The Pokemon Pirates: Meet The Straw Hat Pirates

“We’re on a pirate ship?!” May exclaimed. “Don’t hurt me!” A blond haired man 
walked up to her and said “Why would we hurt such a pretty face?” POW! May had 
punched the man very hard. “Don’t hit on me!” 


A man in a straw hat came up to them. “Hi! I’m Monkey D. Luffy!” he said. “Your 
first name’s Monkey?” Ash asked. “Yeah, but everyone calls me Luffy.” Luffy 
explained. “So, how did you get here?” a woman holding a staff asked them. “An 
Unown sent us here.” Brock said. 


“Unown? What’s that?” Luffy asked. He turned to the man with the bandana and 
said “Zolo, what’s an Unown?” “How am I supposed to know?” he replied. “Maybe 
Nami knows.” he said pointing to the woman with the staff. “Nope. Ussop?” she 
asked to a long nosed man. “Don’t think so. Sanji?" he asked the blonde haired 
man. "No." He then turned to a blue haired woman and asked “You, Vivi?” 


“I don’t think anyone knows except these guys.” Vivi said. “An Unown is a 
Pokemon.” Brock explained. “A Poke-what?” a small reindeer thing said. “Cool! A 
new Pokemon!” Ash said. He pulled out a poke ball and threw it at the reindeer. 
“AHH!” it screamed and dodged it. “Quit throwing that thing at Chopper!” Luffy 
screamed. 


“So, you guys are pirates, right?” Max asked. They were eating steaks Sanji had 
made. “Yep, we’re pirates all right!” Ussop said. “You seem nice for pirates.” 
May said, biting into her steak.“So, any special treasure around that you’re 
looking for?” Ash asked Luffy. “Yep. One Piece, the treasure hidden by Gold 
Rodger, the King of the Pirates. I want to find it to become the next Pirate 
King.” 


“Legend has it that it has mystical powers.” Zolo said. Ash looked up at that 
comment. “Maybe it can send us back to our time!”
