Part Six-

	“I already told you, I went to the Pokemon Center, Firestorm and Peppermint are fully healed and
are back to normal, I even got a free check up myself,” Coco said, but Squall was still asking questions.
	“Then exactly how did Firestorm awaken and overcome her illness when she could barely open
her own eyes?” Squall asked, Coco growled at him.
	“How in the world should I know!” she yelled, Peppermint jumped to the ground and walked
beside her master.
	“Well…” he mumbled, then just looked at the ground, Coco looked at him. He was probroly
making her feel guilty on purpose.
	“Were you planning on catching any pokemon in the Viridian Forest?” he asked quickly. Coco
asked what kind of pokemon were in there.
	“Bug types,” he said, “and sometimes, if you’re lucky, you’ll see a pikachu or two,”.
	“Well, I already have a pikachu and I don’t need a bug on my team,” Coco said, Squall sneered.
	“Are you scared of tiny, harmless, cardboard-eating bugs?” squall joked, Coco looked at him with
a stern look. He looked away.
	‘Man, how could I be so immature!’ Squall thought to himself, he pounded his fist into his head.
	“Hey! You wanna battle!” a girl with waist-long, straight, turquoise hair that looked no older than
eight popped out of the bushes, she wore a pink shirt with a poke’ball on the chest, she also wore skin-tight
blue jeans. She was also carrying a small green backpack.
	“Wait a minute, aren’t you a bit young to be on a pokemon journey?” Coco asked, putting her
hands on her hips and staring down at the young girl, Squall looked down also, crossing his arms.
	“NO! I’m not! I’m exactly the right age!” she yelled, “which one of you want to battle?” she asked
again.
	“I’ll battle you,” Coco said, still completely confused.
	“All right! I choose you! Honey!” the girl yelled.
	“Who’s that?” Coco asked, but she soon found the answer.
	“Eevee!” a small, dog-like brown pokemon, Coco pulled out Dexter.
	“Eevee, the Evolution pokemon,” Dexter beeped, “This pokemon wanders deep in forests, they
also live alone,” Coco put Dexter back in it’s place, then she sent Peppermint into battle.
	“This is a one-on-one battle, Honey versus Peppermint, BEGAN!” Squall shouted, being the
referee.
	“Honey! Tackle!” the girl cried, Honey the eevee nodded and shot forward towards the pikachu.
	“Dodge it Peppermint then use Thundershock!” Coco ordered.
	“Pika!” Peppermint cried, as she dodged the attack then sent a Thundershock towards the eevee. It
hit.
	“Eeevvvv!” Honey cried as she landed on the ground, she fainted. Squall called the match to
Coco.
	“You did your best Honey girl,” the girl cried as she pulled out a potion and healed her pokemon,
Honey perked up and ran to the girl and cuddled up in her arms, as the girl stood up Coco and Squall came
over to her.
	“Out of curiosity, why are out here and have a pokemon?” Squall asked, the girl looked up at him,
then looked down at Honey.
	“For my freedom,” she whispered.
	“YOUR FREEDOM!” Coco and Squall said together, she nodded. She was trying to hold back
tears, Coco bent down to be at her level.
	“Why don’t we take a break Squall, so we can hear her out,” Coco said to Squall, he nodded and
looked at his map and pointed to the left of the trail, the two girls followed him to a small clearing.
	“Come on out Firestorm!”
	“You too Fruity!” they both yelled, throwing their poke’balls.
	While the four pokemon played, Squall and Coco listened to the girl.
	She said her name was Bayline Silverson and always dreamed on becoming a pokemon trainer
like Squall and Coco. They nodded; they too dreamed all their life on becoming a pokemon trainer.
	“So, why did you say ‘your freedom’ back there?” Coco asked. Bayline said she came from a rich
family, both her parents were billionaires and owned the largest house called Silver Moon Manor, she also
had three older brothers and two older sisters. The parents, Sophia and Roger Silverson never cared about
Bayline. For she did not wish to be rich, she just wanted to roam the countryside. Her brothers, Rodku,
Edgar, and Jombi always teased her and sometimes threatened to beat her up at a time or two. Her older
two sisters, Rachelina and Silvera were bratty and were snobbish. They always told her she would never do
anything right if she kept on thinking about pokemon. With Honey, an abandoned eevee cub that she raised
by herself in secret packed her bags and ran away.
	“That was why I challenged you, to strengthen Honey so we could fend for ourselves,” Bayline
cried, Coco put a hand on her shoulder.
	“Don’t worry, you can accompany us on our journey, we’re now going to Pewter City,” Coco
said, Squall hesitated, than agreed. Bayline smiled.
	
	‘Thanks a lot Moyia,’ Firestorm thanked, in his dream.
	‘Your welcome,’ Moyia said back, ‘but there’s something I’m happy about you talking to me yet
again, its about your new friend Bayline Silverson,’ Moyia said, in a deep tone. Firestorm told her to go
on.
	‘Well, you know they call their house Silver Moon Manor, well, there’s a meaning to why it was
called that,’ she said.
	‘What do you mean?’ Firestorm asked, she continued.
	‘That family has one bad reputation, but I’m not sure on what it is, but I know one thing, stay
clear from that house every full moon and stay clear of Bayline too, but only during full moons. Which
reminds me, isn’t there a full moon tonight,’ she said as her voice faded and Firestorm woke up.

