Part 1: The Journey Begins

A young child laid un-consious on a watery bank somewhere along Lavender Town. His head had been bleeding and his clothes were shaggy and torn. Finally, regaining consiousness, he looked at his skin; he was bruised in many spots and there was a numerous ammount of pain. He walked slowly off of the bank and onto a dirt road. From there he walked, and walked, until he found himself infront of tons and tons of houses.

It had been sunset when he had left the bank, now it was rather dark and chilly. In the background he heard crickets chime; kids playing at night; and the smell of barbeques freshly cooked. His stomache growled. "Geez, I wonder when the last time I had food was..let me think" he couldn't find the answer, let alone any other answer, like his own name. ".Ahhh..what happened!" He curled down into a ball "I..cant." He let out a few tears. "..Cant even remember my name"

"You look like someone named Jake.." He turned around, and spotted a kid a few years younger standing next to him. "Jake was my fathers name anyway..Oh and I'm Jason" Jason, put out his hand "Nice to meet you.." Jake shoke Jason's hand. "I wish I could tell you my real name" Jason shrugged "...Jake, can I call you?" Jake nodded. "Might as well, ..my past, my life before this..I dunno about any of it."

Jason looked out at the houses around them. He looked back at his house for a second "Well..you obviously dont have a place to go tonight. Why not come to my house? Than tommorrow, we'll help you find out where ya came from." Jake shrugged. Jason had always wanted a big bother "You can stay as long as you like, even. Plus we can get you some bandages and new clothes" Jake nodded "..that sounds fine" He had a hint of sadness in his voice. But, he ended up staying in Jasons house with his mother.(Who soon was also considered Jake's mother as well) He had dreams, some flashbacks, but never really figured out who he had been. He vowed to get it back someday, somehow.

*Five Years Later*

The two teens ran out of their house on Oak Street and down two corners, for they would barely make it to school. "C'mon Jason..faster faster" Jake half-yelled in a friendly voice. "Alright, I'm coming!" they continued to run as fast as they could. Jake and Jason enjoyed looking at the early risers in the morning, as they passed by. They were usually tending to their garden or walking their dogs. Or some were even taking an early jog.

The black haired six-teen year old gingerly made his way down the streets. Jake's life was perfect. He had many friends, a great brother(even if he wasn't his real brother), he was the captain of many clubs at school, he had so much fun hanging out at arcades after school, and a beautiful girlfriend. What more could he want? There was one thing though, he had always wanted this very much. It was to have his memory of the five years lost, back up in his brain

They continued down the street, running as fast as they could. Jake was still half-teasing Jason to run faster. The two boys basically told each other everything; ever crush, every secret, every feeling. Jake even had told Jason about some of his dreams. The people in his dreams, the places, sounds, and what happened in all the dreams. There were even Pokemon in his dream; Pokemon that could never be found at Lavender Town. So, they found a conclusion to this one thing. Jake had been a Pokemon Trainer. But..why than, when Jason found him, had he no Pokemon or Pokeballs with him?

They finally turned the second corner and approached Swimmer Sans Middle/High school. This gigantic school continued eight grades, and two daycares. With a total of five floors, fourty rooms on each. Jason's classes all evolved around floor two, three below Jakes classes. But Jake spent some of his time on the lower floors as well. Like for last period, he would be on floor one down at comsumer science, baking away. He learned a lot about cooking but still wasn't that great at it.

They ran into the building just as the bell rang. "Um..this is definetely a bad thing" Jake stated rushing to his locker on the next floor "See ya later bro!" He called speeding away. Jason sighed, his locker was on the first floor a few feet away. He rushed to it grabbing needed books, stuffing his book bag in and rushing off to the second floor. "Great.." He mumbled to himself "Just great.. this ruins my "always on time" reputation" He opened the door, but to his suprise the kids in class were still fooling around; the teacher, no where to be seen.

Taking advantage of the moment, he quickly sped to his seat and piled his books under his desk. No one even noticed his late-ness. Jason turned around and started chatting with his friends, but a few moments later their chatting was interupted by the teachers entrance. The teacher had a frown on her face, which was very un-normal. Their teacher always smiled, what was different today? "Everyones attention please." She said calmly. Couldn't be anything that serious.

