A/N: Hey guys. I suppose this story is getting sorta long.... Part seven already.... (Between you and me, it was sposed to end at three...) I like it though! And anyone who's read this probably can't say they hate Kevin. You know, he's kool like that. lol. K then, read!

"What?" Dillon asked as he bent down to the Umbreon. "Is that Eevee?" He bent down and admired the blue markings littering it's body. He truly did look like pools of light in the night. Maybe there was a chance that team rocket trained it?

"Oh..." Maya moaned quietly. Kevin turned to see her clutching her stomach and crying. Her hair draped down over her shoulders and she leaned down, looking like she was about to vomit. Suddenly, her legs went out, and she began to tumble down the hill that they had just come up.

"MAYA!" Kevin yelled, dropping the case of Umbreon and jolting down the hill. He finally got a hold of her at the bottom of the elevation. She was lying on her side with her hair tangled around her backpack arm and neck. She wasn't conscious either. "Maya?! Are you alright?"

He held her head to his chest, and her waist close to him. He didn't cry, but that was all he wanted to do. In the short month since he had met her and Dillon (Yes my friends, I did leap in time before the phone call happened with Kevin’s mom. Funny, she seemed nicer in the call than the real life hunh? Any who, isn't it fun to leave you out of the picture for 27 days of the 31?), something had come over him. He wanted, more than anything for her to want him, to need him, and he was the one needing her. It seemed like an unreasonable thing to do, but he started praying for God to help him.

What started as a trickle of blood was now a river as it inched down from her head to Kevin's shirt. He didn't care. As he whispered to himself, there was no telling what was wrong with that scrape. It could be a concussion for all he knew. And there was no way to fix that. Not here at least.

Dillon had started to run down the hill, but between the twigs and the thorns he stopped. How did Kevin do that? Man, this hill is completely covered in crap! He must have flown, cuz if you aren't on the trail, then there's nothing to it, you're dead meat. For the Ferrows... How'd he do that? Before he could ponder more on the topic, he heard the worried howls of Umbreon, and Espeon moaning on the ground. He ran back up to the two pokemon, hoping that his little training as a pokemon doctor would be enough in this case.

Kevin began to wonder what was going on when Maya began to glow. It was an inner-glow, that made him wonder if she was an angel. When she opened her eyes, they had morphed from green to brown, and she had a scar above her left eye. Two of the same features that Blare had before she passed. Her eyes were brown but the seemed like there was a film over them, and it was impossible to describe other than one like a cat's second eyelid.

"Kevin." She said, but it wasn't Maya talking. It was someone else. It was Blare. "I don't want you to leave. I want to be here and stay with you. I want Maya to leave. I don't want you to love her more than me. I don't want you to love her at all. So I walked through her to make her dizzy, and I shoved her down the hill!”

“You what?” Kevin yelled at her. “Blare you can’t do that!!” Kevin took hold of her wrists and twisted them back. “You can’t hurt my friend!”

“Ouch!! Your hurting me Kevin!”

“Blare, you can’t interfere with my life. You can watch, you can laugh at my stupidity, but you CAN NOT hurt my friends.” Kevin said. Then he took the necklace on her neck into his hand. “And You can’t channel Maya through this either.” he whispered before crushing it beneath his foot.

“YOU FOOL!” Blare yelled. “That was my only way to you! How am I supposed to save you from her now!”

Kevin did nothing, but watch her eyes fade to green, and Maya’s tired body collapse into his arms. She woke up with no scar, just a cut from her fall.

Dillon dug through his back pack until he found a few towels. Three. That was the number of pups that Espeon had. Three little baby Eevees. He wasn’t the maternity doctor of the century, but hey, he hadn’t done a horrible job. He delivered three, healthy, live, babies, right?

Using the towels he wrapped them, and cleaned them. At first Espeon was ready to attack, not wanting her children to be handled by a stranger, but Umbreon kept her from getting scared. He knew this boy. He knew him to be a good person.

Once Dillon had cleaned and checked out the Eevees, he put them near their mother. It was evident that they’re eyes weren’t opened yet, and may not be for a good while, but he knew they would find their mother’s milk.

“Dillon!” Kevin yelled from afar. Dillon stood up and saw Kevin walking up the hill, off path, through the thorns, through the twigs, (We get it already, stop it), holding Maya. She was still fainted, but she didn’t look to bad now. She had regained some of the color lost from before the fall.

“Oh my God, what happened!” Dillon said to no one in particular. He knew what happened. Those evil twigs from Satan's den got her. He looked in his first aid kit before realizing he didn’t have the supplies to clean her head.

“Espi?” The pokemon asked tilting her head. It wasn’t until now that Kevin noticed the Eevee pups. Espeon smiled in a way only pokemon can before it’s eyes began to glow green. The next thing Dillon and Kevin knew, Maya’s cut had vanished.

“It must have used recover!” Dillon said.

“I didn’t know pokemon could use recovery skills on humans.” Kevin replied.

“I guess there is a lot we don’t know about pokemon.”

Maya began to stir, and the first thing she saw was Kevin in her face. She went cross eyed and yelled “WHAT THE CRAP ARE YOU DOING?!” Then she said, “I had a strange dream...”

Kevin looked up on that. Did she mean the time when Blare had possessed her. That meant that Blare may be able to contact her still. But how? Kevin had drifted into thought, and when he entered the real world he found himself starring at Maya’s breast. As she caught him, he looked away blushing, but she didn’t say anything. Maybe that would be their little secret.

My dream was so nice. Maya thought Kevin was holding me while I was hurt, and telling me that he didn’t want me to die. He was saying he didn’t want to lose another loved one. Loved one. I guess a girl can dream...
