Ash: Let Pikachu go right now!
Meowth: We're keepin' this Pikachu and you can't stop us
Ash: *took out a pokeball* Wanna bet? *stopped and thought. He couldn't use a pokemon. Cyndaquil, Totodile, Noctowl, Bulbasaur and Bayleef were completly worn out. There was no way they could take on Team Rocket*
James: Weezing, use your tackle on that twerp
Weezing: *tackled Ash so hard he fell off the Stantlers head and slid down the back of its neck then landed hard on the ground*
Jessie: Lets go
James: Right
Meowth: But the robots out of fuel
Jessie: Then leave it, we don't have time to refill it

Team Rocket climbed down and ran over to a Meowth shaped ballon. The roof of the abandoned HQ opened up and the ballon began to float away

Pikachu: PIKAPI! (ASH!)
Jessie: Well I hope you can forget about that twerp, you'll never see him again
Pikachu: Pika pika pika pikachu (I'll find a way to escape)
Meowth: Ha! Ya right
James: What did it say?
Meowth: That it could find a way to escape
James: What? Theres no way to escape the Pokepod without the key and its not like we're gonna tell you were that is

At that time, Misty and Brock had seen Team Rocket come out from the top of the cave

Brock: Crobat go! Cut that ballon up!
Crobat: *darted all around the ballon. Nothing seemed to have happend but suddenly the ballon fell apart and Team Rocket fell and landed back inside the cave*
Brock: Lets follow 'em
Misty: Right *ran up to were the hole was and looked in and saw the robot was so tall it nearly reached the top of the cave. She jumped down and landed on the robots head, then she climbed down the robots arm, onto the ground* Give back Pikachu right now!
James: Never! Weezing Smokescreen attack!
Weezing: *opened it's mouth and realesed a Smokescreen*
Misty: Staryu go!
Staryu: *popped out of it's pokeball*
Misty: Use Rapid Spin!
Staryu: *spun around very quickly and the smokescreen blew away*
Misty: Water gun attack!
Staryu *shot a poweful blast of water at Weezing*
Weezing: *Withstood the blast for a minute before becoming overpowered and was hit back. It hit against James, who was holding the Pokepod, and Pikachu rolled over to Misty*
Misty: Pikachu, are you ok?
Pikachu: Pi (Ya)
Misty: I'm guessing thats a yes *looked at the back of the Pokepod and saw the lock* Ok, weres the key?
James: *tightened his fist* I don't know
Misty: Ya right, give it to me James
James: *kept his fist closed*
Misty: Staryu? Would you be so kind?
Staryu: *lunged foward and tackled James in the stomach. He dropped the key and Staryu acted as a bummarang and brought it back*
Misty: Thanks Staryu *unlocked the Pokepod and Pikachu jumped out*
Pikachu: Pikachu Pikachupi! (Thanks Misty)
Misty: Pikachu, lets get rid of these guys
Pikachu: *grinned and looked at Team rocket, who all begain to panic. Jumped up and let out a giant Thunder attack*

Team Rocket yelled in pain and then there was an explosion.

Jessie/James/Meowth: Looks like Team Rockets blasting off again!
Wabbuffet: Wabbu!

Misty: Way to go Pikachu!
Pikachu: Pikachu (Thanks)
Misty: Hey, wait a minute, were's Ash?
Pikachu: Pikapi! (Ash)
Misty: Come on, lets find him
Pikachu: *nodded and began to search around the robot*
Misty: *Walked around the cave*
Pikachu: Pikachupi! (Misty)
Misty: *turned around* What is it Pikachu?
Pikachu: Pika (Look) *pointed behind the robot*
Misty: *walked over to the robot and looked behind it*

