It's own by other rich people, so you can't sue me! Okay, keep in mind this is only the Prologue, it's not that long. Battles of the Legendaries By Blastoise AAMRN Prologue – Listen to My Story Sparks of flame was emitted out from the burning Magmar as it inhaled air, making its belly expend. Then it exploded with such capacity of flames, burning everything in the way. "Steelix, Dig!" A man with squinty eyes threw out his last Pokemon in haste, jumping out of the hot flame's way. In a flash of white light, a huge metal-rock snake appeared from a small round sphere. It roared as it dived into the cement as if it was soft water, making the earth rumble. The Magmar looked around in concentration when the huge metal-rock snake emerged from ground, attacking the frighten Magmar from below. As a result, the Magmar was sent to the sky, making it out of the battle. The tall man wiped sweat from his forehead as he continued on the tunnel with his companions. A girl in her late teens with a stream of orange-red hair followed closely behind the man. Two other girls, May and Duplica, tagged along them, while Tracey and Gary reared the back. Among all of them, a shadow of gray light flowed with them. Up next, a trainer in a sailor outfit appeared before them, holding out three Lure-Balls. He threw all of them at once, in a flash of blinding white light, three Pokemon were released. Standing in the front, a large turtle with a twin cannon stood and roar intermediately at the enemy. Behind and on left side of the huge Pokemon, a gator-like Pokemon positioned itself. Finally, a large Mud-Fish Pokemon placed itself on the turtle Pokemon's right. "Hydro Pump." The sailor shouted without mercy. The three hostile Pokemon needed no second order as they each shot out heavy pressured water respectively. "Kingdra, Light Screen!" The girl with orange-red hair threw out the Poke- Ball she's clutching. A mystic Water-Dragon appeared with a flash of white light, using its strong scales, Kingdra created a barrier which all of the Pokemon's attacks bounced off harmlessly. "Pikachu, Thunder." A voice commanded. Soon, the darkened tunnel was filled with a blinding yellow light and the cries of injured Pokemon. When everybody open their eyes again, Blastoise, Feraligatr, and Swampert had fainted. Unfortunately for the sailor, he was also caught in the blast and had also fainted. Everyone moved on, continuing through the dark tunnel with Pikachu's Flash ability. Kingdra levitated along with them, eyes glowing to also use its Flash attack. The gray shadow followed them, into the depths of the dark cave... ()()()()() "Fire Blast!" "Hydro Pump!" "Psychic!" Three of the most powerful Pokemon attacks were suddenly released from the darkness beyond. Everyone jumped away from the attack out of their trainer instincts. Pikachu and Kingdra's Flash ability flickered once, then released a stronger light, illuminating the dark tunnel completely. There, at the end of the tunnel, three Pokemon stood. The humans gasped at the sight of these Pokemon and they quickly grasped their Poke-Balls ready. White lights brighten the cave again when five more Pokemon is being release at the same time. A Blastoise, Steelix, Torchick, Venonat, and a Metagross all stood in front of their masters, joining the hovering Kingdra and the lightning-sparking Pikachu. "We up against Legendary Pokemon here, use strategic fighting." Tracey said calmly as he stared hard at the three Legendary Pokemon. He brushed his hair lazily and waited... "Sandstorm!" Brock cried out, 'sandstorm' echoed across in the dark cave. Steelix's whole body glowed a dark brown for a second, and then it picked up a gust of sand, sending it to the Legendary Pokemon. "Here is our chance," Misty said emotionlessly. She looked at the others behind her and nodded. The others nodded back, acknowledging her. Then, in a fierce voice, she yelled with all her rage, "Purifying Annihilation Beam!" At a split second, the groups strongest attacks were released one after the other. Two water bullets were exploded from Blastoise's twin cannons, joined by Pikachu's sizzling electricity. On the left, Torchick unlocked ten thousand degree hot of flames; while on the right, Venonat let lose a devastating Signal Beam. After inhaling, Kingdra breathed out a blue-flame, or the Dragon Rage, that circled all of the attacks. Finally, Metagross' eyes grew a whitish-purple, sending out a psychic blast, merging all of the attacks into one. The Purifying Annihilation Beam was fired after the swirling sandstorm. The beam torn through the air like hot knife on butter, making the dirt ground grew red-hot. Rocks and stones flew to the sides as the beam disappeared into the swirling sandstorm. The trainers and their Pokemon waited, and waited. The sandstorm slowly gave out and the cave cleared up. The humans gasped in awe as they witnessed the results of their strongest attack. At the end of the cave, a purple energy barrier stood. Mewtwo, Groundon, and Kyogre stood harmlessly behind it, growling angrily. The same three attacks were released again from the respective Pokemon. Fire Blast, Hydro Pump, and Psychic trekked its way over to the humans. Before the humans met their faith, an energy barrier appeared around them, in a split second, they were gone. ()()()()() Six humans sat quietly, they stared silently at the campfire they are circling. The air was dead, with the burning smell of ashes. They all shifted uneasily with things on their minds. Duplica laid down on the rocky field, gazing upon the cloudless sky, hoping and wishing all this madness will stop... Tracey shook his head tiredly, closing his exhausted eyes to block out the memory of defeat. He then opened his battered eyes and fixed them toward the ground, thinking and thinking... Brock picked up a rock from the ground and holds it in his hands. He also shut his eyes; he squeezed the rock in his palms, letting all of the anger flow through him. Not surprisingly, the hard rock was crushed... May extended her hands closer to the fire, warming her ice-cold hands. She had a serious look on her face, contrasting the carefree features she normally had... Holding it in front of himself, Gary looked at a photograph of his family. His eyes slightly moist as memories brought him back to his childhoods. He felt both happy and sad at the same time... Caring the injured Pokemon next to her, Misty sat cross-legged on the rocky field. She carelessly brushed her stream of orange-red hair as she took another look at the wounded Celebi. It had used all of its power to help them. Misty raised her head slowly as she felt a hand on her shoulder. She nodded to the gray shadow and forced out a halfhearted smile. The shadow also seemed to be smiling, but sharing the same attitude as Misty. The shadow walked up to a low cliff and stared at the city below him. A city of ruins, this used to be Pallet Town. Pallet Town wasn't a big city, but it was a nice one for both human and Pokemon to live peacefully together. Pallet was destroyed a long time ago, by my enemies; no, by our enemies. It used to be my hometown, Gary's too. Why was it destroyed, I really wanted to know. Maybe it was our fault, maybe it was the Pokemon's fault; or maybe it was, destiny... This whole 'destiny' thing, I didn't want to take part in. I mean, saving the world is easier said then done. Sure, I saved the world couple of times, but it was never as complicated as this. I don't want to drag my friend into this, mostly I don't want to drag her into this... And thus a second journey began for me. Except this one was no fun and no capturing Pokemon. This journey is the journey of a champion; the journey of the Chosen One... Listen to my story; because this, maybe our last chance... To Be Continued So did you like it? Part one is coming right up!
