A/N: Hey dudes, didn't you all hate that I ditched a character before she had a chance to be in the story!? OMG, I did. But don't think that Blare is down and out yet, cuz I have BIG plans for the little dead girl. I found it dramatic that she died right near her fathers grave, and that she said he wanted her to go to sleep. Hey, I have the power to make odd things happan in this little fanfic. AND EEVEE IS STILL MISSING!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO! ...... anyway, I miss Eevee. You won't litterally be seeing him again though... BUT I WILL BRING HIM BACK! *Falls out of chair* ow...

A man standing perhaps seven feet tall in a scarlet and smooth suit. His brown hair smoothed back with what seemed to be air, because it was so smooth and showed no sign of gel or water. His facial features were so strong and so solid that he seemed to be unable to seem glad. He would smile, but it would be an evil grin, not a happy gesture. He entered the room with a sleek Persian. The cat yawned and looked up at his master in such a way to say, "What am I doing here?"

"Release the pokemon." He said with a deep voice. No sooner had he finished the word than a black doglike pokemon entered the room. Shadows upon shadows covered the creature and let the circular designs shine like the moon at night. Blue eyes where it would normally be red, and blue markings where normally it would be yellow, this was indeed a "different" pokemon. It looked up at Geovanni with anger and fear. He looked back with a solid stare. "Umbreon."

The Umbreon looked up at the eager man. The Persian jumped infrount of Geovanni defensivly and hissed. Umbreon did nothing. He paced up to the man and let him shove a pill into his mouth. Swallowing hard, the pokemon frowned and walked back through the cage door it exited.

The cage was damp and dreary looking. The floor was just dirt, and it only gave a 5x5 square of walking space. There was a small, almost unnoticable hole in the back of the cage. It lead to anougher cage, holding an shimmering pale pink Espeon. The pokemons eyes were shining and pure, but saddened by the small quarters she lived in, and had a shattered heart due to being locked up in such a dark place. She turned as the Umbreon entered through the hole in their cages. (They mostlikly made it...) Her collar, covered in diamonds, had an "R" hanging off of it. The Umbreon began to snuggle up to her, and she lost the sadness in her eyes. She sat with her legs slightly more seperated than normally, due to her rounded belly. Umbreon looked happier with her than Geovanni would ever see him.

"Kevin, how do you know that Eevee is here?" Dillon asked annoied. "This isn't even an active base anymore. At least that's what the police say."

"I just do."

"But Kevin, there isn't even a light on." Dillon continued. "The place is empty."

"The windows are tinted." Kevin said. "You can tell by the marking at the bottem."

"But Kevin--"

"Lay off Dillon!" Maya said shoving him. "You don't even know if he's right or not!" She kept thinking that she had her hair up because it was so short now, but she didn't care. It was what would make Kevin happy.

"You know Maya, you seem pretty defensive of Kevin now. Is there somthing going on I don't know about?"

"WHAT!?!?!?!" Kevin and Maya yelled. Maya glared at Dillon and said, "You know for a fact that I have a pair of sharp siccors in my backpack."

Dillon stopped talking and walked behind her. She looked triumphant for a moment, and then just smiled at Kevin. When he turned and saw her smiling, she blushed and looked away. Why do I keep doing that. I don't want him to think I like him. I don't... not really. At least not enough to tell him.

Kevin looked away from her with a blush covering his face. He had started to wear a hat, and it did good at covering most of his unwanted expressions. Also, in the past week he had been wearing it, at least ten people called him "Ash". He indeed did look a lot like him, but his red hair was the constant givaway. Maya did seem to be protective of him latly. She seemed to want to take care of him. Why is she acting like that. She makes me feel like I need her, and I don't like that feeling. If anything, I want her to need me. I want her to feel safe with me, and just me. Not the other way around.

The wall near them collasped, and two pokemon ran from the building. The black one was much faster than the pink, but kept slowing down for her. Finnally, he bent down, and she crawled on his back. He began to run, losing no where near as much time as he was before. He ran quickly, and quietly, knowing that he needed to escape before Geovanni found out he had left. He ran charging, hoping that he didn't get caught. He kept looking back to the wall, and in doing so didn't notice the young man he charged into.

"Oh my God, Look Kevin, it's an Umbreon! That's one of the rarest pokemon on earth, as is Espeon!!" Dillon yelled. "There isn't a chance this is dumb luck. I told you there were still pokemon in this joint!!!"

Dillon looked cross at him, but then looked down at the Umbreon. It had hurt it's ankel when it fell into him. Dillon looked into it's eyes, hoping that he could calm it down. Finnally, he did so, but once he let his feelings seep into his eyes, the umbreon revealed a secret.

Kevin gasped and looked again at the unnatural blue markings. "Eevee?!"
