Blue Shadow & Red Inferno

Aspendragon

Part 3

Traveling to Yellow Fork Town, Rynn and Crispin run into an ariados controlled by Black Magic! Obviously spell-casted by the witch that cursed both morphs. Now, there at Matilda’s cabin with a shivering Crispin, sleeping Rynn and Matilda, and a waking ariados.

"Oh great, where am I?" The ariados said, he got to his feet and looked around. He spotted Rynn and crept closer to her. "Hello!" Rynn jumped, her ears picked up the high voice and she sat up.

"Oh, hello there Ariados, great to see you better." Rynn said to him.

"My name is Gizmo," The ariados said, "Anyway, where am I and how did I end up here?"

"We found er…you being controlled by someone and er…healed you here," Rynn said, trying not to scare the pokemon. Gizmo bowed.

"Thank you, but I remember someone before I met you, she was VERY old and wore black. She also had an umbreon too," Gizmo said.

"The witch!" Rynn gasped. She heard Crispin mumbling again. "He he, poor Crispin, he’s freezing outside." Gizmo cocked his head.

"Why is he outside, doesn’t he know these parts are below freezing at night?" Gizmo asked.

"Before he didn’t," Rynn answered. The hoothoots and murkrows slept soundly on the shelves. Matilda was asleep on her futon next to them.

"Oh no…" Gizmo muttered.

"What?" Matilda sat up quickly. That’s when Rynn heard it too. The sound of a witch!

"The thing is here! Warn Yellow Fork my dears!" Matilda told her birds. They nodded and flew out the window. Matilda began making potions, or so it seemed.

"What is she doing here?" Rynn asked.

"Most likely she after you!" Matilda said, "Hurry and get Crispin inside! I’m making a warding spell," Gizmo walked outside with Rynn.

"Crispin! Come inside! Matilda said the witch is coming!" Rynn shouted up to him. He greatly accepted, but half of him wanted to destroy the witch and stay outside to fight.

"Come on! Gizmo is going to use Spider Web to keep her off the cabin and Matilda is making a warding spell!" Rynn explained.

"I have my claws, fangs, and my Dark powers!" he shouted at her.

"It doesn’t matter! Your not that powerful yet!" Rynn said. Crispin growled as he landed on the ground and went inside, Gizmo made a web around the cabin and followed them in. At the same time, Matilda was laying green, glowing powder next to the web outside.

"That should hold her off till you discover that power that’s inside of you," Matilda said as she closed the door.

"What power?" Rynn asked.

"You haven’t noticed the large amount of dark energy sprouting from him?" Matilda asked. They both shook their heads. "It seems that’s how the witch has been tracking you, your body is probably awakening a power that took some time to develop."

"Like nine hundred years?"

"Precisely," she said.

"You mean, his body predicted what would happen in the future and was getting prepared?" Rynn asked. Matilda nodded.

"Yet, that isn’t the only power I’m afraid, dark powers is limitless, some are painful, others are just full of suspense," Matilda told Crispin. His eyes widened. This first awakening took that long. How much longer would the next and the one after would take?

"But heed my warning, your powers will come as a surprise, NEVER get too cocky, or it’ll lead you to anger then to…"

"Then to what?" Rynn asked.

"I don’t know, but legend says that you’ll never be the same…" Matilda finished.

"Buhahahaha!" The witch cackled, "Your web and spell will not work for long, as long as I have the Power of Morphing and Immortality, I’m unstoppable! Hahaha!" Rynn shook with fear, Gizmo was petrified. Crispin closed his eyes and folded his arms. Matilda looked at the ceiling. The cackling decreased she was gone for the moment.

"You must hurry onto Yellow Fork tomorrow morning. That is where your journey will begin, you may visit my cabin anytime. My birds have already told them of your arrival," Matilda said.

"Can I travel along with you two, I owe you a big thanks anyway," Gizmo asked. Rynn smiled and nodded. Crispin growled.

"I’ll sleep on this darn floor tonight, better then outside…" Crispin growled. Matilda laughed as they went back to sleep. This time, Crispin didn’t mumble.
