Revenge:     Ash made a mistake of saying that Misty’s Gyarados was getting fat. The next morning, during a training session, his Charizard accidentally lit him on fire. Seeing as Misty was the only water pokémon trainer available at the moment, it took a little bit longer for the fire on his back to be put out.

Confusion:   “Ash, this is a dog not a new pokémon, so stop trying to capture it with your pokéball,”

Retaliation:   Their first official date was something of a strange one. He took one look at her and frankly said “I’m horny” in which she blinked and said “If you keep a gold fish in a room for too long it’ll turn white,”

In-Laws:     Misty complained that with his position as the Pokémon Master Ash just doesn’t have the time to romance her. She insisted at they sat across from each other and look into each other’s eyes. After five minutes of staring into her blue eyes, Ash decided to put a stop to such nonsense and told her that she was starting to look like his mother.

Communication:    After ten and plus years of knowing her, the Pokémon master came to a conclusion that he wanted her all for his own. Looking lazily at the distorted reflection of his honey eye on the large diamond’s surface, Ash wondered just how he was going to get his point across.

Reality:    He always had the vision of proposing by dropping the ring in her champagne but Brock pointedly said that there is a chance she was going to choke and die.

Reason: Ash and Brock tried out a new restaurant. The vegetables were overcooked and the meat undercooked, Brock got sick the entire night while Ash smiled. “This is a lot better than Misty’s cooking.”

Hidden Agendas:   Sometimes their marriage reached critical peaks. An example of those was when Misty couldn’t take off her wedding ring and accused Ash of fattening her up so she couldn’t get out of the marriage.

Lie:    “You see Misty, you’re not fat it’s just that your shirt doesn’t accentuate your curves correctly,”

Consolation:  Misty told Ash that if they have children, blue eyes are going to be in the Ketchum family for generations. He asked why she sounded sad; she said it was unnatural to have brown hair and blue eyes. “Misty, James has blue hair. If anything we’ll let our kid play with his kid,”

Suspicion: Ash narrowed his eyes suspiciously when he saw his wife holding a basket of laundry.

“What are you doing? You don’t do the laundry”

“No, but there’s a candy machine next to it,”

Discovery:   Misty was cleaning the house one day when she came across a stash of magazines hidden in the third drawer of his desk. She raised an eyebrow when she realized that Ash was using position 23 that morning. And she was starting to wonder where he got all his moves from.

Sex:  He almost fell of the bed when she smirked smugly and suggested that he should combine poses 14 and 25 together.

Tomatoes: She poked him awake one day claiming she was craving tomatoes. The rest of the night was quite hazy to him and all he remembered was pounding on Jessie and James’s door, “Give me all your tomatoes,”

Time: The next nine months were hell as Ash found himself constantly beaten with his wife’s lipsticks.

Death: The day their dog died was a dark day, her husband was unnaturally emotional, Misty held him and assured that all dogs go to heaven.

Rebirth: Misty held her newborn baby girl and smiled when she noticed that the baby had red hair and brown eyes. She disregarded Ash when he mentioned that the combination was not as strange as Jessie and James’s blue hair and green eyed baby boy.