"My daughter, Kimmy has been kidnapped. She's only three, so couldn't of gone anywhere far. it has to be the act of a kidnapper. Police searched all over this town, they reported seeing a grey van earlier with a red "R" on it. Looks as if this is the works of Team Rocket" Jason had no idea who they were "Team Rocket?" The teacher nodded "This gang has been around for many years, they usually only stole Pokemon though. That's the problem, Police cant rightfully acuse Team Rocket without more proof. It wouldn't seem likely that they would steal a child, but I still think they did.. they had to"

"What will happen now?" A young girl asked. The teacher shrugged "..We need some vollunteers to go and search the head quarters of Team Rocket for her, but we have no idea were we'd find the rightful people" Everyone suspected her little hints right away, and soon many hands went up in the classroom. 'How perfect!' Jason thought 'I could fight in order to get that little girl back, and go on a Pokemon journey at the same time. Mom cant stop me this time. '

The teacher looked around the room, deciding on who to pick. "Over here! I'll help get your daughter back!" Jason cried, and the teacher slowly looked over. She smiled, feeling happy that so many people were willing to help. She pointed to Jason. "You," She pointed to two other boys raising there hands "Both of you guys can go help..and..one other person.." She saw a girl up-front just sitting there reading a book; not paying any attention. "And You!" She said pointing to the girl.
The girl put down her book "Me?" The teacher nodded "Yes, you and the rest of everyone else shall leave tonight, to find my daughter. And who has an older sibling that could come along?" Jason and one of the other two boys raised their hands. "Ok, Jason and Timothy, you can both bring them"

*After school that same day*

"You must be crazy! Me? Go on a journey..?" Jason nodded "Please Jake? I'm going on this mission for two reasons, one to save the daughter of course and the other to secretly start my Pokemon Journey. Without you along, I'm sure no one else would come, and I promised the teacher you would! Please! Ya gotta help a guy in need" Jake sighed.. 'The kid's thirteen..I cant believe he would still like Pokemon Training. Maybe he does because he never had been allowed to go on his own Journey'

He opened his mouth to answer "..Well, if it'll make you happy, I'll go with you" Jason started jumping up and down "YES! ALRIGHT! WAHOO!" Jake had never seen a kid act this way over Pokemon. If he ever did remember his past, he would see that he had known a kid like that all his life. 'Well let's see, what else could I do besides follow Jason on his, should we call it, Pokemon/Hero Journey? Ah well..' He put it aside. "Let's get home Jason, you've gotta lot of explaining to tell Mom" Jason eyes dropped slightly "What do ya mean me!" He said, as Jake started running towards their home, and Jason sped behind following.

"Jake! Wait up.. I cant run that fast!" Jake slowed down a bit, letting his younger sibling catch up. "C'mon Jason, you gotta run faster then that if you want to become a Pokemon Trainer" Jason caught up and stopped, trying catching his breath fast. "Cant.. breathe.. need.. oxygen..*coughcough*" Jake sighed 'at this rate, it'll take this guy years to become a trainer' He then stood, waiting for the thirteen year old to catch his breathe. "*coughcough* I'm fine now, Jake" He then began to run the rest of the way home, Jake ran slowly, right next to him.

After reaching their house Jake opened the door and let Jason in first, it was still really sunny out. He then faced the door and walked in. His mother, or atleast the only mother he ever knew, was sitting in her rocking chair rocking back and forth slowly. He heard a few sobs but it ended quickly. Jake couldn't bear to see his mother cry "Mom..we wont leave if you are in this much-" His mother interupted "No, it's time my boys. You must face the world sometime or another, I've been wrong to stop Jason's dream" Jake nodded, everything in that past sentence she had just said was true.

Jason ran into the other room, and quickly came back with different clothes on. He wore a green Jacket, blue Jeans, a Blue shirt and a red hat. "Are those your Pokemon Training clothes?" Jason nodded and took off the hat, he than threw it to Jake "That's yours.." Jake's eyebrows scrunched like he was confused. He turned the hat around a few times, and suddenly saw someone. His younger self maybe? The boy was in a strange room..he had on a Blue Jacket, Blue Jeans, and of course the red hat. "I vow to become the worlds greatest Pokemon M-"

"EARTH.. to Jake" Jason shouted, making his flashback end. Jason then pointed to the hat "Remember when I first met you? You were wearing that hat" Jake studied the hat. He then ran upstairs to go pack for the Journey. Jason followed behind "Jason..do you still have the old clothes that I was wearing when you found me?" Jason nodded and went to get them. Shortly later he came back holding three items in his hand. A black shirt, light blue Jeans, and a small blue Jacket. Jake took them from his arms and put them in his back pack.

