Here is part 2 of Dreams Can Be A Reality.

-----Ketchum Residence-----

After few minutes of walking, Ash is finally there, Professor Oak’s laboratory. Ash felt silly holding a family-size bottle of ketchup, he tried to stuff the ketchup bottle into his pocket, but the bottle was too big. Ash climbs the stair two steps at a time, arriving at the two story white building.

Ash rings the doorbell, after a while, an elderly man stood in front of the doorway.

“Hi Ash, good to see you. You come here to get your first Pokemon?” Ash replies with a nod. “I am sorry, but all of the starter Pokemon are taken.” The elderly man said, putting his hands into his lab coat pockets. The old man’s eyes trail down to the ketchup Ash is holding. “Why are you carrying that bottle of ketchup?”

“Uh, this is for Pikachu, he hasn’t been taken, right?” Ash anxiously asks, crossing his fingers behind him.

“How do you know about Pikachu?”

“Professor Oak, I just know. Is he taken?”

        “No, come on in.”

Ash walks in Professor Oak’s cozy house. They take the staircase up to Professor Oak’s laboratory. At the center of the room, there is a round electrical fort holding three pokeballs.

“Uh, can I have Pikachu now?” Ash asks.

“Sure,” Professor Oak press a red button on the fort and a hole opens up, he reaches down a grab a pokeball. “Ash, meet Pikachu.” Professor Oaks releases Pikachu.

“Pika?” The Pikachu asks. It has no idea why it is outside of its pokeball, but then again, it had always hated it.

“Pikachu! How cute, we are going to be the best of friends.” Ash said, holding Pikachu.

Electricity sparks at Pikachu’s cheeks, ready to shock Ash. “Hey, hey, don’t shock me. Here, have some ketchup.” Ash opens the ketchup bottle and hand it to Pikachu.

The little electric rodent sniff the ketchup in front him, and decides to taste it. Pikachu licks the ketchup and instantly falls in love with it. He now is hugging the ketchup happily.

“So Pikachu, are you going to be my friend?” Ash asks, picking up Pikachu.

This human is nice, why not? Pikachu nods.

“I can’t believe it! Ash, how do you know that Pikachu like ketchup?” Professor Oak exclaims, taking out a notebook to take notes.

“Lucky guess?” Ash said with a goofy face on, disappointing the eager professor.

-----Street in Pallet-----

On the way back to Ash’s house, Pikachu continues to eat his precious ketchup.

“Pikachu, you don’t like to be in a pokeball, right?”

        Pikachu nods.

“Then I won’t make you go inside a pokeball.” Ash said cheerfully, making Pikachu smile at him.

Ash and Pikachu enter the Ketchum residence and Ash bellows, “Mom, me and my Pokemon are home!”

Mrs. Ketchum runs out and sees the Pikachu on Ash’s shoulder, “This is your Pokemon?”

        “Yeah mom.”

“Shouldn’t Pokemon stay in their pokeball?”

“Pikachu doesn’t like staying in his pokeball.” Ash said, looking at his Pikachu, who is still eating the ketchup, “mom, do we have any ketchup in the house?”

“No, but I think your little Pikachu will like my cooking.” Mrs. Ketchum said, looking at her watch, “You may want to start packing for school, which starts on Monday.”

“Mom, it Saturday, besides, I still got one day!” Ash whines, scratching Pikachu’s back fur.

“You may want to spend the day with your Pikachu to get to know each other better before school starts. So pack everything before dinner, okay?” It wasn’t a question, it was more of a command.

“Okay,” Ash said in a defeated voice. He and his Pikachu climb the stairs and went into Ash’s room.

“Okay Pikachu, this is my room. You are sleeping here.” Ash said, looking in his closet for his suitcase. “Ah, here we go.” Ash pulls out an old black suitcase and opens it, the dust inside the suitcase flies everywhere.

Ash and Pikachu keep on coughing until they went out of the room. After a while, they went back in and Ash starts going through his closet to pack for school. He packed T-shirts, jeans, jackets, socks, undershirts, and ‘you-know-whats’. Ash picks out the clothing and Pikachu stuff it into the suitcase.

Ash finally finishes packing his clothing and decides to take a short nap before dinner.

-----Cerulean City Gym / Waterflower Residence-----

Swimming in a large private pool, a girl with bright orange hair and aqua-green eyes toys around with her Pokemon. A healthy Goldeen uses its fins to playfully slap water toward a Poliwhirl. Staryu and Horsea don’t want to be left out of a water fight, decide to jump in and cause a huge splash. A Psyduck standing away from the pool looks at its friends play happily in the water with great jealousy.