This pokemon has smaller poison barbs then the opposite gender.

Nidoran Female

	“Here we are, Viridian Forest,” Squall announced. The three of them, including Peppermint on
Coco’s shoulder stood in front of a dense forest. They could see that almost every tree they could see had
vines wrapped around it or had bright, green moss at the trees’ bases. Mainly, there was no trail, since it
was overgrown by tall, brown grass and mud. So, they had to climb through it.
	“Do you think our pokemon could help?” Bayline asked.
	“Well, Fruity could help with her Razor Leaf, but Peppermint and Honey can’t chew through such
thickness, but Firestorm would be great, she could use her Scratch Attack, but no fire attacks because I
don’t want to be responsible for a forest fire,” Squall explained. Coco agreed along with them.
	“Come on out Fruity!” Squall yelled, releasing his mini flycatcher.
	“You too Firestorm!” Coco shouted, throwing her orange lizard’s ball.
	“Char char!” Firestorm cried.
	“Bellsprout!” Fruity cried.
	“All right gals! Firestorm Scratch those vines into two!” Coco commanded.
	“Fruity! Use your new attack Razor Leaf to help Firestorm get rid of those vine now!” Squall
ordered. The two pokemon went to work right away. With a ‘Snap!’ each pokemon went to another vine
and snapped them in half. As the pokemon went deeper into the forest, the trio followed Firestorm’s
flaming tail. So far, it was dark, due to the overgrowth of vines, branches, and thick vegetation above them.
	“Exactly, how long does it take to walk through the Viridian forest?” Bayline asked, Squall looked
at the map again.
	“By foot, it should take today and tomorrow,” he answered, Coco turned blue. Squall saw this and
laughed out loud.
	“COCO TRADET’S AFRAID OF BUGS! COC-” Squall sang until Coco grabbed his ear and
yanked it back. When she let go, he rubbed his ear and then continued following Firestorm’s tail, with a
nervous face. Bayline giggled.
	“Charrrrrmander!” Firestorm cried, they ran towards them, but they stopped when the door of
vines and plants crumbled to the ground. Firestorm and Fruity stared at the other side; the other four stared
too. A small clearing with sunlight, fresh, short grass, a small water spring, and trees surrounding it. The
small group entered it, and looked around. They could see water plants at the bottom of the spring, they
also couldn’t help but see the most, beautiful flowers they have ever seen before that grew around a hollow
oak tree with a hole in the middle. There were thornless red and white roses, pansies, daisies, petunias, and
tulips.
	“Look!” Bayline said quietly, pointing towards the spring. A small caterpillar edging towards the
spring, it wasn’t even flinching as it entered the small clearing.
“It’s a caterpie, it’s probroly so safe here that they don’t have to worry about anything,” Squall explained,
Coco didn’t bother pulling out her poke’dex, everyone knew about caterpie.
	“Oh wow!” Bayline yelped as she ran out of the berry bushes she was behind. Squall and Coco
watched as Bayline threw Honey’s poke’ball.
	“Let’s catch this caterpie, all right Honey!” Bayline shouted with excitement. Honey nodded.
	“All right! Start out with Sand Attack!” she ordered. Honey turned her back towards the caterpie
and kicked sand into the bug’s face.
	“Now! Tackle!” Honey bashed into the small critter. It landed with a small ‘Thump’ four feet
away.
	“Go! Poke’ball!” Bayline shouted, throwing an empty poke’ball. The ball tapped the caterpie then
sucked it in and landed on the ground and started shaking. It was a short silence before Bayline screamed
her first capture. Squall and Coco came up to her and congratulated her.
	“Your first catch, awesome!” Coco said, Squall rolled his eyes. To him, catching a caterpie wasn’t
much of a catch.
	“I know, and I’m going to train her to be the best butterfree ever!” Bayline reported, Coco smiled.
Squall went over to Fruity and began soaking her with water in the small spring.
	“Hey, why don’t you give your pokemon a bath, and I’ll give mine a bath!” Bayline suggested,
Coco, not seeing any harm in doing so agreed, but decided only to wash Peppermint.
	“Hm,” Squall mumbled as Coco sat next to him and began soaking her pikachu with water and
tickling her. Bayline sat next to her and gave her eevee and new caterpie, Jenta, a watery bath, while
Firestorm bathed in the sun on a flat rock, a good distance away from the spring.

	“Alright, I think we should start unpacking and get ready to go to sleeeepppp,” Coco yawned,
Bayline and Squall yawned too.
	Coco and the other two went to their backpacks and unrolled their sleeping bags. Coco had a
medium-sized, bright purple sleeping bag. Squall had a Black, medium-sized sleeping bag with a white
lightening bolt in the middle, and Bayline had a small, hot pink sleeping bag with many red hearts stamped
all over. After taking off their shoes, they went into their sleeping bags, their pokemon slept on their
trainers sleeping bags.