"Are you sure you'll be alright mother?" Jake asked as he and Jason were saying there good-byes at the front gate of their house. His mother nodded "Yes Jake, I will be just fine. You need to discovor the world, and not be stuck around here, no matter how good life is. And Jake.." Jake sighed "Yes mom?" She put a hand on his shoulder "I want you to do me a favor, and protect Jason with your life. But project your own life as well. I love you both so much." She gave them a hug. And with their mothers last words in mind, they left for school, where the Journey would begin.

*School*

"Now, is everyone here?" Jason's teacher took out a check-list. "Jason, and your sibling, Jake?"
"Here" They said in unison. The teacher checked that off. "Melissa" She said as, a girl with orange hair stepped up. "Here"
"Timothy, and sibling, Duplica. And Andrew"
"Here" They all said, together. "Ok, so you're all ready to get back my daughter?" They nodded. "Here's a map, and supplies you might need. Remember, you must get to Viridian City. That's where the Rocket HQ is. And they're our number1 suspect. Good Luck!" She said leaving the six alone.

They all walked out of the school and onto the road that lie ahead. They walked in silence for a few hours until Jason finally broke it by starting a conversation with Melissa. "So..did you get to go on your Pokemon Journey?" Melissa smiled "Sure did! And it was the best..I wasn't actually a trainer though. See, I special in water Pokemon. I dunno if that's based on the fact that I grew up in Cerulean, before I moved here last month, but I've just always had a passion for water type. You been on your Pokemon Journey?"
Jason shook his head. "Wish I had, my mom wouldn't let me."
"Oh, that's too bad."

"Yeah" Jason replied. "But, I guess it wasn't so bad, I just had to wait accouple years more than you had to. Cause after this I'm traveling to Pallet to get a Trainers license. Then, I'll journey to become a Pokemon Master! So, how many Pokemon did you catch?" Melissa took out her red bag and opened it up alittle revealing four Pokeballs inside. "Only Four?" Melissa fell over, Anime style. Jake interupted there little conversation. "Uhm..just how many Pokemon do you have, Jason?" Jason sweatdropped "Um..Uhh.."
"Yeah, how many do you have? C'mon, you can tell me!" Melissa added
"None"

Melissa laughed. "And you want to be a Pokemon Master? Well Mr. Pokemon Master, welcome to reality!"
"Oh yeah? I'll become the best Pokemon Master! You just wait and see!"
"Yawn. Snore. Cough. Yawn. Yeah, whatever you say Mr. Pokemon Master" Jake watched the two fight and giggled. Somehow, he had witnessed a fight like this before. And the way Melissa had said Mr. Pokemon Master also reminded him of something.

Duplica trailed back to the three as Andrew and Timothy were now leading the group. They were also the ones with the map. "So, you guys been seduced with silence too? The guys up there are totally silenced..think they're having seconds thoughts about this Journey."

Jake smiled "Well..I thought you probably would of heard these two fighting." He said. "Unfortunetely I was noticing the silence too much to hear, so..you guys excited about this journey?"
"Very!" Melissa and Jason said together, then they looked at each other and blushed. 'Now where have I seen that before?' Jake thought. "I'm excited too, how about you..um..what's your name anyways?"

"Jake..and yours?"
"Duplica" Jake tried to remember where he hadheard that name before, but couldn't put a finger on it. "..I know I've heard that name somewhere before. But I dont remember where"
"Why not?" She asked him, but he could only sigh. "Bad cause of amnesia...I dont remember anything before being washed up on the Lavender Town Shore"
"Hmm..have anything from when you where found from your past?"
"Just..my old clothes and a hat"

He than pulled them out, and pointed to the hat on his head. She gasped. "You're..you're Ashy Boy!" She hugged him "I haven't seen you in the longest time.."
"Y-you mean, I knew you?" She then stopped hugging him to respond. "Yes, you helped get back my ditto that one time. Do you remember anything from that?" Jake could only shake his head. "Please Duplica, you have to tell me. Who was I?"