The girl in pool instantly senses that her Psyduck is in dismay, and she knows why: her Psyduck can’t swim. The girl moves her way through the water with ease and arrives to her Psyduck.

“Don’t feel bad Psyduck, I know you will learn to swim some day.” The girl speaks her mind, trying to cheer up her friend. Psyduck looks disappointedly at its own reflection in the water, and then it sits down. Psyduck said dully, “Duck.”

Before the girl could make any more attempts to cheer up her Pokemon, a woman in her mid-thirties sticks her head through the doorway. “Misty, wash up for dinner.”

“Okay mom.” Misty replies as she gets out of the pool and grabs the towel on the bench and dries herself. She watches her Pokemon swims in front of her, waiting to be returned. Returning her Pokemon back into their pokeballs, Misty climbs her way to her room.

After a quick shower, Misty gets dress in the steamy bathroom. Pulling her hair back to a ponytail, Misty sprints down to the living room with her pokeballs. Misty walks up to a tank probably the size of a tennis field, (big living room, very big living room) releasing all her Pokemon in the tank with other Water Pokemon other than Psyduck, Misty gets Pokemon food and feeds everyone.

At the dinner table, the Waterflower family sits down and starts to eat the delicious meal prepared by Mrs. Waterflower. A conversation arouses as the family eats.

“Misty, have to packed everything for Pokemon Trainer’s School?” Mr. Waterflower questions.

“Yes, dad, for the third time.” Misty is getting annoyed with her parents. Misty is always treated like a baby, but then again, Misty is the youngest in the family and she doesn’t mind the attention.

“That’s my girl. How about you three? Daisy? Lily? And Violet?” Mr. Waterflower asks again.

“Like, we need more, like, suitcases.” Daisy answers, the other two nods their heads in agreement. Misty rolls her eyes; her sister used three suitcases all together, only packing shoes and hair products.

“You three only pack what you need,” Mrs. Waterflower lectures, “You guys are going to a school, not a vacation.”

“But mom! We need those, can we, like, use dad’s suitcases?” Violet asks, giving her parents the puppy dogface. She watches as her parents give in.

“Alright, alright. We go through this every year.” Mr. Waterflower sighs as the three sisters exchange glances of victory. Thinking of only one thing, The Sensational Sister rules!

-----Pallet Town Hills-----

The next day is a blast, Ash and Pikachu went to the nearest lake and play with the wild Pokemon. Ash became friends with many wild Pokemon, and he also caught many wild Pokemon with the pokeballs he received from Professor Oak. He caught a Charmander, a Squirtle, a Bulbasaur, and a Pidgeotto. This is like a dream come true, too bad I got to go to school tomorrow, but I am sure that I can make tons of new friends.

-----Viridian City Streets-----

“Sweetie, I am going to miss you.” Mrs. Ketchum said, taking her eyes off the road for a second to look at his son. Ash is playing with Pikachu, besides them, four pokeballs roll on the car sit as the convertible makes a sharp turn.

“I am going to miss you too, mom.” Ash said sadly as the convertible pulls into a massive parking lot. Ash and Pikachu peek out the window, other teenagers with their Pokemon, are heading to one direction, the Pokemon Trainer’s School.

Ash gets out of the car, but not before securing all the pokeballs on his pokebelt. Mrs. Ketchum also gets out of the car and opens the trunk. Yanking his suitcase out of the car trunk, he gave his mom a hug.

“Ash, stay out of troubles, and don’t forget to change your you-know-what everyday.” Mrs. Ketchum reminds. Pikachu laughs at the comment. “And Pikachu, try to keep Ashy-boy out of trouble.” Pikachu nods.

“Mom, I am not a baby anymore, I am fourteen!” Ash reminds his mother. Some times Ash wonders does his mom really means it when she tells him to change his underwear or if his mom is joking around.

“Be a good boy and bring home those A’s.” Mrs. Ketchum said, looking on the teens passing by, and then she spots a pair of attractive girls. Mrs. Ketchum whispers, “It’s also okay to bring home a girl.” Mrs. Ketchum giggles as Ash blushes.

        “Mom!”

“You sure you don’t want me to go in there with you?” Mrs. Ketchum asks quickly, in hope to change the subject. She watches as her son gives it a thought, then…

“No thanks, I think I can handle it.” Ash’s tone wasn’t arrogant, it was more like confidence.

“Be a good boy and keep out of trouble,” Mrs. Ketchum repeats again. Ash nods his head constantly, ignoring his mother. Ash looks at his watch anxiously, if his mom doesn’t stop talking, he’s going to he late.

“Mom!” Ash had to yell to get his mother’s attention, “For the last time, I am going to be a good boy and do everything you says, ‘kay?” Ash then ponders for a moment, “Well, maybe except the girl part, just maybe.”

