Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon! As their New Year’s Eve Resolution, Ash promised himself that he would tell Misty how he felt about her. He told her he loved her and swore he always would, she answered with a kiss. He promised his feelings for her would never change and that he would never cheat on her. They promised they’d be there for each other the whole way. They broke up for a year, but were still friends. They then recently got back together. Then Misty told him about Mix.com Pop! Ash received a message from Misty. He had just discovered an online dating service called “Mix.com.,” Misty had recommended the other day. He wasn’t too hopeful about it, but then a picture of Misty Waterflower popped up. He received a message that said, “Hey Ash, long time no see!” Hadn’t he just seen her yesterday? Didn’t I just see you yesterday?, he asked. Uh-oh, May thought. She banged her head on the table. She didn’t know Ash saw Misty yesterday! She had hacked onto Misty’s account. Posing as Misty was harder than May thought. Hey, it was a VERY long wait for me! May wrote, hoping Ash would catch on and realize she missed him. Umm, 24 hours is not that long of a wait dude,, Ash replied. Ugh! He didn’t understand! And, worst of all, he called her a DUDE! A DUDE! AAAH! She banged her head on the keyboard, sending a message to Ash that said, ghsdvalitf`.eafghusafadgf.jcfhakha ,cvjioasjf. What?, Ash replied. Oh, it’s nothing, May wrote. So, um, do you wanna go out? May wrote quickly. Love to!, wrote Ash. Saturday? K, May wrote. Bye! Bye. -----Saturday----- “Misty?” Ash called, knocking on the door. May fluffed her hair, and opened the door carefully, as to only show her eyes. “Ash? Hi!” May said. She rushed him in. “May?! What the heck?! Where’s Misty?” Ash yelled. He saw May smirk, then noticed Mix.com and her chat with Ash pulled up on the computer. “May! Y-you-you tricked me!” “Now Ashy, calm down! All we’re gonna do is watch a sappy movie and eat popcorn and possibly-” May saw Ash gulp in horror eyes wide, “kiss?” May finished. She watched Ash sit down like a robot and turn on the movie. He didn’t touch May the whole time. He wouldn’t even reach in the popcorn bowl. The movie wasn’t that bad to May. Finally, the date was over! May looked at Ash expectantly, then he stood up. May heard a door slam. Ash had left! -----The next day----- Ash was on Mix.com. He noticed “Misty” was too. That punk! She had tricked him! Misty looked at her screen. Ash wouldn’t answer ANY of her messages! She hadn’t done anything to him, had she? This was strange. Ash, please answer me! she wrote. I, I was wondering if you’d like to go on a date with me.. Ash couldn’t believe it. Was she nuts?! Listen, he wrote. I would never, ever date someone as self-absorbed as you! You think you’re so good, don’t you? Well, you’re not! Is that the only way you can get guys?God, why am I even wasting my time with you?! I thought you were my friend. Nothing more! You are such a jerk! I hate you! Did you know that? Oh, but I bet you didn’t know this! I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN! NEVER! he finished. Misty stared at her computer. What had just happened?! He was joking, right? No, it looked like he was dead serious. She ran to her bedroom and slammed the door shut, crying her heart out. This is the story of a girl, who cried a river and drowned the whole world. And while she looks so sad in photographs, I absolutely love her, when she smiles. May looked at Misty through her window. Her plan had worked! She did a victory dance. But now, it was time to get more serious…
