Part 5

(In Ash's emergency room)
"Doctor, doctor! His pulse is flat!!"
"Give him CPR!!" The nurse put both of her hands in CPR position and pressed it against Ash's chest. Nothing happened.
"Give him metriphene!" The nurse loaded a shot with metriphene and put it in his arm. Again, nothing had happened. The nurse gave him CPR again. Nothing happened. The doctor shocked Ash once. Twice. Three times and so on. Still, nothing had happened. There was nothing they cud do. Ash had died...
"Nurse, certify his death at 1:15 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2010... Notify his friends that were here..." The nurse went to call Brock's cell phone since he was flirting with her when he checked in to see Ash. She quickly dialed the numbers on the paper that Brock had given her.

(On their way back to Ash's house)
ring ring ring ring ring ring ring ring ring!! Brock took out his cell phone from his backpack.
"Hello? Yes? He did? Oh... When? Hold on..." He gave the phone to Misty.
"Me?" Brock nodded and she answered the phone.
"Hello?"
"Hello, I'm sorry to imform you that Ash Ketchum has passed away. We did the best we cud to revive him. Nothing had happened when we tried. I'm sorry.."
"Oh... thank you..."
"good nite.."
"good nite" Misty hung up and gave the phone to Brock as she started to cry. She ran ahead of Brock and Tracey.
"Misty!" Tracey ran after her but Brock stopped him.
"She'll need some time alone..."

(With Misty)
Misty was running until she reached a clearing. She sat down on the ground, crying in her hands.
'but he promised he'd never leave me... he promised....'
"He promised..." She looked up at the sky and saw many beautiful stars. It reminded her of all  the nights when she tried to tell Ash how she felt. Now that she had told him, on this night, she was beginning to feel happy, but now she cudn't. Because Ash is dead. Dead.
"How cud he leave me? He promised... he promised..." She started crying even more.
"U promised!!" She shouted out loud. The pidgeys flew away from the loudness.
"Misty, I'm sorry..." Misty turned around to see who it was. No one.
"I must be hearing things...." Misty wiped a tear as she heard that voice again.
"Misty, It's me..." Misty quickly turned around.
"Who's there?!" A glow came into view. There was a figure but she cudn't see what or who it was. She heard the voice again.
"Misty, I'm sorry..." The ghost came closer to her and she cud see who it was.
"Ash?" It was Ash... well, his ghost.
"Misty, I know I promised you that I wud make it.. I'm sorry I broke that promise..."
"You also promised that you wudn't leave me..." She started to tear again.
"Misty, don't cry.." He flew closer to her and tried to wipe the tears away but his hand went right thru her.
"I'm sorry..." Misty looked up into his eyes.
"I wish you were still here, Ash..."
"I am.. I'll always be with you... no matter what happens, Misty.. I'll always love you.." Misty started to tear again but not because of sadness.. but because of happiness.
"Do you really mean it, Ash?"
"Yes.." Just then a shooting star appeared. Misty looked up and made a wish. She closed her eyes and thought really hard about her wish. She opened her eyes and looked back to Ash. He had disappeared. She turned around and looked all around for Ash.
"Ash?! Ash, where r u?!?!" Just then someone from behind grabbed her waist. She quickly turned around. She cudn't believe her eyes... Her wish had come true...
"Ash.." She started to tear again, knowing that she was now with Ash... She put her arms around his neck and leaned in as Ash was, too. Their lips locked together into a gentle kiss.
