Finally got back to this story, I had to re-edit this one a few times. A slight problem with the plot and timeline, enjoy… Ash was all tensed up as Misty sighed and she fed Togipi, she knew to have a little patience for him, May and Ash did travel a year together and she didn’t fight with him like she did. Harino came in the room and he noticed the clear silence within the room. “Gee, I hope May doesn’t try and do something crazy,” Ash said as Misty got a little peeved as Harino sighed. “Ash, she did travel with you a long time like Misty, yet if she was going to try and break you up, she would’ve done so by now.” Harino suggested as Ash stopped pacing and Misty looked up at Harino in awe. Usually, this Psychic boy would mess around with them and play around, but something had happened while they were in the U.S.L.A. Then she remembered what Ash had told her, and she had also seen the changes that Harino had shown. Cass and Raven were going with them while Rikari and Richie were going to a convention in Old Dale Town with Brock. “Well, let’s get packing if we’re actually going!” Zack had gracicoulsy thanked May’s parents for her generosity, although she should have consulted them first of all, they were at least glad that Zack had manners. “Come on,” May said as Zack followed her to the room he was going to stay in while Max snuck up behind them. May opened the door to her room, Zack lay down the only thing he brought with him, his gym bag and he intentionally dropped it down behind him. Max had a bunch of contained stink bombs underneath his shirt and in his socks when he tripped over Zack’s gym bag and all the stink bombs exploded all over him. May smelt the stink bombs and Zack let out his Absol which used a gust of wind to blow away the smell. “Don’t mind my little brother Max, he’s trying to get me back for hanging from his underwear.” “A pulley with two hooks attached to his underwear?” “Yep, his shirt fell over his eyes and he nearly fell down..” “His pants caught him and then you let him hang there for the night.” Zack chuckled as May smiled. She thought that Zack may be just a little weird but he was just like her, except that he was a boy. Max was about to sneak into Zack’s gym bag to get the stench off when he heard a low growl and Absol chased him out of the room. Zack went out of the room when she had to change into her pajamas, he just took off his shirt and took out his sleeping bag and fell asleep. The next morning, May woke up early to find out that her sliding glass door was open. The door was letting in a cold breeze and she saw Zack standing beside the huge oak tree that stood as the town boundary. He had five empty Pokeballs around his belt with a neckalace around his neck that had a gray looking Pokeball attached to it. “Oh, you had to let your Pokem-m-mon-n-n out-t-t, achoo!” she sneezed, rubbing her arms to keep herself warm. “Here May,” Zack took off his vest and he put it around May, the vest was at least two sizes bigger than she was. She didn’t think that it would be so warm, Zack felt a little drop in tempature but he used a technique he learned to increase his body heat. They waited a little while until May started to doze off, Zack looked at his watch and reliazed that he had woke up late, it was 5:30 and he usually woke up at 4:00, Zack whistled and all of his Pokemon ran back to him. May opened up her sleep ees and looked over towards Zack and then closed her eyes only to snap them back open to stare at Zack’s Pokemon Team. She had never seen so many rare and intimdating Pokemon. She spotted a Flygon, Gai Haiki, a Glailie, Metagross, she stared at the fifth one in fear, it was an Absol, Pokemon known for being sort of disaterous. She backed up into the tree as Absol sniffed her, Zack did a few low whistles and Absol backed away from her. May watched as Zack returned his Pokemon to their Pokeballs except for Gai Haiki, he took out his neckalace and took the orb off of it. “Come out, Gai Knight!” Zack said as May realized it was a Pokeball and a flash of light flew from it and a huge Registeel appeared. May gasped at the huge Pokemon as Zack took out a few rocks and fed it to Registeel, May got up and walked over to Registeel. “Meet my strongest Pokemon, Registeel,” “Is it dangerous?” “It’s okay, I guess seeing a Pokemon Team as rare as mine is always suprising and scary.” Zack said, a bit embrassed for scaring her, he took a few of the rocks and gave them to May. “You can feed him, he won’t bite.” “Okay,” May replied as she slowly held out her hand to Registeel, she closed her eyes as it stepped closer to her, she opened her eyes only to see Registeel eating the rocks. Registeel than turned to Zack who took out the see through Pokeball and returned Registeel to his Pokeball. They walked back inside the house for the whole day, May was surprised at how much Zack had helped out with around the house, Max was annoyed because he couldn’t find Zack’s Pokemon data on the computer. Max noticed how Zack acted when no one was around so he decided to confront Zack. “Okay Zack, if that’s really your name, why did you come here and how come I can’t find your file on the-“ Max was grabbed by the mouth and then pulled out of sight. Max watched as Zack looked around and then let go of Max, Max caught sight of a chain around Zack’s neck. “Who are you?” “I see your as curious as your sister indicated, fine. Tell me why you need to know it?” Zack asked. “Your making my sister act all nice all the time, and yet I don’t know a thing about you and I have the biggest trainer file on everyone.” “I didn’t think a small detour would affect anyone, I had hoped to be gone by this morning but I felt like a couldn’t yet.” Zack said as he sat down against the tree, Max sat down too staring at Zack in silience. Zack took out a small pokedex and he opened it up and handed it to Max. “This is my Pokedex, it’s security protected so only I can open it, it has all my data and everything you need to know about me.” “………” Max read everything on the Pokedex, looking a little green when he read some of the dairies while staring at Zack in awe as he read others. “I can’t believe it…” “It’s the only truth that you can believe,” Zack replied as Max looked at him as Zack took out his army tag chains, showing them to Max. Soldier Name: Zack Taylor Codename: Steel Squire Blood Type: AB Rank: Black Ops Knight Max looked at the dogtags and he stared at him in awe and amazement. “Since you know this information, don’t tell anyone else, not even May. She can’t know any of this information, I’m already jeapordizing myself by