saving the best for last." Said Ash cheerfully. He took the oddly shaped present 
and read the note, 

Dear Dad,

I caught this in the woods for you; pikachu was with me so he helped me. I hope 
you like it.

Tommy

"Thank you Tommy but I wont you to keep it, you caught it so I can't take it, do 
you wont it Tommy?" asked Ash slyly knowing his son was eager to begin his 
pokemon training. "You mean it Dad?" asked Tommy looking excited. "Yes you can 
have it if you promise to keep it and take care of it O.K.," asked Ash already 
knowing what the answer was. "Yes, I promise." Said Tommy. Ash smiled, happy to 
see his son get his first pokemon. "Pika pi, pi Chu (Lets eat)" said Pichu 
impatiently. "Good idea Pichu." Agreed Ash.

Hi, I know, I know, short and boring but wait till the next chapter, it will get 
a lot better, I'm going to bring in a few old friends of Ash's from "In the nick 
of time". So all of you who have not read both in the nick of time and a new 
trainer on the block you will won't to read those. If you won't to guess who