Ash lay at the foot of the robot, face to the ground

Misty: *walked over to him* Ash?
Nothing
Misty: Ash? *kneeled beside him* Ash wake up *shook him a little*
Nothing again
Misty: Ash come on, this is no time to be playing around *shook him again*
Pikachu: Pikapi? (Ash?) *looked at it's trainer with great worry* Pika pikachu pikachu Pika Pikachupi? (Whats wrong with him Misty?)
Misty: *looked at Pikachu* What's wrong with him? *she asked not understanding Pikachu. Looked back at Ash* Pikachu do something
Pikachu: *looked around* Pikachu! *shocked Ash*
Misty: Pikachu!
Pikachu: *stopped* Pikachu (sorry)
Ash: *groaned*
Pikachu: Pikapi? (Ash?)
Ash: *opened his eyes*
Misty: Ash, are you okay?
Ash: Huh? What? *looked up* Misty? What are you doing here? *sat up and leaned against the robot*
Misty: *sighed* Thank goodness your ok, but you look a mess
Ash: *looked at himself. He had cuts all over his face and his legs hurt a bit, but he shruged and smiled as he looked at Pikachu* Hey buddy
Pikachu: *jumped up and gave Ash a hug* Pikapi, pikachu pika pika pika pikachu chu pika (Ash, I'm glad your ok)
Ash: *patted Pikachu on the head* Im glad your ok to Pikachu *turned to Misty* Thanks
Misty: For what?
Ash: For saving Pikachu *frowned and looked down* Misty, Im sorry for the way I acted at the hospital
Misty: Thats ok, what I did was far worse, but I didn't mean it
Ash: *looked up* So you really don't hate me?
Misty: Why would I hate you? I didn't mean to say that, it just came out
Ash: Ok *smiled*
Pikachu: Pikachu pia chu chu pika pikachu pikachu? (So we're all friends again?)
Ash: Yup
Pikachu: Pika! (Yay!)
Misty: Come on, lets get out of here
Ash: Right *picked Pikachu up with one arm and put it on his shoulder*
Misty: *stood up and brushed herself off*
Ash: *tried to stand up but his leg hurt* It's just not my week is it? *looked at his broken arm and sighed*
Misty: Need a hand *reached her hand down to him*
Ash: *grabbed her outstreached hand and pulled himself up* Thanks
Misty: *smiled*
Ash: Only problem now is how do we get out?
Ash/Misty: *looked around. apart from the hole in the cieling there was no way out. there was a loud crashing noise behind them and when the looked back they saw Onix was after breaking through the wall, Brock sitting on it's head*
Brock: Hey guys, need a ride?
Misty: *sighed with relief* For a minute there I thought we were stuck
Ash: Hey Brock
Brock: *smiled* Come on, lets go

Back at the Pokemon Center......

Ash: *was sleeping on one of the benches in the Pokemon Center. He used his back-pack as a pillow and had pulled his hat over his eyes*
Brock: He's out like a light
Misty: Well he has had a rough day
Brock: True
Misty: I'm gonna check if Ash's Pokemon are ready *got up and went over to the frount desk* Excuse me Nurse Joy, but are Ash's Pokemon ready and healed?
Nurse Joy: Yes, I'll go get them *walked around back and came back later with Pikachu in her arms and a tray with 5 pokeballs on it* Here you are, Pikachu, Bayleef, Totodile, Bulbasaur, Noctowl and Cyndaquil, all recharged and healed
Misty: Thank you Nurse Joy *took the pokeballs*
Pikachu: *jumped out of Nurse Joys arms and ran over to Ash* Pi Pikapi (Hi Ash)
Misty: Pikachu, Ash is sleeping
Pikachu: Pi, pikachu (Oh, sorry) *jumped up and curled up beside Ash*
Misty: *went over to Brock and let out all of Ash's other Pokemon* Ok guys, whos hungry?
Bayleef/Noctowl/Bulbasaur/Cyndaquil/Totodile: *they jumped up and down*
Misty: I guess thats a yes

After a good meal (Pikachu was asleep for it) they dicided to get some sleep

The next morning.......

Ash: *was the first to wake up. He looked at the clock, it was 9:30 a.m. He looked down and saw Pikachu was still asleep, so he got up very quitely so as to not wake it. He picked up his back-pack and took out a piece of paper. He wrote a message on it and put it under Pikachu's paw. He closed up his bag and walked out of the Pokemon Center*

Later.....