Duplica smiled "You were Ash Ketchum, from Pallet Town. And you traveled with two people. One person named Misty, one person named Brock." She stopped walking, followed by the other three as they came to a bridge. "Where'd Tim and Andrew go?" Jason asked silently as he peered down at the river. Its current was going very fast and could drown someone quite easily.

"They're probably far ahead of us wondering the same thing" Duplica said reasurringly as they proceeded across the bridge. There was a mere 50 foot drop down to the river below them. As they crossed the dark red bridge slowly, it creeked and they heard it cracking. "Ah..ah..ah" Jason began gasping aloud slowly."Get a grip of yourself Jason.." Jake said in a half-whisper. Duplica took another step further and made a whole right in the bridge.

Shocked, she quickly grabbed the side of the bridge trying to pull her foot out. Jake(who was close behind) leaped over to her foot and helped get it out. Molly was behind the rest, walking slowly. Jason had been right infront of her. She grabbed his hand..he noticed this, but didn't question her about it. Jason stepped again and a small cracks began to spread around him and Molly.

"Ahhh!!!" They screamed as more cracks were made. They then fell through the bridge, still holding hands. Duplica and Jake saw them splash down onto the water and drifting away with the current. "We've got to save them!" He yelled, about ready to jump. Duplica pulled him back "No, you can't jump, you'll be on the verge of dying as well. We need to save ourselves first, then go back for Jason and Molly."

The bridge began to crack where they were standing. They both screamed. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" They had no idea what to do..they were silent thinking. Duplica quickly interupted the silence though. "Look, Ash, or, I mean Jake-"
"No, call me Ash, it is my real name afterall"
"Ok, well this bridge is going to break and if we try we can make it to the end without before it does. Grab my hand and let's run-fast! 1..2...3...GO!" They both raced to the end of the bridge, they had about 12 feet to go.

The cracks followed them from behind. Jake looked back at them. "Dont look at the cracks, that will give us less of a chance!" She pulled him on and they kept running. Unfortuanetely, the cracks quickly gained up to them and they fell through the bridge. "Duplica, whatever happens promise me that you'll survive..!" He shouted as they hit the water being pulled apart from each other.

"I promise..Ash" She said to herself before being knocked out by the current.

Un-known to them, there had been two figures dressed in black hiding behind a tree the whole time. "Great work Frank, the fake bridge plan worked." Just as the young man had finished his sentence he heard his walkie-talkie beep. He stepped out of the trees, making sure no one but him and his partner were there, and took the walkie-talkie out off of his belt. "Code One, come in, I repeat, Code One, can you hear me?"

Keith looked at his partner in crime and pressed down the red button. "I'm here boss. Mission completed. All six of the resque team are more than likely dead by now.."
"Good Work. May I ask what you did to kill them?" Frank laughed as Keith told "Well, Miss. Chrissi, it was simple. You know the Viridian City River..there's no bridge there-"
"Ok, let's get one thing straight here Keith. I know you like me and all but don't ever and I mean this, don't *ever* call me Miss. Chrissi, again. Got that? I'm your boss, not some girl suffered to live with ordering around flirting guys"
"Well..you are single, right? How about we go out sometime.."

There was a long pause. "Chrissi?" Keith asked into the phone again. "You there?"
"Yeah, sorry..I was just thinking about something" Frank and Keith could both hear light sobbing. "Chrissi?" They had never known their boss for someone to cry. "Listen, you two just make sure those six are dead. Got that? I dont care how you did it, just as long as they aren't free, able to come and resque Kimmy. They know it's us..why else would they be headed towards Viridian?"

"We'll make sure of it, Boss" They heard Chrissi start to pace around her office. "..If there is one that is still alive, bring them back. We can have another human to experiment with." The two then heard the connection go fuzzy and knew that Chrissi had turned her walkie-talkie off. Keith then put his back in his pocket and the two began to head to where the River washed up.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

"Oh Ash, I'm so proud of you. My little boy all grown up. You're going off on your own Pokemon Journey now.." Jake looked infront of him to see a lady in her late 20's infront of him. She had brownish-red hair and was sniffling sadly. Why did he have a sudden urge to tell this person that he was a big kid now, that he could survive out there in the big World. Why?

"I packed your underwear, clothing..." She started a long list. Jake looked at the people around him and grew slightly embarassed. "Mom.." He blurted out, surprised at his own voice. It sounded high-pitched, especially for a 16 year-old. "You're embarassing me.." He tried to change the high-ness in the sound of his voice, but it just wouldn't work. 'What's happening to me?' He thought as the scene blurred out.

