¡§Ah¡K. I wouldn¡¦t say lost exactly, we are just wandering around aimlessly.¡¨ Ash responded.
*WHAM* Misty had just whacked Ash¡¦s head with her trusty mallet. ¡§Owowowowow¡K.. When will you lose that damn thing!?¡¨
¡§Never, it¡¦s for whacking dense idiots like you getting us lost all the time!¡¨
¡§I¡¦m not dense!¡¨
¡§Yes you are!¡¨
¡§AM NOT!¡¨

¡§Argh! Pikachu can you stop those two from arguing? I¡¦m getting a headache¡¨ Brock said, apparently annoyed with them fighting all the time.

¡§PIKA CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUU¡¨ Pikachu released a thunderbolt hitting Ash and Misty.
¡§Hey what¡¦s the big idea Pikachu?¡¨
¡§Chuu pika pi chu! (You guys are annoying that¡¦s why!)¡¨
Just when Ash was about to respond, a young girl around the age of 15 with dark green hair that goes a bit past her shoulders and light green eyes that resembles the color of a emerald gem, walked towards them. She looked stunning to Ash.
¡§Hi, my name is Anastasia Ichigo, would any of you want to battle me?¡¨ she asked.
¡§I would, my name is Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town.¡¨ Ash said while blushing.
¡§Hello, my name is Brock Slate from Pewter City.¡¨ Brock said normally, he¡¦s not interested in younger girls.
¡§And I¡¦m Misty Waterflower from Cerulean City.¡¨ With pure jealousy evidence in her voice.
¡§Alright, this is a one on one battle with no time limits, Ash against Anastasia. Let the battle begin!¡¨ Brock announced.
Ash chose Pikachu and Anastasia used Growlithe. The battled had ended pretty quickly after a quick attack and a thunder attack from Pikachu. Growlithe was already taken a lot of damage from the quick attack, the thunder had just finished it off in a matter of seconds.
¡§Growlithe is unable to battle, victory goes to Ash Ketchum!¡¨ Brock announced.
¡§Alright! Great job Pikachu!¡¨ Ash said.
¡§Pi! (Thanks)¡¨
Anastasia began crying and sniffed ¡§How could we lose!? I thought we were tough¡K¡¨
¡§Anastasia that was a great battle, you are a really good trainer but you just need more training.¡¨ Ash replied trying to make her feel better.
Anastasia looked up at Ash and smiled ¡§Thanks Ash! Your soooooooooo cute, there¡¦s a ball tomorrow in the Vari city. I was hoping you would go with me.¡¨
¡§I would love to!¡¨ Ash said.
¡§Sure, I¡¦ll take you to the there right now! It¡¦s not that far away.¡¨
¡§That¡¦ll be great! Thanks Anastasia, you¡¦re the best.¡¨
¡§Your welcome¡¨ Anastasia replied happily.
Meanwhile Misty just looked at Ash and Anastasia ¡¥They seem to get along well. At least better than me and him¡K.. What was I ever thinking, he would never love me the way I love him¡K¡K. I¡¦m just a nobody¡K¡K He even agreed to go to the ball with her without second thoughts¡K¡K¡¦ Tears were forming in her eyes that were threatening to drop any moment. She quickly turned around to wipe them with her free hand.
¡§Toge? (Mommy?)¡¨ The baby Pokemon asked.
¡§I¡¦m okay Togepi, let¡¦s catch up to them before they get too far ahead¡K¡K¡¨ Misty replied.
And with that she ran after them.
