Chapter Five
						The Big Surprise


So they go in the house and turn on the lights and everybody jumped out even 
the guy that owned the truck and said, 

	"Hi Ash its been awhile," Ash looked at him and started crying and 
said, 

	"Oh my god mom, how... when... how did you find him?" she said, 

	"Well he came over looking for you when you were at the hospital and 
here he is and he came to give you a gift for the wedding... Himself" for 
you." 

	“Wait, hold on a sec mom you told me he left for a journey and you two 
had a fight and never heard from him again, that he had died in a 
construction site.” he said.

	“No I’m still alive but I do have to tell a girl named misty something 
who ever she is or where she’s at.” his dad said.

	“Umm…that would be now Mr. Ketchum is there a problem?” Misty came up 
and asked.

	“Yeah and I just waited to tell you that I’m very sorry to tell you 
this but a few years ago I was in construction and I was working with your 
dad and that’s when it happened, the dam collapsed and he was inside, I went 
in looking for him and when I found him he told me to deliver this message to 
the gym in your city. So I traveled from Japan to your city and when I got 
there your sisters told me you would be at your friend Ash’s house and so I 
came here and here you are, so sorry that it happened he was my best friend 
and knew we knew each other since we were kids and that’s the story and I’m 
sorry that it happened.

	“Oh…well…I’ve never heard the story like that my sisters would always 
tell me something different and they have never been the story like yours was 
thanks for telling me and now if you will excuse me.” as she run upstairs 
crying.

	“Aww man I better go check on her, here hold the baby dad…” Ash said 
after he was interrupted.

	“No honey, I’ll check on her it would be better I can make it a girl 
talk and it would calm her down a lot faster and easier.” Anibelle said as 
she set the baby down and went to find Misty.

A few minutes later they came down with Misty still crying a bit and puffy 
eyes and Anibelle right behind her. 

	“Feeling better Misty?” Steven asked.

	“Yeah and thank you Mr. Ketchum for telling me the real story and not 
lying to me about my dad like my sisters did.” she said as she gave him a 
hug.

So a few hours past and the party was over and everybody had left, then Ash 
and Steven went for a ride and Ash said, 

	“Dad I want you to move in with us and to be with the family to be 
around the kids as they grew up so they knew they had parents and 
grandparents that cared for them.”

	“So What your telling me is that you want me to move in with you and 
everybody else? Well I would love two on two conditions: 1. I want to know 
that your mom and you wife will let me and 2. I will need some help with my 
stuff.” he said laughing. 

 So when they got back Ash went up to Anibelle and asked her,

	“You wouldn’t care if my dad moved in with us would you?”

	“No not at all, in fact that would be a good idea so he can be around 
the kids as they grow up.” she said.

	“Yeah that’s what I told him and he said he would only move in if it 
was ok with you and my mom.”

	“Well you know its ok with me Ash hon and Anibelle said it was ok with 
her so of course he can stay go get him so we all can talk about it.” his mom 
said ease dropping. 

	“Well you heard her go get him in here so he can be apart of the 
family.” Anibelle said.


So it was decided and Steven watched his two grandkids grow up being 
successful at everything they did then when they turned ten they went out on 
there journey together as a twin team and came back a few years later they 
came back to your parents house the grand masters of pokemon of there own 
different types of pokemon.