Misty: *walked in and saw Pikachu still sleeping. She went over and noticed the note. She pulled it out from Pikachus paw which caused it to wake up*
Pikachu: Pikachupi? Pika pikachu pika? (Misty? Why'd you wake me up?) *rubbed the sleep out of its eyes*
Misty: Oh, sorry Pikachu *looked at the note and read it out loud*
"Im gone out to have a look around the town, I'll be back by 2 p.m.
Ash

P.S. Try not to wake up Pikachu"
*looked at Pikachu* Sorry for waking you
Pikachu: Pika pikachu pika (Thats ok) *its stomach rumbled* Pi, pikachu pika pika pi pikachu? (Uh, you wouldn't have something to it would you?)
Misty: *patted Pikachu* Come on, lets get you some food
Pikachu: Chu! (Yay!) *jumped on her shoulder*
Misty: *laughed*

Later......

Brock was reading a Pokemon magizine, Pikachu was licking happily at a bottle of ketchup and Misty was on the Pokemon center computer

Misty: Hey, I got an e-mail from my sisters
Brock: They never contact you, whats up?
Misty: *opened the e-mail and began to read it*

Dear Misty,
         how are you? Things are great back here in Cerulean. And you'll never quess what happened......this rwally famous guy came and offered us jobs as Super Models! Isn't that so, like, cool! The reason we bothered to contact you is because we will be traveling the world, seeing the sites and, well, the Gym has no Leader. We thought we'd have to leave our modeling jobs but then we realized something....your a Gym Leader! And because your family, you have no choice. Remember if all the older leaders, thats us, couldn't battle anymore, you were to take over. So there you have it, your the new, like, Gym Leader. Your Starmie and Horsea are SO excited and are really looking forward to seeing you again. We leave in three days so you better be here before then. Don't even think of not taking the job, you like, promised that you'd be the Gym Leader if we had to leave, and we're making sure you keep that promise.

Brock: So what did it say? *he asked when she had turned off the computer*
Misty: *explained*
Brock: Wow, your finnally gonna have your own Gym Misty
Misty: Ya I know, but I want to stay traveling
Brock: Misty, you promised your sisters....
Misty: I know, I have no choice *frowned*
Brock: Well, at least you'll get to see Starmie and Horsea again
Misty: *didn't say anything*

The Pokemon Center door opened and Ash walked in

Ash: Hey guys
Pikachu: Pikapi! (Ash!) *ran over and jumped onto his shoulder*
Ash: Good to see you to Pikachu *looked over at Brock and Misty* Hey guys
Misty: *smiled* Hey Ash
Brock: Hi
Ash: *looked from one to the other* Is..something wrong?
Misty: No *she lied*
Ash: *shruged* If you say so *walked over and sat down on one of the benches, looking at his Pokedex*
Pikachu: *jumped beside him and started to eat it's ketchup*
Misty: Well, there is something.....
Ash: *looked at her* What?
Misty: Well, I got an e-mail from my sisters and well, they're becoming models
Ash: Good for them
Misty: Ya, but theres no leader for the Gym
Ash: Oh, well, what did they do?
Misty: Well, thats the thing. I made a promise to them that I'd take over if they couldn't work anymore, and so I have to go back to Cerulean
Ash: What? For how long?
Misty: I don't know
Ash: Your leaving?
Misty: *nodded*
Ash: When?
Misty:  I have to leave tomorrow at 11 a.m. for the bus to Goldenrod were I'll get the Magnet train back to Saffron City and then another bus back to Cerulean
Ash: *was looking down and didn't say anything*
Brock: We'll go to the bus station with you, won't we guys?
Pikachu: Pi (Ya)
Ash: *was still looking down at the ground*
Brock: Ash?
Ash: Huh? *looked up* Ya
Misty: Thanks guys *smiled*
Brock: No problem
Ash: *got up* So whacha gonna do till tomorrow?
Misty: I don't know, just hang around I guess
Ash: *nodded* Come on Pikachu
Misty: We're you going?
Ash: For a walk, thats all
Pikachu: Pikachu pika pikachu (But you just got back)
Ash: So
Pikachu: *shruged and jumped up on his shoulder*
Ash: *Picked up his Pokeballs and walked out of the Pokemon Center again*
Misty: *sighed*

