Pokemon: BigRai's Story By BigRai Chapter 6: True Love Revealed Part 2 Rai woke to see all the chus around him, he got up and brushed him self off. He looked at his father who had a grim look on his face. Had he lost? Ka: Ah you are awake. Now let the trial begin. Rai: Trial? Ka: Rai, you are charged with contact with humans, a direct violation according to Chu's laws. What do you have to say for your self? Rai: What are you talking about? Ka: I am not stupid Rai. Ultra shock is a human thought technique. We can not learn it naturally, also this was found in our cave. Ka held up the cellular phone, Rai was sunk. Rai: Okay, yes I've had contact, but... Ka: Then there is no other choice, Rai you are here by excommunicated... Rai: What?! No! Ka: ...you shall have no contact with us... Rai: No please... Ka: ...you have lost all of your birthrights including eldership... Rai: No father, don't! Ka: ...but Rai all is not lost. For some strange reason Cha has chosen you as the clan guardian. After BigChu you shall protect our clan. However, this dose not mean you are one of us. From now on we know you as BigRai, but you are also dead to us. Cha will tell you when we need you otherwise you will leave us and not return. Now go leave us now! Rai: Father please, hear me out... Ka: Do not call me father for I have no son. Rai broke down, this was too much to bear. Mary ran over to hug him, but two other chus stopped her and carried her crying and screaming into her cave. Inferno flew down and Rai got on her back, they flew into the city and straight for the apartment. For the next six months Inferno saw the bad side of Rai. As soon as he turned twenty-one he went straight to liquor. Coming home late all the time drunk, he made their lives miserable. He would never go anywhere without drinking, he was depressed all the time. In one of his concerts he stopped in the middle of a song and broke down crying, Inferno had to come on stage and carry him off. As his drinking problem became news, his bookings became less and less. He let no one get close to him not even Inferno, but she stayed with him. Even when he degraded her in front of others, said nasty things to embarrass her in public, she knew it was not the real Rai, not the one she loved. It all came to a head on day when she walked in from work early and found him trying to cut off his tail. She knew if he succeeded any attack he did would kill him, with no tail to take the electricity his body produced he wouldn't last long. She couldn't believe it he was trying to commit suicide, she stopped him, but not without receiving deep cuts from the knife he had. Still she stayed, but it wore her down. She took care of Rai while War was gone, she switched to the night shift just to try to help him. Then one night she came home from work to see him on the couch mumbling through one of his songs. That was it he was drunk again and she couldn't take any more. She stormed up to him, she hated what he had become, she wanted her old Rai back, but it seamed that it would never happen. She was about to yell at him when she saw his face, he was crying. He looked up at her and she realized that he wasn't drunk. Rai: Inferno, help me? I can't remember, I just can't remember. Inferno: Rai, where is the beer? Rai only pointed to the sink. She walked over to it to see that the beer cans had been emptied out into it. He had done it, Inferno went over to Rai and hugged him. He was going to stop, but he needed her help. For the next six months they worked together and slowly she got the old Rai back. His bookings went up again, it seemed that people forgave him very quickly. One day a whole year after he left his clan Rai walked to Chu Island Industries Inc. He went to the top floor and meet War. He whispered something to her she chuckled, nodded her head, and ran to Inferno's cubicle. War: Inferno you have a visitor. Inferno walked to the elevator, as soon as she saw Rai her heart raced. They hugged and kissed as her coworkers clapped and cheered. Then Rai whispered something to her. Rai: I believe I have a promise to keep.
