Ash stepped into the cave, along with Misty, Tracey and Pikachu. They were much older now. Misty had started putting her hair down a few years ago, and wore a lavender top with a white skirt. Ash, had lost the kiddy Z’s on his face quite some time ago and wore a much more professional costume. Baggy Jeans, a dark green shirt and the same red hat. It was his trademark, what could he say. Tracey had still worn the same as usual, he saw nothing wrong with his clothes.

They first glanced around to see the place empty. It was strange that such a large cave, would be with so little people as three, and the Pokemon. It appeared so strange and queer. However, along they went. They wanted to explore the cave. They wanted to see if what the people had said was right. “That Cave’s dangerous! Don’t go, we guarantee that you’ll regret it!” Ash was too stubborn to listen. And there they were inside the cave. It seemed normal so far by what they saw. Or was it?

What they didn't know, was that the people had no clue what they were talking about. The cave wasn’t the dangerous thing. It was the Golden Psyduc inside the cave that was causing all the trouble. Psyduc was Pokemon of Drafur. And Drafur was a brutally evil trainer who had always done things to kill other trainers who dare compete against him. This, was his most dangerous and cruel plan of all. But it had worked. In a year his Golden Psyduc had killed more than 2,400 people, and stolen 5,300 Pokemon. Drafur was a very clever trainer. He could have even become a master. If he had treated his Pokemon with more respect and love, instead of strict work and spells. Yes, spells. Drafur was half warlock so had the power to do a lot of things mortals lacked.

Ash and Misty saw some green shiny rocks to the side. They picked some up, wanting to take them home to Pallet to get examined at the Lab. The first Professor Oak had retired, being so old, and Gary began to train to take his place. In years to come, they discovered that being a Professor was the job made for Gary. He was now also a lot nicer to Ash, and they were good friends.

Tracey walked off with Pikachu looking for some Fossils. Awhile ago Tracey had just started telling Pikachu all about them, and about some extinct Pokemon scientists had brought to life from fossils as well. Pikachu was very interested, he had hoped to find a lot. Tracey and Pikachu were now down some muddy hallway of the Cave. Just then Tracey leaned down and found what he thought was a fossil. But once he began looking at it saw that it was a green colour with tiny golden spots. "It looks more like an egg.." Tracy began "..a Psyducs egg" Tracey was still examining it when they heard a large bang. "Piiikaaa"! The rodent cried out.

Misty didn't like this place. It wasn’t normal for a cave to be like this. The floor felt like a Platform was underneath. The Cave walls felt of a greasy, oily material. This was not right at all. "Ash, this Cave, I think the people were right" To Misty, this place seemed man made. She began to wonder why.

"I dunno, Misty" Ash spoke. "It looks fine to me," Ash, not really suspecting that the cave was man made didn’t see a reason to leave. He shrugged. "Well, let's head back just in case" she said, hoping Ash would like the idea and actually agree for once. "Well, all right." Ash said looking for Tracey and Pikachu. He turned to Misty "Where are they?" At first she didn't know what he was talking about, but soon figured it out. Misty looked around, noticing that they weren’t there "I don’t know, they probably left to go find fossils. Remember they were talking about that earlier?" She said as they both started to look around, not spotting the little yellow Rodent or Tracey anywhere. "Pikachu! Where are you?" he shouted, still no sign of Pikachu anywhere.

Ash began to scan all areas of the cave that he possibly could be. Misty shouted, “I told you that the people were right!” Ash looked at her, and the expression on his face told her exactly how he felt.

Around 25 minutes later he was still concentrating on getting Pikachu back. He didn't want to lose Pikachu, his best friend. Pikachu was always there for him. He could tell Pikachu anything on his mind, though rarely anything was. He and Misty were now running all over the rough cave, through tunnels and passageways they went. Everywhere. "Pikachu! Tracey! This is no time to play jokes!" Misty said, hoping they were trying playing a joke on them.

"We'll never find em' here" Said Ash realizing they had gone extremly far to find those fossils. They were talking about them ever since they had decided to come to the Cave. Misty nodded and they ran until their breath's began to crumble. They ran through tunnels, and cave halls, and everywhere they could. Misty couldn't believe what had happened. They had never lost each other like this. Maybe the Cave did something! She thought.