In came a new one. He looked down at a little yellow creature lying in his arms hurt. "Pikachu?" Jake whispered. "PIKACHU!" He shouted. "I remember you, I remember you!!!" He started jumping up and down with joy. He remembered his first Pokemon ever, the one who had dis-liked him at first, but soon gained his trust. He then remembered the little incident that caused that girl to follow him around. The girl who he had a crush on. "Misty!" He turned around to see her standing behind him, as spearows began to come from the sky.

Without thinking he jumped on the bike. "Hey my bike!" Misty shouted. "I'll give it back someday..." And with that Jake rode off with Misty's bike, for fear that his Pikachu would die. "Wait a minute.." He said aloud while riding away from the Spearow. "Why did she follow me anyways?" He road even faster until the bike fell over. The Spearow then had caught him.

There was a long pause, as if he was supposed to make a speak there, but he didn't. He just stood there facing the Spearows as they were ready to swoop down and peck him to death. He felt fury paws land on his shoulder, soon realising they were Pikachu's. Lightning then filled the sky, the Spearows getting thundershocked away. He turned back to see the back burned to a crisp. "So..that's why she was following me.." He all of a sudden heard Misty's voice "You better pay me back for that bike Ash Ketchum!" and then he heard another, as he soon realised, common remark, from Misty. "So Mr. Pokemon Master, what's your brillaint plan this time?" So that's where he had heard the Mr. Pokemon Master thing.

The scene he was in soon faded. He found himself by a river, someone holding his head to a gun. "Ash! No!" He heard Misty scream. Jake knew he had to tell her to escape. "Run Misty! Save yourself..please..dont let them get you, run! I'll get out of this some how...dont worry." Misty was about to run into Ash's arms and tell him everything..that everything meaning her true feelings for him. But the guy rammed the gun into her stomache and she backed away, hurt. "Run Misty" Ash mouthed to her as the guy took him closer to the water. Not knowing what to do, Misty ran. She ran as fast as she could to get the police. The guy started to pull the trigger and....everything went black.

Jake woke up with a jump. "AHHH!!"
He hadn't known what he was screaming at, possibly because of the shock of finally knowing some of his past. Enough to of known about two tragic events in his life. One being the loss of love, the other being the loss of Misty.
He looked around himself and saw Molly and Jason beside him. They were all on a sandy-beach and somebody approached them. It wasn't Duplica.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

She slowly opened her eyes. What she saw around her was stretchers and needles. Not the stretchers you would find in a hospital, black stretchers that had chains attached. The room was dark and the floor she lay on was damp and cold. She held her arms close and shivered. Goosebumps formed on her arms.

"Awake already?" She heard a girls voice say. Duplica became uncontrolably cold and could now feel her teeth chattering. "Well..answer!"
"W-who..a-are..y-you.." she said stuttering, this was due to the shivering. She could feel herself losing energy by the minute and leaned forward. "Who am I? Who am I! I am the boss of Team Rocket..I am Chrissi. Good too see our experiment is working.." She laughed at the end.

"W-what..?" She could barely talk now, she sounded as if she was whispering. Chrissi again laughed. "Our experiment, it seems to be working. We'll have a new member of Team Rocket in no time"
Duplica shook her head. "N-n-never.."
"As you can see it's working though..soon you'll feel moody and irritated, then that will wear off and you'll feel slightly itchy all around. Next fur will start to grow and your body will form the shape of a Tiger. You have no choice..unless somebody happens to get that antidote there for ya" She said half-way in a southern accent. Chrissi then pointed to a bottle on the ledge.

"A-Ash will s-save me..he c-could k-kick your butt a-anyday!"
"Well..Ash is it? Let's just see him try"
"He'll d-do m-more then try"
"Is that so?"
"Y-yea..h-he w-was a t-top t-trainer before.." She trailed off. "Before what?"
"N-nevermind"
"You just watch. Your friend Ash wont even make it here, and if he ever does, you'll already be in Tiger form and will follow my orders."

Duplica began to cry. "Ash...h-help m-me" Her words were squeky and low. "Stop talking like a Pikachu..that rat species doesn't deserve to be mocked by someone like you, kid"
"The n-names Duplica..d-dont r-refer t-to me as kid." Chrissi's eyes widened, but Duplica couldn't see this because she had been bending over her legs.

