Chapter 1
       -Welcome to Littleroot Town-

As the red and white coloured moving van bounced roughly along the bumpy roads of Littleroot town, a young girl with brown hair and blue eyes, named Ruby was sitting ontop of a big, brown box filled with her mother's pots and pans.
"Why did I have to move here? I'm going to miss my friends! Surprisingly, I will miss school so much as well!" She cried out to no one, for no one was there but her. Except the boxes, but they couldn't talk to her, for they weren't real.
Soon the van suddenly stopped, throwing Ruby to the ground.
"Owwies," She exclaimed, standing up as the people of Pokemon Movers opened the metal door. Ruby ran out past them. She looked around at her new home, and the new area before her.
"It's kinda pretty here," She said quietly.
She walked inside her new home but only to be attacked by her mother.
"See, Ruby? Isn't it nice here, too? The mover's Pokemon do all the work of moving us in and cleaning up after!"
Ruby looked at the ground. "Sure is ma,"
"Oh sweetie! Go check out your room! Your father bought a clock for you!" Her mother squealed happily as Ruby walked upstairs, into her room. She set up the clock so it would read; 9 o' clock AM.
After setting up her clock her mother ran in.
"How do you like your new room, sweetie?" Her mother asked a smiled formed on her face.
"It's great mother," Ruby replied with a forced smile on her face.
"Good! Oh yeah, there's a boy around your age next to our house! Why don't you pay him a visit?" Her mother suggested before walking out.
Ruby walked out of her new room, down the stairs, across the kitchen floor and out to the door. When she finally got outside, being a klutz she bumped into a goth looking woman.
"Oh sorry about that, miss" Ruby said, standing up.
The black hair woman glared at Ruby with hatred in her dark green eyes. "You will pay for that one day young lady, you surely will," The woman said before walking away.
Ruby blinked then shrugged, then got to the neighbors house without being klutzy.  She knocked on the door, gently. A woman with brown hair answered. "Why hello there! Are you one of the new neighbors?"
"Yes ma'am. I'm Ruby." She said smiling. "May I meet your son, please?"
The woman looked at Ruby with a warm smile spread across her face. "Certainly, he's in his room. It's upstairs, you may go there.
"Thank you, miss," Ruby said walking in the house, and over to the stair case, and up it.
Brendon, a boy with white hair and brown eyes was laying on his blue sheeted bed, staring, eyes glued to the television screen.  He was watching a fierce match between Ruby's dad who is the gym leader and a female trainer with long purple hair that looked around the age of 14.
Ruby walked in tripping over Brendon's backpack.
"Owwies!" She said, not looking quite happy about her being a klutz today.
Brendon looked down at her. "Sorry for putting that there. Are you okay?"
"Just fine." She said, standing up. "I'm Ruby and you are?"
"Brendon" He said. "Welcome to Littleroot Town!"
"Thank you. Seems like a nice place here so far." She said.
" It is, actually. Nothing bad happens. Well, except when someone hurts or trips that odd lady with the black hair." Brendon says laughing.
"I bumped into her actually.." Ruby said.
"I doubt something will happen," He answered.
Ruby looked at the television, wanting to change the subject.
"That's my father on the television."
Brendon smiled nervously. "Your father is a female?"
Ruby laughed. "No, no Brendon. My father is the gym leader that girl is challenging."
"Oh, I see. So are you any good at Pokemon battles?" Brendon asked.
"Nope, never had one." Ruby answered.
As their chat continued, Ruby heard a scream for help coming from outside.
"Uh hey, Brendon I gotta go, bye!" Ruby said running out of his room, down the stairs, across the kitchen and out the door.