staying here.” “But May is my sister, she’ll find out sometime!” Max replied as Zack took back his Pokedex and put away his dogtags. “Then I’ll tell her myself, it’ll be better that way, and here, it’s a Pokeball.” Zack tossed him a cool looking Pokeball and ruffled his hair. Max watched Zack get up and walk back inside the house, Max’s head was spinning and he could only think about how Ash was doing… “Ah, flying in style, what could be better?” Misty yawned as she leaned her chair back. Raver couldn’t respond because Cass was holding onto his neck, she had never flown in a plane up so high before. “Okay Cass, please let go of my neck.” Raver asked her and she gasped and let go. Raver looked over to Ash but he was preoccupied with stroking Misty’s hair as she slept, Raver started to get up but Cass was laying her head on his shoulder. “We shall be arriving at Rustburo City Airport in a short time.” Harino was talking to Chaka when he snapped his head and looked out the window, staring down at the land. He tried to sense the mysterious and evil presence but he couldn’t find it again. “You okay Harino, anything bothering you?” Chaka asked him as he tried to ignore the feeling. He turned to her and forced a smile, she shrugged her shoulders and lay back in her seat, leaning up against Harino, he felt disturbed. He had hoped he wouldn’t find the source of the strange disturbance but the fact that he had felt it kept him tense… That night, Zack continued to help around the house, washing the dishes with Max. May went into her room and took out her cellphone and dialed Misty’s cell phone number, May listened to the dial tone and then someone yawn and answer the phone. “Hello, Misty Waterflower?” “Hey Misty, this is May, how you doing?” asked May, they chatted for a few minutes, May broke off the call when they kept on hearing static on the phone line. Zack came inside with Max closely behind him, Max was trying to get on his sister’s goodside so he could concentrate on his work and not pranks. “Looks like they won’t get here in two days,” “I guess we’ll just have to wait for them to get here,” Max said, May held a pillow up ready to knock him flat. Max held up his hands before running behind Zack, May looked as Zack who didn’t even brace himself. She sighed and put down the pillow, Max happily ran from behind Zack and jumped onto the bed, Zack chuckled as May started to pound him with the pillow. Suddenly, the lights started to flicker as a huge storm appeared out of nowhere, the rain beat down on the roof as the mighty winds started up and tore into the trees. Slowly the winds died down but the rain did not let up, May was about to wallop Max with two pillow but the lights suddenly went out. May and Max screamed in the darkness while Zack calmly felt for his Pokeballs and then his bag, he took out a small lighter and pulled out a lantern. He flicked his lighter on and slowly turned the lantern knob and then he lit the lantern, throwing light all around the room. Although the lantern was small and the light didn’t shine on everything, but May and Max found comfort in it. Zack took out a few candles and lit them, he placed them on the desk and drawer, May was really staring at him in amazement as he took out his huge blanket. Zack put the blanket around May and Max, Max wrapped his whole body in it and he started to pretend he was a mummy, May couldn’t believe how big the blanket was. “Come on Zack, there’s plenty enough here for the three of us.” May invited him as Blazkien fell asleep and Sceptile crept around the house, making sure everyone was alright. “It’s okay, I’ve traveled in worse weather than this,” he replied, May wondered where he had traveled, she asked him again. “Okay, it is a little cold,” “Gee May, going to get a little closer to Zack to stay warm?” elbowed Max, May had and extremely red blush while Zack got covered in the blanket. May noticed Zack’s dog tags and she read them while Zack and Max were distracted by the door opening, Sceptile flung the door open, scaring Max out of his skin. Sceptile than closed the door and sat down in front of the sliding door, watching the rain and wishing to be in it. May started to get mad at Zack for not showing her his dog tags and telling her a reason why he wore them, Zack kept watching the rain come down. “I hope my town is all right, I’m away from it so often that I don’t have a chance to visit it often.” He said as the rain continued to come pouring down on the city. May started to get tired so she leaned on the warmest thing near her, Zack, suddenly the flood alarm filled the air as Zack took out his gloves and put them on. “May, Max, stay here, that flood alarm means there’s a flood warning,” “The Police and Volunteers can take care of it Zack, you don’t have to get involved.” May worriedly replied as Max nodded, Sceptile opened the door as Zack took out a few things from his bag and tied them to his back. “There probably won’t be a flood at all.” “No, Gai Hakai has been watching the weather, he can feel the moisture in the clouds and sky, he can tell when there is a flood coming,” He replied as he followed Sceptile outside, May quickly got her rain coat out and followed him, Max turned to Blazkein who shook its head. “Don’t worry, the plane has an special procedure for this kind of weather,” Raver had a million sarcastic replies to that but Cass and Trillian were clinging onto him, Eclipse was busy trying to sleep to care. “Well, we know three more things about my little sister,” He spoke as Harino and Chaka listened to what he was about to say. “She hates storms and heights, and clings to Raver during the other two,” “It’s not funny for me!” Raver gasped as he tried to get Cass off of him. Harino kept looking out of the window and he started to get the odd feeling again, the storm was too unnatural to be weather. Officer Jenny was having a hard time instructing the volunteers and her own Police Squad, the rain was stirring up emotions as well as tempers. “MOVE IT PEOPLE!!!” everyone turned and got out of the way as Zack ran over to the river damn. He quickly measeured the water level and how much it was rising per minute and then he turned to the volunteers, his face as cold as stone. “IF YOU WANT TO BE DROWNING IN THE MORNING THEN GET OUT OF MY WAY!!! “A GAINT FLOOD IS COMING, RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!” Zack turned around and he reached for Registeel’s pokeball, he hesasitated to release Registeel but he thought of may and he threw the Pokeball forwards. What’s going to happen, where did the flood come from…(Like I know…)