"Duplica? You own Imatè right?"
Duplica could only shiverly nod; she had lost her voice. "Here" Something banged against her leg. Looking up slightly she saw a big A on the cover.
She took it and sprayed it on herself. Chrissi then opened a door in back of her and walked out of the dungeon. It was so hard for her to hurt an old friend.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

"I'm Tracey..you guys looked pretty hurt so I bandaged you up and made sure there was nothing critical." Jake looked up at Tracey, he somehow seemed firmilar. "I''m Ash.." What had Duplica told him his last name was again? Ketchup was it?..No..Ketchum! That's it. "..Ketchum" he added.

Tracey sighed. "People really should stop playing jokes. What's your real name?"
"That is my real name..why?"
"It can't be..you're not.." Tracey trailed off. "Prove it"
"Umm..how?"
"You could tell me something that only the real Ash would know"
"I traveled with someone named Misty, who followed me around because of some dumb bike. I had a pikachu that didn't like Pokeballs. I..um..got shot in the head and dont know what ever happened to Misty"

"Everyone knows that.." He pulled out an old news paper from his pocket and un-folded it. "Read this" Molly rubbed her eyes as she sat up. "Huh..where are we?"
"The Viridian City beaches"
"Oh..hey Jake..what'cha reading?"
Tracey gave Jake a look. "She even said your name was Jake." He looked down at his watch. "Listen, I've got to go..if you're ever interested in finding more about Ash, since you seem to want to be like him, there's a library not far from here. See-ya" And with that he left the three without a clue of where they were.(Besides the fact that they knew they were in Viridian).

"You guys! Over here!" They heard Andrew and Timothy shout. The three ran over to them, glad to see that they were safe. "Have you guys seen Duplica?" Timothy asked. 'Duplica! That's right..' Jake thought grabbing his bag. A note slipped out.

Dear Reciever,

We are Keith and Frank. We have been sent here by our boss,Chrissi, to destroy you all! In other words, kill you. I'm sure none of you are reading this now, but what the hey we're writing it anyways incase anyone of you happens to survive the bridge incident. We have your precious Duplica...hehehe, not precious anymore. More like Ferocious. So just try and stop us now. We'll be waiting in Viridian.

T.R.
Frank & Keith

"That bridge breaking..That was them?! Those..nut-heads, when I-"
"Cool down Molly.." Jason said patting her on the back. "So, what do we do now Jake?" He added as Jake began walking North. "We go to the Team Rocket headquarters, get Kimmy back, and also free Duplica. Simple as Jam"
"And Jam's very sticky..too much Jam, I predict.." Andrew said as Timothy elbowed him. "Nun-skull..think there's too much *Jam* in *your* head..."

Jake sighed. "I don't really care *how* much Jam are in your heads, let's go, we have to resque those two"
The other four nodded as they headed up, off the beach.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Chrissi stepped back into the Dungeon, to see a now warm Duplica looking at her. "Why did you give me the antidote? And why did you bring me here in the first place?"
"I gave you the antidote because I couldn't let someone I once knew suffer.."
"What are you talking-"
"And I brought you here, actually by coincidence. See, that bridge accident wasn't any accident, my agents added that broken bridge there, and I told them to bring back the survivors.."
"You mean.."
"That's right..all the rest of your little friends..dead"

Duplica slammed hard against the cell. "Uhhhh!" She screamed "How could you..they were my friends!" She broke down crying. Not just because of this, but because of the tiger thing, because this person claimed to be her friend, because she was trapped here. "I guess you wouldn't know what a friend is..you probably never had any" She whispered..loud enough for Chrissi to hear. Duplica's eyes were red as she stared down Chrissi.

"I had friends once. Lots. And I had two best friends..you know where they are now?" Duplica didn't respond. "Dead! Dead because of this very organization..And I had to watch and experience both of their deaths"

"But, if this is the team that caused their deaths, why'd you join it?"
Chrissi gave an evil laugh. "Why? ..I'll tell you why." She cleared her throat. "Right when my last friend was murdered I vowed myself to avenge my friends. Avenge them I did, I joined Team Rocket hoping to someday get enough people to over rule the current leader, Giovanni, himself. That worked like a charm, and then, once I finally had rule, I wanted to watch regular everyday people see what it feels like to lose a friend, and even worse, lose someone that you liked even more then a friend. So I started the experiment thing and the kidnappings with every agent of Team Rocket I had."

