Rose signing on. No I don’t own Pokemon, so don’t sue me ’cause you won’t get much. After this little intro I’m going to sign off for awhile (on writing the heading and footnotes on each part.) and start typing again. Lately all I’ve been doing is sending the parts I already have and not working on the story, so please don’t be sad (or even worst, mad) at me cause I’m not here, which I am, kinda. But anywho, it time to concentrate more on the story. Ok, so I’ll see you later, after a few parts have passed (not sure how many.) Enjoy the fruits of my labor and read please!

Rose signing off.

A Brief Moment in Time

Part 6

“Pikachu! Pika pika pikachu pik pikachu!” He grabbed onto Brock’s leg and was hugging it. Tears falling from his eyes down his cheeks.

Oh no...

“Hey Pikachu, what are you doing out here with Rose?” Brock then tilts his head. “Have you had a growth spurt without me noticing Pikachu?”

Pikachu looks up at Brock with question in his eyes, then he looks at me. I shake my head franticly. I hope he doesn’t do anything-.

Pikachu goes off running into the forest that Brock had came from.

Oh no...

He looking for Ash.

I run after the mouse Pokemon, leaving my Pokemon and Brock behind. I know it was foolish. They didn’t trust anyone besides me. But if Pikachu finds the campsite...

I come to a sudden halt.

I was on the edge of our camp.

Pikachu sat at the side of Ash’s sleeping bag, tears flowing more heavily.

“Pikachu...” he whispered.

“Pikachu please don’t.”

He looks up at me.

“Pikachu?! Pik pika chu pikachu?!” *What’s going on Rose?! Why are you torturing me?!*

“I, I’m not Pikachu. He really is Ash.”

He looks back at Ash's still sleeping form.

“Pika, pikachu...” *why, what’s happened?*

“Pikachu.”

He won’t look up at me.

“Pikachu, we have the chance to change what happened. Don’t do anything that will jeopardize it.”

He closed his eyes as tears softly run down his cheeks.

“I’ll tell you everything I know later, Pikachu. I promise.”

“Pikachu, pika pi pika pikachu...” *But, I miss him so much...*

Look at Pikachu’s duplicate, sleeping near Ash’s head. “What about him? Are you willing to let him find out that Ash is your trainer? Even worse is that he isn’t now, but he was.”

He stared at Ash for the longest time. My hope of getting him out of the campsite without Ash waking up was starting to dwindle.

“Pi, pika pikachu...” *Come on, let’s go...*

I sigh deeply.

Great. At least Pikachu understands somewhat.

Pikachu hopped onto my shoulder as we leave the two trainers. But Pikachu never looked away from Ash. Only when he couldn’t see Ash’s sleeping form any longer was when he looked ahead.

“Help! Someone help me!”

Brock?

“Come on Pikachu.”

He hops down and we both start running for the clearing. I was kicking myself, mentally

I knew it! I knew I shouldn’t have left them there! Who knows what could have happened.

When we reach the end of the woods I stop. I shake my head to stop my laughing. But Pikachu doesn’t even bother trying to stop. He’s rolling on the ground in laughter at the sight.

Brock, being a Pokemon Breeder, probably was curious of my Pokemon. So when he got too near for comfort, Mystic had wrapped him with her body, which is funny because he was he was trying to wiggle out.

When Pikachu and I stepped out onto the field my Pokemon rushed to my side, as if to defend me from the helpless person they caught spying on us.

“Mystic, let him down.”

“Dragon... air?”

“Yes that’s what I said. Let him down now Mystic.”

Well she did alright. And he went down with a thud.

“Ow.”

I kneel over him, mostly from protection from my Pokemon. They still didn‘t trust him. “Brock? Are you alright?”

He looks up and sees me.

“Now I am.”

What?

I move back slightly, out of surprise. Not because of Brock, because of me.

Later I find out that Pikachu shook his head at Brock’s comment.

“I mean-”

He sits up.

“I meant to say that I’ve had better days.” I see him blush fiercely, even in the dim moonlight. “It’s just that I was zapped by Pikachu then wrapped by Dragonair, kinda takes it out of ya.”

I give him a suspicious look.

Is he actually not trying to hit on me? Huh, go figure.

I sit down next to him, but I hear growls of disagreement from my Pokemon.

I look back and see them in a group behind me, except Pikachu. He was at my side.

“Why are your Pokemon growling at me?” Brock asked bluntly.

I give him a look. “You’re the breeder and you don’t know?”

He scratches his head with his right hand and gives a laugh. “I guess I don’t.”

“They don’t trust anyone but me because-” I cut myself off. Should I tell them about my past?

“Because what?”

I sigh deeply as I look to the ground. I had to do it, I can’t keep on lying. I reach into my pocket and pull out my gold fairylike necklace. My mother’s necklace.

“Brock, I have to tell you something...”

He gives me a sideways glance, but says nothing.

“Brock, you see this?” I hand my necklace to him.

“Yea... what that got to do wi-” I cut him off.

“Brock that the figure of Celebi. It transported me here through time.”

He remained silent.

“Brock, I’m from the future.”
