My Poke'Life!

Chapter Two: And so it begins…

   The gang and I were walking down the road that was supposed to take us Zodiac 
Town. I was nibbling on straw like always and Weather was ranting about how 
friends shouldn't use each other without the other being sure of it. I was 
ignoring all this. We were almost there when I saw an adult human with purple 
hair and a lab coat sketching some Aireons. I knew this had to be the famous 
Professor Hazel so me and the gang ran up to her. She turned her head and saw 
us. She made no attempts to capture us, but to be our friends. She took out a 
green rectangle and pressed a blue square and asked, "How are little ones?" I 
was wondering if the rectangle could translate Torchicese and I said, "We are 
fine, thank you. Are you Professor Hazel?"

"One and only." Hazel replied. The gang and I knew this was our only chance to 
enter the Zodiac league so I asked, "We were wondering if, if, if…" I was too 
nervous to answer so Skyler said it for me. "If you could register us into the 
Zodiac League?" Skyler just didn't see that you couldn't just ask just like 
that. Hazel was just as shocked.

  "I've never heard of poke'mon wanting to enter the league before," Hazel said. 
This had to be it. The big rejection. "But there are no rules against it. Come 
to my lab and I'll see to it."

     We went into a large, white building that had many gadgets and had small 
poke'mon roaming around. She went to a green gadget with a screen on it. She 
pressed some white squares and a brown man in a black shirt and short hair 
appeared on the screen.

  "Yes, professor Hazel?" The man asked.

  "Mr. Touré, I know you are second president of the Zodiac league," Professor 
Hazel said quietly. "So I wanted to ask you if you could have 
these…poke'mon…registered…into…the…………league?" The gang and I jumped in front of 
the screen and said hello.

  "I have nothing against it. I've been wondering when poke'mon would want to 
battle and choose to enter the league." Yes! We were overjoyed!

  "Thank you sir." Hazel replied and turned off the screen. The gang and I were 
ready for action! Hazel led us out the door and showed us the path to Taurus 
City. She said that we should go to Gemini City first because the Taurus Gym is 
for trainers with 9 badges. Oh yes, everything was going our way. Or, so I 
thought. A poke'ball nearly hit us! Who would do that by surprise? A Human child 
with red hair jumped from the bushes. He took out yet another poke'ball and made 
another attempt to catch us! 

  "Okay gang," I called to the gang. "Attack formation alpha." The kid took out 
another ball but Skyler blew him a gust attack, Aquaturner shot a well placed 
water gun, Thunder shot a shockwave [Shock wave is an attack that releases a 
series of blue shock waves that are not electric] attack, Weather shot a weather 
ball attack, Tropic released a razor leaf attack and I blew an ember attack. The 
boy was in a condition I couldn't describe and he ran to Zodiac town, crying.

  "Yahoo," Thunder yelled. "We kick butt!"

  "That attack formation you made," Weather told me. "Was fantastic!"

  "Thanks but I couldn't have done it without you guys." I said shyly.

  "You're right," Aquaturner said. "But that ember attack was impressive."

  "It can't have been anymore impressive than your water gun." Skyler said as he 
flew around everyone.

  "Yeah," Tropic said. "But your Gust was better."

  "We all did a good job." I said loudly. "Now c'mon. We have a whole world to 
see!" We all were about to walk when a poke'ball landed in front of us. We 
looked behind us and saw a human boy with brown hair.

  "I see you hurt my brother." The boy said. "So my Keckleon and I are going to 
teach you a lesson!" Suddenly, Keckleons appeared everywhere!

  "Oh no." I said.

  "Camouflage." Skyler said. We were trapped……………….