"So..you killed my friends, just to see me in pain?!!..Well let me tell you something! Team Rocket has already caused me enough pain..YOU took away my ditto..I got to watch him die already! So I didn't need to know that my only brother in the world, only relative, was dead. I didn't need to know that Ash and Jason were dead. I didn't even need to know that Andrew or Molly were dead, even though I barely knew them. And killing Ash..he doesn't even know who he was.."

"And what's that supposed to mean? We dont go around asking victims before their deaths if they know who they were" She laughed, expecting duplica to laugh as well, but saw her frown had only increased. "If I wasn't in these bars I'd punch you.."
"Well you're in the bars, huh? So looks like you wont be punching anyone today-Or ever" Duplica stared at Chrissi with a big frown on her face. "What's the matter, Duplica, you always used to smile"

"Who are you? What's the real reason you brought me here, and why did you kill my friends!" Chrissi smirked. "I already gave you the true reasons to two of those Questions. But since I never told you who I was I might as well tell you the truth...Everyone now-a-days know me as Chrissi, the leader of Team Rocket. But you would probably know me as Misty Waterflower..the x-gym leader of Cerulean. Those days were up long, long ago"

"Misty? But..uhh.." She paused for a minute. "Ok! Misty tell me the name of the last one of your friends that was killed" Misty didn't respond. "That's personal" She shouted. "Well..actually it isn't when you just had him killed by one of your own agents."

Misty looked confused. "Huh?"
"One of your agents just killed him. You know..remember him?"
She kept quiet.
"I think it would be ok if I said..your secret crush. Ash Ketchum, the guy supposively killed four years ago, but wait! I heard from you that he was killed just today by your two agents. The sad news is he died not knowing who *you* were, Misty"

"What in the world are you talking about?" It was Duplica's turn to laugh. "Seems Ashy boy survived the gun-shot, some kid named Jason found him and gave him the name Jake, since Ash didn't know who he was. And "Jake" lived four years there until *you* kidnapped Kimmy, and her mother sent us out to find her."

Misty was silent. "A Lie. All of it" "It's not a lie. You're just too stubborn to realise that..and now Ashy boy is really dead. You killed him. YOU DID!" Duplica couldn't go on anymore, she broke down in sobs. The only friends she had were all dead. The only Brother she had, dead. She could make out a few last words. "Now..you'll have to live in guilt for the rest of your life...you killed your own Friend" Misty could feel tears streaming down her cheeks, but she didn't feel the need to cry. The tears just came. She turned her back to Duplica and walked to the door. She opened it and walked out, slamming the door. Duplica didn't know what to do now. She heard some noises from the back of the Cell she was in. She wasn't alone. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Jake and everyone else walked around the City trying to find the Head Quartors. "It's gotta be around here somewhere.." Molly whispered silently. "..Then again, maybe not, we've looked everywhere. Maybe the police were wrong about the HQ being in Viridian.." Jake nodded. "Could be..but we're bound to find some clues here. I think we should stop looking for now, let's head to the Police Station to report what's happened so far" The four others nodded as they made their way to the City. When they entered the Police Station they saw Officer Jenny talking to a Nurse. "Oh Dear.." They could tell Jenny was trying to hold back tears. "What's wrong?" Jason asked, frowning. Officer Jenny didn't respond. The Nurse Joy looked at the five. Another Officer came over to the group. "Can I help you five?" They nodded. "Yes, we're here from Lavender Town. We were chosen to find and resque a young kid named Kimmy. We thought we'd come here to report what's happened so far" After Molly said that, the Joy, hearing this spoke up. "Another kidnapping from Lavender..that's the fifth report this month." "We weren't exactly reporting that..we wanted to report everything that we've found out. And maybe you could help us find the Rocket's HQ" Molly implied. There was a moment of silence. "Well, tell us already" The Officer Jenny said impatiently. "Alright..well we've found two of the many Rockets who are setting traps around the Viridian City River. We think that they were the same people that kidnapped Kimmy, and Duplica" "Who's Duplica?" The Joy asked. "The Sixth one of us" Jake responded. "You mean to tell me the person that sent you to find Kimmy sent all six of you? Six? For only one person..?" They could only nod. Joy leaned towards Jenny to whisper something in her ear. "I think we found the kids for the Job"
