The Memories Within an Aquamarine Charizard by Aquamarine email~ aquadragon_@hotmail.com Category ~ Other Trainers (OT) Prologue A charizard flew in the tallest mountains of Hoenn, hidden but volcanic ash. It knew not what was making it move forward, only that something in its soul was calling. As it flew towards the volcano, a young girl came into view. She had long dirty-blonde hair, tan skin, and was about 5' 3". She had baggy jeans that stayed on her slim figure only because of the long black ribbon tied deftly around her. Her tight black shirt only showed how skinny she was. Around her neck was a aquamarine charizard necklace, that glowed brightly. That's what was calling her. As the dragon approached the girl looked up, her blue-green eyes flashing. The charizard stopped, puzzled. This girl had an aura about her, one that was not common among those her age. The girl opened her mouth, and the charizard heard her own language. "Why have you come?" she asked, dragon voice rasping slightly. She looked the dragon up and down, as though trying to get a secret out of her. "That jewel around your neck. Why does it call?" The charizard answered, unfazed. The strange girl cocked and eyebrow. Her eyes seemed to change shade. The charizard landed in front of her, waiting for an answer. The girl grinned slightly. "My name is Maya. This necklace has nothing to do with it, it only channels my power. I have a job for you, Sister." The girl answered, Maya, supposedly. "And what would that be?" She was curious now. "I need to find someone to help me learn more about my power. I need one such as you to assist me. Do you accept?" Maya stated. "Fine." the charizard replied. "Your name?" she asked. "I have none." the charizard said simply. "Then you shall be Shukumei." Said Maya. The girl climbed swiftly onto her and they took off. Maya watched as the mountains and ash flew past her, thinking of what was ahead. Her thoughts were interrupted by a roar from the sky. The pair looked up as a giant green dragon descended from the clouds. Hovering in midair, they stared at the beast, thoroughly dumbstruck. It saw them. It's mouth opened, and before they had time to react, a giant beam of rainbow-colored light burst through the air. Maya and Shukumei fell in separate directions, both severely hurt and unconscious. They fell into the haze of merciless cliffs and rocks. The girl hurt all over, all that was real was the pain. Darkness, blackness, pain. It was all she knew, all she remembered. The girl with dirty- blonde hair and those stunningly blue-green eyes awakened. Her eyes cracked open to sunlight. She was in a room, that smelled of chemicals and medicine. She sat up, but fell back with a blast of pain. She knew not where she was, or how she got there. And as she lay there, staring at the white ceiling she tried to remember. Into the world she whispered, "Who am I?"
