[POKEMON-Golden Sun Series Screen Name-Aspendragon *This part will have a bit of flower blood in it, but it won’t be major* Part Four-First Battle for Squall *Pokemon Theme* Last time, Coco Tradet and Squall Togoroti left Pallet Town to began their journey, the question is, where on earth are they? “Are you sure you know where we’re going?” Squall asked, Coco nodded. “Sure I’m sure,” she answered, than she set Peppermint on the ground, “could you check please?” Squall fell. “Pika,” she said as she bent down and sniffed. “Pikachu!” she squealed, running to the right, the two pokemon trainers ran after her. “Wait up Pep!” Coco yelled, she stopped, and waited. “Are we there yet?” said a panting Squall, who stopped next to Coco. “Yep, look up,” Coco said, he did. “I think I’ve been to Viridian enough times in a row to get bored with it,” Coco said, Squall nodded in agreement. “Pikachu!”(Viridian!) Peppermint squealed. “Yes Pepper, this is Viridian City, and before you know it. You’ll know every city in Kanto,” Coco said, Peppermint squealed again, as she ran down towards the city. Coco and Squall, yet again followed her down. “Do you think we should stop by the Pokemon Center before we head towards the Viridian Forest?” Squall asked, Coco nodded. “Yes, because I need Nurse Joy to upgrade my Poke’Dex, I got a charmander now. Remember?” she chuckled, Squall sighed. “Pika!”(I remember!) Peppermint cried, jumping onto Coco’s shoulder. “Good for you Pep,” Coco said, patting Peppermint on the head. “Yeah whatever,” Squall growled, “race ya!” he yelled suddenly, running towards the city, Coco laughed as she ran after him. What they didn’t notice was that a storm was coming, the sky was already loaded with dark, heavy clouds. “I can’t believe how fast that storm came in!” Squall said, as he shook loose water from his brown, long hair. “I can’t believe it either,” Coco said in agreement as she took off her vest and twisted it dry. And at the same time, they were both soaked all over again when Peppermint shook her whole body. “Thanks a lot Pepper,” Squall growled, Peppermint turned the color red and squealed a bit. “Good thing I didn’t let Firestorm out,” Coco said, changing the subject, Squall agreed silently. “Pikachu?”(Doesn’t Firestorm ring a bell?) Peppermint asked. “Oh yeah, your right,” Coco said with a start as she ran over to the counter, and handed Nurse Joy her Poke’Dex. “Hmmm, Badges zero, Pokemon two, Charmander and Pikachu named Firestorm and Peppermint,” Nurse Joy said, than she pulled the Poke’Dex out of the computer and handed it to Coco, “Have a nice day,”. “Thank you,” Coco said, rejoining Squall, and Peppermint jumped on her shoulder. BOOM! CRACK! Flash! BOOM! CRACK! Flash! The storm roared and flashed, the two pokemon trainers stared outside. More people ran into the Pokemon Center. One, whom Coco has never seen before came up to Squall. “Hey, do want to battle?” he asked, he had blue hair and brown eyes. He also wore knee-cut jeans, an orange and green shirt, and wore a bandanna around his head, under his hair and over his eyebrows. Squall grinned. “Sure, the name’s Squall,” Squall said, the boy said his name was Cid. “We can battle over there!” Cid said running to the right of a battlefeild, everyone in the Pokemon Center turned there attention to the upcoming battle and crowded around to watch, Coco was stuck in the back, hopelessly trying to reach the front, than gave up and searched for a bench to stand on. Meanwhile, Squall went to the left side of the field, a referee came to the middle, but side of the field. “Each trainer may use only one pokemon, use as many items as you wish, BEGAN!” The referee shouted, Cid threw his poke’ball first. “Go! Smokey!” he yelled, releasing a black ball pokemon with purple gas around it, Coco, finally found a bench to stand on, pulled out her poke’dex. “Gastly, the Gas/Ghost Pokemon,” ‘Dexter’ the poke’dex beeped, “no further data,”. Coco sighed and put Dexter away and watched the battle. Interested, Peppermint watched as well. Who’s that Pokemon? This pokemon will bite anyone that tries to enter its territory! Answer: Growlithe! “Go! Fruity!” Squall yelled, releasing his bellsprout, people all around started judging the tiny plant, Coco heard a few, ‘That plant has no chance against a ghost pokemon,’. ‘I’d like to see that thing try to escape its Hypnosis Attack,’ another said, Coco swore under her breath, but Peppermint stared at the battle. “Fruity Vine Whip now!” Squall ordered. Fruity nodded. “Belll!” Fruity cried, throwing her single vine out towards the gas pokemon. “Dodge it than sneak up from behind it!” Cid commanded. “Gassssss!” Smokey laughed as it dodged the Vine Whip and disappeared and reappeared behind Fruity. “Now! Bite Attack!” Cid shouted, Smokey bit into Fruity’s left leafarm. “Bellsprout!” she cried as green blood oozed from the small wound. “Don’t give in! Now use your Vine Whip again but this time wrap it around up and down that ghost’s body!” Squall ordered again. “Bellllsprout!” Fruity cried as she used her single vine and wrapped it around Smokey, but up and down, the result, now Smokey couldn’t open its mouth! “Now send it flyin’!” Squall yelled. “Sprooouut!” Fruity spun it around countless times than flung it, the ghost pokemon bounced off the wall, ceiling, and floor and finally stopped in midair, it fainted. “Gastly is unable to battle, this match goes to Bellsprout!” the referee shouted, the crowd gasped and murmured, squall hurried over to Fruity and ran her over to Nurse Joy, Coco caught up with him when Nurse Joy already taken Fruity into the ER. “That was an impressive battle,” she said with a wink. “Yeah, sure,” he said without hesitation, this brought Coco’s temper up. “You know! I was just complimenting you!” Coco said, the room was extremely noisy, so no one heard Coco’s cries. “S-sorry!” he said immediately, as he turned back to the counter, where Fruity was given back to him, and he returned her to her poke’ball and went back over to Coco. “Look, I’m really sorry,” he said again, before going off to get more challengers, Coco sniffed a bit as she went to get some of her own challenges. “This match will be two-on-two battle, the round will end when a pokemon is unable to battle! BEGAN!” the girl referee shouted, everyone crowned around the battlefield. “Go! Firestorm!” Coco yelled, throwing Firestorm’s ball. “Go! Rascal!” a boy named Zack shouted, releasing a purple rat. Coco yet again pulled out Dexter. “Ratatta, the Rat/Normal Pokemon,” Dexter beeped, “This pokemon has vicious bite attacks like Hyper and Super Fang, and they are also fast,” than Coco put away the Poke’dex and stared at her opponent. “Firestorm! Ember Attack now!” Coco commanded. The ratatta glared evilly at the orange fire lizard. To be continued…