Mrs. Ketchum waves to her son, mouthing ‘good bye’. Ash gets the message and wave back, also mouthing back ‘good bye’.

Ash walks slowly toward the school while half dragging, half carrying the suitcase. Ash stops at the front gate, which is the entrance of school. “Well, Pikachu, here we go.”

-----Pokemon Trainer’s School (PTS)-----

Ash pants as he drags his luggage to the administrative office. To Ash’s misfortune, there is a long line of students. Wonder if Duplica is here? May be Gary is also here. Duplica is a friend of Ash’s, whose mom is friend of Ash’s mom. Is a weird connection if you think about it. Pikachu, who’s jumping from Ash’s left shoulder to the right, is attracting many attentions from other students…

Ash walks up to the counter as he heard ‘NEXT!’, whoever yelling this must have had a bad day. Before Ash could say anything, the lady asks, “Name and the place you’re from.”

“Ash Ketchum, from Pallet Town.” Ash answers, then he sees the lady click on the mouse to locate his file.

“Ash? Here is your schedule and your dorm number, don’t lose it. You then need to go to the book room to get your books.” The lady said as he hands Ash a piece paper. Then suddenly the lady yells, “NEXT!” Making Ash and Pikachu jump.

-----Pokemon Trainer’s School / Dorms-----

“Let’s see, building C, room 189, here we go.” Ash said, looking at a wooden door with the number 189 on. Ash turns the knob and walks in his room. The room is not that bad, two beds, Ash assume that’s for his roomy, and much other furniture. Ash dumps his suitcase next to a bed and let gravity do its job as he falls down on the soft bed. The other bed is occupied with a suitcase. Looks like my roomy is already here. Well, no time to lose, gotta get those books. “Come on Pikachu.”

Ash travels across the campus, trying to locate the book room. Holding a map in front of it, Pikachu is shouting out directions. After many twists and turns, Ash arrives at a gray building with students entering and exiting occasionally.

“Pikachu, you sure that this is the book room? Let me see the map.” Ash takes the map from Pikachu. While confirming their current locations, Ash walks forward without looking who is in front of him.

        “Owch.”

Ash hears some said as he bumps into them. Ash folds the map quickly to see an attractive girl before of him. Without a thought, Ash apologizes. “Sorry, let me pick up your books for you.” Ash kneels down and reaches for the books.

The girl smiles at him, “That’s okay.” The girl also bends down to pick out the book. At the last one, their hands both reach for it and touch each other’s hand accidentally, making them both blush. They both quickly stand up and Ash hands her the books. Ash looks at the girl in front of him. She’s wearing a blue tank top that shows her bellybutton, and a pair light blue jean with the sneakers to match. Ash further examines her face and then he remembers something…

-----Ash’s Dream-----

“Ash, Ash! Wake up.” Misty shakes the unconscious Ash. “Ash, you can’t die yet!” Misty said as tears moisten her eyes.

Ash turns from the scene on the floor to Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar, “I’d love to stay and play with you guys, but I have to go back to my friends.” He and Pikachu flies down the room where their own bodies lay unconscious and straight into the comfort of their own bodies.

Both Ash and Pikachu stir and their eyes snap open. “You’re alive!” Misty cries out of joy, tiny tears hanging at the side of her eyes, Misty wiped them away; embarrassed to be seen crying. She felt a tint of heat rise to her face as a shade of pink shown on her face………

-----Reality-----

“You-you’re that girl! Your name is Misty, right?” Ash looks at her. Her hair, her eyes, and her features, precisely like the girl I saw in my dream. But it was only a dream right? Is it?

Misty puts on a puzzled expression, “Yes, my name is Misty, but who are you?” Misty stares at the cute boy in front of her, questions arose inside of her. Who’s this cute guy? How does he know my name?

“Misty, you seriously don’t know who I am.” Ash chokes; it was more of a statement then a question. Ash watches Misty as she tries her best to summon up any memories.

“Nope, sorry.” Misty finally said, looking at the crestfallen boy. “But you can tell me how you know my name.” Misty is attempted to cheer up whoever this boy is.

“You won’t believe me.” Ash said sadly as he wanders off. Misty puts a hand on his shoulder, making him stop. Ash turns around to see Misty smiling at him. What do you know? She also has the same personality as the Misty in my dream.

“Believing you or not is my decision. Please tell me, I really want to know.” Misty looks in his chocolate brown eyes, hoping that she persuaded him.

“Okay.” Ash cheers up a little when he sees Misty smiles at him. Who knows? Maybe she could be my best friend in real life just like in my dream.
