A/N: This is the second part of my fanfic, and I don't really know what to say. I somtimes wonder if anyone reads them... The point is, I really don't think that it's that bad, and if it is, POO ON YOU! End of note.

Last time we saw Kevin, he had just began his Pokemon journey. He had found a friend in Eevee, who was his new Pokemon. Eevee and Kevin are now entering the town of Viridean, the closest town in any of the regeons to Daze. He looked at the wide spaces of the large city in awe. "Hey Eevee, do you see how big this place is?" He asked almost in a trance. The little fox nodded.

It didn't take long to notice how tired he was, being he had gone around eight miles of tough terrain on foot. He looked on, but with only blurred vision, he didn't get far. He passed out, and lay helpless to burglars or other people, in the middle of the road.

Eevee paniced, and danced around him crying loudly. He didn't know what to do, seeing his owner so numb. Soon he saw a girl approach him. She looked sinister from afar, but as she neared, he saw that she was simply anougher trainer.

"Oh my God, what happened?" She asked as she kneeled next to Kevin. She looked at Eevee, almost expecting an answer. She sighed and pulled out a Pokeball. "Go Ponyta!" She exclaimed as the younge horse escaped from the ball. "I want you to carry this boy on your back Ponyta, just follow me and Rapadash, okay?"

The Ponyta neighed joyously, and stayed as steady as possible as his owner placed Kevin on her back. She watched as her owner called out Rapadash, and placed Eevee, and herself, on the flaming horse. She followed Rapadash, as directed, all the way to a fancy tent. Then she was called back into her Pokeball.

Kevin woke up with a small bit of fear. He looked around him frantically, and then saw Eevee sleeping, curled in a ball, on the pillow next to him. He put on his jacket, which had been placed on the chair next to the bed. As soon as he exited the tent, he saw a girl.

She had long blue hair that hung in a braid. She wore a bikini top with a seethrough jacket over it, and she had on shorts. Her shoes went up to her thighs and laced up the back. As soon as she saw him, she turned and smiled.

"Oh, so you have the capability to be awake? Well Hi. I looked at your Pokedex, and found out your name was Kevin. Mine's Maya."

"Don't care." Kevin said, taking Eevee from the pillow. It woke up and shook it's head.

"WHAT?!?!?" Maya yelled at him, "I SAVED YOUR SORRY BUTT, THE LEAST YOU COULD DO IS SAY THANK YOU!"

"Thank you." Kevin said. He turned and looked at her. "But I don't care what your name is, I don't even care that you exist, because I don't really have a reason to. I don't need to know you at all."

"I hate guys like that..." Maya said. "Well, you owe me."

"I owe you?" Kevin asked, "For what?"

"YOUR LIFE!" Maya yelled back. Why was this guy being such a butt face? She calmed down and said, "You don't know anything about journeys."

"Whatever." Kevin said with a smirk. He grabbed his back pack and continued to walk away. He Started to make his way through the Viridean forest. It didn't take long for him to get annoied. Maya wouldn't quit following him. She was sneaking behind trees, and she was making a bunch of noise.

"You can quit being stupid, I know your following me." Kevin said without turning. "I'm sorry about earlier, I was just freaked out. What do you want?"

"Well, I..." Maya began. She sighed. "I sortof wanted to travel with you. You actually seem nice, and it's dangerous to travel alone nowadays."

"You want to travel with me?" Kevin asked suprised. He figured she would yell at him. He turned to face her, and noticed she had taken her blue hair out of the braid. It hung loosly, down to her knees. She almost looked...cute.

She placed a strand of hair behind her ear. "Yeah... but that's just cuz I need a traveling partner. Don't go getting some idea that I like you or anything."

"Like me---Ew." Kevin laughed. "I didn't think that, but now that I have I don't want to." Eevee crawled from his head to his backpack. He jumped into Maya's arms.

"Eevee!" Kevin yelled. Maya just laughed.

"It looks like Eevee likes me more!"

"Oh no he doesn't." Kevin said, but before he could counter, he saw a small Vulpix lying helplessly on the ground. "Woah."

"Oh, I hate seeing dead pokemon." Maya whimpered. She turned around.

"Maya, it isn't dead." Kevin said quietly. He picked it up, and held it like a baby. "I can see it breathing. But just barely."

Eevee jumped up on his shoulder and looked at the little Vulpix. Kevin began running at top speed through the forest and to the Pokemon Center. It took an three sodas, a bathroom break, and then two more, but finnally Joy came back into the room with the little Pokemon.

"Well, she'll be just fine, but what bothers me is her fur." Joy said quietly. "I had to use a potion to get it sterile enough for the operation, the same I use on all the pokemon, but its fur reacted and changed to a shade of black. Now she almost lookes like a child's piece of art."

"Then we can call her Dusk." Kevin said holding the young fox. It purred and licked his face gleefully. "So, that's two Pokemon."

"Oh, your starting on a Pokemon journey?" Joy asked. She peered over his shoulder to Maya. "Is she your girlfriend?"

Kevin snorted, "Girlfriend? Geez, she's such an idiot!"

"Ew, and he's a little fart head!"

"Hey, it was only once."

"Once every thirty seconds. You need a gas mask just to sit next to you."

"Oh, go hang yourself by your hair." Kevin smirked, then stuck out his tounge. She copied his actions.

"You know," Joy said, "There were two kids who used to fight a lot when they came around. I told them the same thing I'm about to tell you. You only fight so much because you care about each other."

"What are you, a doctor or a psycic?" Maya blabbed.

"Hey! Don't bite the hand that heals your pokemon!" Kevin yelled.

"Well, the two I yelled, grew up, fell in love, had a baby, and are living happily ever after." Joy said.

"Yeah, well I bet they didn't have major dreams."

"Well, lets see... As I recall, the girl was a gym leader, and wanted to be the greatest water pokemon trainer ever. And the boy, he was a young boy, who wanted to be the best Pokemon master on earth. And, they did live there dreams."

"Ash Ketchum is the best master, nomatter what you say." Kevin said.

"I was talking about Ash." Joy laughed.

"Oh..." Kevin mumbled. He looked at Eevee and Dusk playing together like children. Now, he was one step closer to being as good as Ash. He had two pokemon, and only needed to train them. And possibly a few others. But it would be good. He also had his new friend, perhaps... Maya was close enough. This wasn't turning out too hard after all.