Ash and Pikachu didn't return untill past 8 p.m. They had walked around the whole town. When they got back Misty was just after getting Togipi to sleep. Ash walked over to a bench by a window and sat down, looking out at the sky. Pikachu jumped up on the windowsill and looked at stars like Ash was. After a while Ash lay down and went to sleep. Not long after, Pikachu fell asleep on the windowsill while still looking at the stars.

The next morning....

Brock: Wake up Ash
Ash: *groaned and rolled over. Unfortunately he rolled the wrng way and fell off the bench onto his back. He pushed himself up* Well, Im awake
Brock: *laughed* Come on, we're going to the bus station
Ash: *sighed and stood up. He picked up the sleeping Pikachu and his back-pack. Then followed Brock and Misty out the door, noticing Misty didn't look to thrilled to go*

At the bus station.......

Brock: Oh, I have to go, Pokemon Breeder items for sale, and Pikachow free samples
Pikachu: Pika! Pikachu! (Yay! Pikachow!)
Misty: Oh, ok then, bye Brock, I'll miss you
Brock: Right back at ya
Pikachu: Pika Pikachupi (Bye Misty)
Misty: Bye Pikachu, I'll miss you too
Ash: Brock, you and Pikachu can go ahead, I'll wait till Misty's on the Bus
Brock: Ok, meet you back at the Pokemon Center
Pikachu: Pika Pipipi, pika Pikachupi (Bye Togipi, bye Misty) *huged Togipi and then Misty. then it jumped on Brocks shoulder and they went off*
Misty: *10 minutes later Misty's bus arrived* Well, I guess this is it
Ash: Ya *smiled and outstreached his arm* Good luck
Misty: *smiled and shook his hand* Thanks *let go of his hand* Well, bye
Ash: Bye
Misty: *turned and walked towards the bus*
Ash: Misty wait
Misty: *stopped and looked back*
Ash: I mightn't see you for a long time so I should just say this before I regret it *took a deep breath* Ever sinch the begining you've been a good friend. You've supported me through all my battles and challenges, and you've always looked out for me like that time I got stuck in that Vileplumes head. What I'm trying to say is....well...I um...I like you. Well, I more than like you
Misty: *smiled* I love you too
Ash: *looked up* You do?
Misty: *nodded* I don't really want to go to the Gym, but I made a promise
Ash: I understand *looked down*
Misty: But you'll come visit me right?
Ash: *looked up* Why wouldn't I? *smiled*
Misty: *walked over to him and hugged him* I'll miss you
Ash: *hugged her back* Ditto
Announcher: Last call for passengers for bus 46 to Goldenrod
Ash: I guess you gotta go now huh?
Misty: *pulled away from the hug* Ya *smiled and kissed him on the cheek* I'll be waiting for you *picked up her back-pack*
Ash: *smiled* I promise to visit you, oh, and one more thing *took out a Pokeball and a letter. handed them to her* I caught it and evolved it yesterday after you told me you were leaving, don't open them till your on the bus
Misty: *took the pokeball* Thanks Ash *hugged him again and then ran to the bus*
Ash: Bye
Misty: *waved out the window as the bus took off*

On the bus....

Misty: *took out the Pokeball. she threw it and there was a blinding flash. She looked at the Pokemon that had come out. It had blue skin and brown eyes and a mermaid kind of tail* A Vaporeaon! *she opened the note. It said:

This is Bubbles. I hope you take care of it. I wish you all the luck as a Gym Leader

Ash

Misty smiled and looked at the Vaporean named Bubbles*
Bubbles: *smiled and walked up to her. It jumped up on the seat beside her and lay its head on her lap*
Misty: I'm gonna take good care of you, don't worry
