<P>Chapter 1: Unown’s Special Power</P>

<P>“Ash! Wait up!” May yelled. Ash Ketchum was running because he saw a sign advertising a festival. It said “Come to Poke-Paloosa! It will be in town today, and today only! Free rides, fun and free food!” The “free food” part had caught Ash’s eye. Now, he was running to get to the festival before it ended. </P>
<P>“Come on, guys!” Ash said, still running. “, it’s gonna close soon!” Ash, and his friends, reached the festival…and there was hardly anyone there. The only people there were the man and woman who ran it. </P>
<P>“Come in!” the man said. “Yes, please do!” exclaimed the woman. Ash walked in and the man and woman said “Try your luck and win a prize!” Ash and the others ran in and saw a bottle toss booth. “Knock em’ down and you win a prize!” the woman explained. But, when Ash threw a ball and knocked down all of the bottles, a net came out of them and captured him and the others. The bottles sucked in their Pokemon. </P>
<P>“What the-?” Ash shouted. The man and woman laughed and pulled of their disguises. </P>
<P>“Prepare for trouble, it’s fun at the fair!” said the woman. </P>
<P>“Make it double, but since we’re here, you better beware!” said the man. </P>
<P>“To protect the world from devastation!” </P>
<P>“To unite all peoples within our nation! </P>
<P>“To denounce the evils of truth and love! </P>
<P>“To extend our reach to the stars above!” </P>
<P> “Jessie!” </P>
<P>“James!”</P>
<P>“Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!” </P>
<P>“Surrender now, or prepare to fight, fight, fight!” </P>
<P>“Meowth, that’s right!” </P>
<P>“Team Rocket?!” Ash exclaimed. “That’s right, twerp!” Jessie said. James snickered and said “We get the prize! Your Pokemon! Now…huh?” </P>
<P>James had noticed something in the air. It came down and said “Unown!” James and Jessie stared at the Unown, and grinned. “That Unown is ours!” </P>
<P>They tried grabbing it, but the Unown started glowing. “UNOWN!” it exclaimed, and a giant swirling vortex opened. It started sucking in Ash, his friends, Jessie, James and Meowth. The next thing Ash knew, he was on a ship with his friends and some other people. </P>
<P>“Who are you?” asked a man in a green bandana. “I’m Ash, and this is May, Max and Brock.” Ash said. “Well, Ash, welcome aboard our pirate ship.” </P>
