Valerie: 18 Misty: 18 Ash:18 “Misty, wait!” Ash yelled, and followed after her. “You don’t have to act like you care!” Misty screeched. “Misty!” he grabbed her arm. “I’m not acting.” “Oh, like I should believe that!” Misty growled. “You better!” Ash’s voice was getting louder. Misty turned around. She stared at him. “Ash Ketchum, we’ve been best friends since 4th grade! You didn’t even stick up for me when Valerie started talking trash about me!” “Well, she’s my girlfriend, and aren’t they the ones that are supposed to come first?” Ash said, looking away from her. “In her world, maybe. But no, Ash. Friends come first. You may not always have a girlfriend but you’ll always have friends!” Misty said. “When did you learn this?” he asked quietly. “Kindergarten.” Misty snapped. Ash started to laugh. Misty stared at him in horror. “Ash Ketchum, this is no laughing matter!” she shrieked. “Well, Misty you’re right. Sorry.” Ash said, knowing that in only a matter of time, would he get the mallet. “Why were you laughing?” Misty asked. “Its just, kindergarten? You remember this from kindergarten?!” Ash snorted. “Oh, yes.” Misty said. “I also remember which hand my mallet is in.” Misty growled. “Look, Misty, I was just kidding!” Ash said nervously. “Yeah, I know Ash, but its just hard for me to be friends with you when you’re dating my mortal enemy and all.” Misty sighed. “But she said you two used to be best friends!” Ash protested. “Until Valerie started to like you when I already did and then she said after all these years you haven’t asked me out yet and she said I already have a date with him and why would he ever date you and I said what do you mean and she said-” Misty was cut off by Ash. “So..you like me?” Ash asked. “Is that all you got out of it?” Misty giggled. “That’s all I care about.” Ash smiled. “Do you think I’m gonna believe that?” Misty crossed her arms. Ash kissed her lightly on the cheek. “I hope so.” Ash said. Valerie stared at the two behind a plant. She needed help to get Ash back. Proffessional help. She pulled out her cell and dialed a number. “Hello! This is Valerie! Hi! Yeah, I need help with getting Ash Ketchum back.” she said into the phone. “Did you lose him? If you did go to trackashketchum website and you might be able to find him!” the voice said. “No you retard! I’m losing him, as in my boyfriend!” Valerie yelled. She saw Ash and Misty look around for the voice. Valerie had to keep quiet. “He’s like dating Misty now!” Valerie whispered. “Oh, well then it will be my pleasure to get her away from Ash!” the voice cackled. “Thanks May.” Valerie said, and closed her phone. At least Ash had to come to prom with her. He swore he wouldn’t cancel. Valerie smiled. Life was finally going her way. Ding-dong! Valerie’s doorbell rang. It was May. “Hey!” May said. “No time for introductions!” Valerie said quickly. “The prom is on Friday and that means its only 3 days away and I need to have Ash back by then!” Valerie said impatiently. “You’re right.” May said. “Operation: GAB.” “Gab?” Valerie asked. “Get Ash Back!” May said, exasperated. “Oh, right.” Valerie nodded. “Let’s get started!” May grinned evilly.