Misty was still sitting down trying to catch her breath "Ash.." Misty said stopping to catch her breath. "..Pikachu's gone, Tracey's gone! And something in this cave took them. I'm sure of that. Besides this Cave is..” She stopped catching her breathe, “..fake! Not real! Man made." Ash fell to his knees. "Pikachu..." He cried out in a soft, yet sad voice fading off slowly.

Misty put a hand on Ash's back. "We'll try everything we can to find them, Ash. But I don’t see how we can in this fake cave. Who knows who could be running it." Ash just stayed where he was. Pikachu had been taken. It took him a minute or two to realize that they couldn't and wouldn't be able to find him or Tracey. "Ash.." Misty said, trying to think of something to say.

All of the sudden iron gates closed the cave, blocking any chance of leaving. Pikachu and Tracey looked at each other with confusion. And then it happened. The Golden Psyduc faded into the inclosed area and began to attack. "PSYY!!!" What else to do but run. But where? They couldn't. They were doomed. "Pi!" The Psyduc leaped into the air and came down starting to kick the Pikachu. Pikachu electric shocked back, but it failed. The Gold on its back just reflected the attack, it hitting Pikachu. It tried again and the same thing happened "It's impossible to hurt it!" Tracey said seeing how hurt Pikachu was.

Golden Psyduc was about to use Confusion. "Pikachu! Watch out" Tracey called. "Pikachu!" It said as Tracey jumped in front of him to block the attack. "Don’t hurt Pikachu!" The Psyduc nodded and jumped up and slammed into Tracey, knocking him over. "PSYY YI YI YI!!!" The mad Psyduc continued to kick and punch Tracey. Then with one last bite on the neck Tracey fell over, his blood rushing down to the cave’s floor and dripping on Pikachu alittle. "Chu.." Pikachu sniffed. He nudged Tracey, not a sound or movement coming from him.

A light revealed in the corner as Drafur stepped down. "What do we have here" He said looking down at the Pikachu "Good job Psyduc, we'll add him to the collection..Or maybe not we aren't in need of another Pikachu. We already have a few hundred" Pikachu tried to get up, being too weak. Drafur cam and picked the Pikachu up with no hassle. He stared at it. "Ah, I know. Giovanni shall enjoy him" Pikachu moaned in pain. "Piii..kaaaa" The Psyduc nodded as the gates were opened and they started to walk back slowly to their private office in the back.

Ash and Misty were still running around when they began to spot foot prints. They started following them until they reached a big opening. Misty fell in tears at the sight and Ash just stood looking at the blood. Ash stepped in, and slowly walked toward Tracey who lay there, Dead. Misty followed him still with wet watery eyes. "Ash..If this happened to Tracey, where did they take Pikachu?" Ash shook his head "Pikachu’s still alive, he has to be" He said.

"Ah, more visitors" Said Drafur. "Psyduc, go down there and see what Pokemon they have for us" He watched the Psyduc immediately fade out, knowing where he was going. He began to throw up one of the pokeballs he had and catch it over and over again. He was bored from time to time waiting for Psyduc to get the Victims ready.

Ash turned his head around and saw the Golden Psyduc. "Mi..Mi..Misty, look behind you" He said in a whispery type of voice. And when she looked behind her, she screeched in horror. "PSY!" The Psyduc hissed getting ready to attack them. "Go Squirtle! Water Blast!" He said as Squirtle came out of his Pokeball. "Squirtle Squirt! Squiirrrrtle!!" The Psyduc stood there, as the water splashed down his sides and left his body shinning. "PSYYY YI!!!" The Psyduc screamed and began to run at Squirtle. "Squirtle watch out!" Misty cried. "Squirtle, tackle attack!" Ash said, hoping this would work. "Squirt, Squirt, Squirtle!" The Pokemon said as it began charging at the Psyduc. After hitting him he bounced back hard and was knocked out. "Return, Squirtle"

"We're not gonna beat him Ash" Misty said putting her hands in her pockets. "I might have something in here to help" She said as she watched Psyduc leap up and slam Ash to the ground "Misty, Help!" She felt something, and grasping it, she pulled it out. A smile began to widen as she knew what this thing was. The last of her four teleporters. She ran to Ash. "Let's use these"

But could they leave without finding Pikachu? It was their only choice. They would return back to get Pikachu in a matter of days anyway, with more help, wouldn't they? She decided to take the chance. After all they had saved Pikachu from things like this before.

But, she was only thinking the positive sides. She neglected to see the negatives. Since, they never saw the Pikachu again who was treated so badly with the Rockets that could never trust a human again and did the evil deeds of the team.
