Elements By: Ash’s twin sister 1 She was running. A girl around 13 with a red and white Pokemon League hat on her long black hair, chocolate brown eyes, a determined look on her tired face. She wore a blue and white over shirt with no sleeves over her black cutoff T-shirt and black finger-less gloves. She had a tired Pikachu on her shoulder looking for the enemies chasing her and her friend the human. The forest was thick and very tiring to run in, but the girl had to get away from the nightmare of Team Rocket. She tripped on a tree root of a big oak in the middle of the forest sending her and her Pikachu sprawling. The girl just laid there panting, listening to the sounds of the forest with highly trained ears. Silence, no humans, no cars so she figured she was safe for the moment. After she finished panting, she got up and climbed the big oak with her Pikachu on her hat. Once they were up at the top they saw a town west of them. The girl’s first thought she would hide there, then thought better of it. Team Rocket would obviously be searching for her there, so she would go east at daybreak. She told this to her Pikachu, who also thought it a good idea also. They got onto a bigger branch to wait for daybreak. “Knowing my father he’ll stop at nothing to get us back. Me being his most talented assassin and all. He definitely wouldn’t want to waste all those years of training on me,” she said, talking softly to keep herself and her Pikachu awake, but not to alert enemies to where they were. She sighed “I mean, we managed to get away today, but what about tomorrow, or the day after that, we may not be so luck next time.” “Your right,” said the Pikachu in the Pika tongue. “Get some sleep Pika-gal, I’ll take first watch. *sigh* Its going to be a long night” * * * * They started to move east at daybreak as planned, moving stealthily. The girl stepped on a noise trap, a pile of sticks that make a loud cracking noise when stepped on. Realizing what she did she cursed herself and started running, Pika-gal right behind her. She heard human boots following her and also a tranquilizer dart going past her ear. She grinned to herself as she thought ‘so they think they can catch me, well think again losers.’ They gave chase for about ten more minutes, then they started to slow while she was at the same pace as when she started. She looked back to see if any were still following her and unexpectedly broke onto a path and into a boy. The boy was around her age with spiky brown hair, green eyes, and was wearing a long sleeved purple shirt, but what caught her attention was a yin yang symbol hanging on his neck. Then she realized what an awkward position they were in and started to blush a little. They were staring at each other for five seconds with her on top of him, when they heard a voice saying, “Sir, it looks like she has a little friend.” “Ah, great,” she said. Getting up really fast she said, “I’m really sorry but it looks like you’re involved and we need to move.” She grabbed his hand, helped him up and started running. After a while the shock of her running into him was wearing off and he asked, “Who are you?” “I’m Sara,” she said, “and you are?” “Gary.” Sara stopped in her tracks making Pika-gal bump into her. “Gary Oak?” she asked. “Yeah, how do you know....” “Your name,” she said cutting him off, “and picture are on Team Rocket’s ‘Most Dangerous’ List. Your 2nd on it actually probably now 3rd because of me.” “What!” While they were talking, they were surrounded secretly by Rockets who now came up from the shadows. “Sis, it’s best not to spill T.R.’s secrets and where do you think your going?” said a tall one that looked like the leader. “Far away from here Mikey and I’ll say whatever I want to say,” she retorted. “Well if you come back I’m sure Dad won’t make the punishment too painful, especially if you bring your friend,” he said sweetly. “Sounds lovely, but not on your life Mike,” she said just as sweetly. Then she felt her right palm throb with pain. Looking down at it she saw a small swirling purple hole in the ground and it was getting bigger by the second. Thinking fast she grabbed Gary’s hand, faced Mike, and said, “Come Pika-gal, be sure to tell Dad I said bye Mikey.” Then she jumped into the hole which was fairly big dragging Gary and Pika-gal with her.
