Pokemon: BigRai's Story by BigRai Chapter 3: Inferno's Plight part 1 <>:Pokemon speech Man: I don't know what's wrong with it. It will not battle even to the point of being knocked out. Anyway it is small and discolored I really want to get rid of it. Woman: No problem how's fifty dollars? Man: Sounds good. It was the dead of night when the woman got home. She walked in and through her things on the couch. ???: Rebecca, what kept you? Rebecca: I just had to do some things after work. ???: Well, come on your dinners getting cold. Rebecca sat down and looked up at the big chef in front of the stove. Rebecca: So what is it tonight Daryl? Daryl: I told you never to call me that. Rebecca: Okay Wildfire what's for dinner. The red charizard turned around and set a plate of fried fearow in front of her. Rebecca: Again? Wildfire gave her a mean look and grabbed his plate. Wildfire: Well, until you go out and get some groceries this is all I've got to work with. Rebecca: I'll go tomorrow. Wildfire: Yea right, anyway what is that in your pocket? Rebecca: A pokeball. A man sold me a new pokemon. Wildfire: I wish you wouldn't call us that. So what are you going to do with it? Rebecca: I'll give it a check up tomorrow and bring it home. Wildfire: So have you thought about the tournament next week? Rebecca: Yes, and the answer is still no. Wildfire: Why not? It's a good way to earn some money for the movement. Rebecca: I know but I don't want you going in there at half strength. Wait till next month's battles. Wildfire: I can handle it. Rebecca: No. You are my best friend I will not put you r life in danger for a few dollars. There will be other tournaments. The next day Rebecca walked in to her office and put her lab coat on. She loved her job, in the four years after the monsters were made "pokemon" she did her best to help a little by becoming the countries leading expert on monster health. As she passed all her coworkers she remembered all of her monster friends. She wondered how they were, what they were doing. She walked into a large white room and locked the door behind her. She closed the curtains and brought the pokeball out of her pocket and pushed the white button in front of it. What she saw next astounded her, an almost golden charizard materialized. It was small but very well proportioned and it seemed to be in good health. She slowly walked up to it and touched its scales, it tensed up for a second then relaxed. Its skin was soft not like Wildfire's, this was defiantly a one of a kind monster. Rebecca: Astounding. Do you have a name? ???: Char. Rebecca: Don't speak human? Oh well that's all right my name is Rebecca. My I examine you? The charizard slowly shook its head yes, Rebecca smiled, and began. After a quick check over and finding out that the char was female she recalled the char back and went back to work. That evening she decided to stay late and work with her new monster. After a few hours she coaxed the char to write her name. Rebecca: Inferno, what a name for a char. Where are you from? Inferno scribbled some words the best she could but Rebecca couldn't understand any of it. Rebecca: That's okay can I ask you a personal question? Inferno nodded Rebecca: Have you ever had... She stopped and waited for Inferno who got the message. Inferno happily scribbled down a single word, but when she finished it she broke into tears. Rebecca picked the paper out of the chars hand and red it. Rebecca: [Rai?]
