Part 2
 
I started to scream, I was gonna be burnt to a crisp! 
 
"Ice Blast Dewgong!" I heard Rio yell as a huge blast of ice blocked Sela's 
Flareon attack. 
 
"Hey! No fair! You were supposed to be knocked out Rio!" Sela said pointing to 
him. I still couldn't move, but Rio was up and he was beside me. 
 
He smiled and pulled out his sword and pointed it at Ferio. "Dewgong Icy Wind!" 
Dewgong leaped forward and threw huge whirls of ice at them. But Ferio only 
grinned as Alakazam blocked Dewgong's attack. 
 
"Ya know boy, why won't we make a trade? Aya for the element shard," Ferio said 
grabbing the small shiny shard from Sela's hand. 
 
"Hey!" she said looking surprised. Ferio looked at her and she nodded. Rio's 
grip on his sword tightened. I wanted to yell, scream, anything! But I was 
completely frozen! My heart was racing, was Rio really going to trade me? 
 
"No way! Aya's my friend, I would never, ever, trade her," Rio said running 
forward Dewgong behind him, Ferio wasn't ready for that. It was too late for 
Alakazam to block, for the Flareon too. Rio hit Ferio on the arm, flinging him 
backward. Dewgong head butted Alakazam, breaking its focus on me. I could move! 
 
"Your gonna get it now you two!" I yelled reaching for my belt of Pokeballs. 
 
"Crap! Get up Ferio! She's gonna-" 
 
"Go Light!" I yelled cutting Sela off, as my bright Manectric came out, its fur 
on ends. "Light use thunder!" Light nodded and sent a huge jolt of thunder at 
the two and their Pokemon, hitting them against the wall. 
 
"Return Flare!" Sela said shakily.
 
"You too Alakazam," Ferio said helping Sela up. "You might of won this time 
twerps, but we still have the shard!" 
 
I put my hands on my hips. "Oh yeah? You mean this?" I said, smiling, held up 
the shard.
 
"But-but how?" Sela said. I looked at Rio, who had a huge smirk on his face. 
 
"Your not the only one who is sneaky," he said with a smirk.
 
"Will get you later boy, wait and see, And once your gone, there's no one to 
protect the Priestess!" Ferio hissed and he threw a smoke-bomb on the ground and 
disappeared with Sela at his side. I hugged the shard tight to my chest, why do 
I have to collect the shards? 
 
"Aya," Rio whispered, at my side. 
 
I sighed. "Its OK, Rio," I said putting the shard in the bottle around my neck. 
"Now, are you OK?" 
 
Rio shook his head. "I'm fi-" He collapsed on the floor, blood rushing from his 
sides. "RIO!" I screamed holding him in my arms as he fell. 
 
He laughed. "Oh this? Its nothing I just-need-to-rest," He said closing his eyes 
slowly.
 
"Rio," I whispered as I put his head down on the floor. "Light can you let me 
borrow some of your power? Dewgong too?" I asked the two Pokemon behind me. 
 
"Of course Aya," Light said coming closer. Dewgong nodded. I closed my eyes, 
waiting for Light and Dewgong to attack me. I felt a jolt from Light which  went 
into my body, and a blast from Dewgong too flowing inside also. Their attacks 
now inside me, I put my hands on Rio's side and whispered: " Saka Deo Morea," 
Wind flew around us, making my sliver hair blow, the blood started to stop, all 
his wounds were no healed. He slowly opened his eyes. 
 
"Aya? You look pale, did you- Aya!" Rio said getting up fast.
 
I smiled. "You know my gift Rio, it just takes some energy," I said looking 
down. I felt hands on my shoulders.
 
"Idiot! You didn't have to do that!" Rio said looking into my eyes. 
 
I smiled and hugged him, Oh my god, what was I doing?!? "I had to Rio, if you 
would die, I would have nothing," I whispered. He hugged me back, and we sat 
there, hugging each other what seemed like forever.
