-----Pokemon Trainer’s School / Book Room-----

"You’re taking Pokemon Nursing?" Ritchie muffles down a laugh, "I thought that class is for girls." Ritchie said, looking incredulously at Ash's schedule.

"They ran out of spaces in Physical Education." Ash said sadly, accepting the books from lady. Ash sighs as he feels the massive weight of his textbooks. "Hey, what's this?"

"That's the student manual. All the rules of the school are in there. Read them, learn them, and follow them." The lady said.

"Great. More rules." Ash moan with skepticism.

"Classes starts next week, right?" Ritchie asks the lady.

"That's right, you get one week to relax before school." The lady said cheerfully.

Ash and Ritchie exits the book room. Ash flips through the manual, "Listen to this. Students are allowed to carry only one Pokemon with he or she. The Pokemon must stay in their Pokeball at all times."

"Sorry Sparky, can't have you with me."

        "You too Pikachu."

The Pikachu's ears drop to show their misery. The two Pikachu jumps off their master's shoulders and ran back to the dorm. Ash and Ritchie yells after them, "Don't get into trouble."

Ash's stomach growls. Ash scratches his head, laughing. "Lunch time."

-----Pokemon Trainer's School / Cafeteria-----

Ash and Ritchie sits down at an empty table with their launch trays. The cafeteria is filled with students eating, talking, and laughing. Ritchie's head looks at the entrance of the cafeteria. "Hey Ash. Who's that?"

Ash looks around puzzled, "Who? Where?"

"At the doorway," Ritchie hiss in a low tone.

Ash turns his head to the doorway. He only sees Duplica looking around, she seems that she can't find a place to sit and eat her lunch. "Oh, you mean the girl with green hair? Her name is Duplica." Ash watches Ritchie blush. Ash stands up and yells across the cafeteria. "Duplica! Over here!"

"What are you doing?" Ritchie asks furiously, heat starts to rise on his face. Ritchie get more nervous as Duplica starts walking over to them.

"I am doing you a favor." Ash whisper as Duplica had made her way over. "Duplica, this is my friend Ritchie. Ritchie? This is Duplica." Ash watch as the two say ‘hi' to each other. "Why don't you two do lunch together, I see some one I know." Ash stands up and walks away.

Damn you Ash! Ritchie thoughts. He nervously smiles at Duplica as his blush on his face becomes a deeper red.

-----Pokemon Trainer's School-----

Time flies when you are having fun. Ash, and his new friends, Ritchie, Misty, and Duplica, spent much time clowning around together. Ash and his friends make use of their spare time exploring the campus. The school is awfully large in size, giving students a great deal of room to learn and fool around. They all liked the school very much, but they also have many dislikes.

One of the rules they hate the most is no exiting the campus ground during the school nights. Even the school is huge, being trapped in makes them yearn for the weekends more then the usual. As is only on weekends that the students are allow to exit the school grounds.

Ash had made many friends in a short time, all of them he had met before, in his dream. There's Brock, Tracey, and a lot more. What confuses him most is that he also met Rudy. Misty introduced Rudy to him, saying that Rudy is a close personal friend to her. Ash recollects his memory, absolutely positive that Rudy is a gym leader, but definitely no the gym leader of Cerulean. Ash then just shrug, admitting to himself that there's no way anything would go wrong.

How wrong is he? Very wrong.

After comparing their schedules, the four friends found themselves having most of their classes being the same time and same teacher, thus giving them each other's company. The most important class is the Battle Technique class. It teaches everything about Pokemon battling. From how to catch and train a Pokemon, to battling and getting experience.

Other classes like Pokemon Breeding, Pokemon History, Pokemon Watching, even, to Ash's loathe, Pokemon Nursing, is also very essential to any and every Pokemon trainer.

Is not that Ash hate the class, is that Pokemon Nursing is supposed to be for girls only, and Ash is putted into that class.

-----Pokemon Nursing Classroom-----

"Hi everybody, my name is Nurse Joy, and I'll be your Pokemon Nursing teacher." Nurse Joy, in a white uniform, smiles at the class full of eager students. She then turns to the black board, and writes ‘Nurse Joy' on the black board. "You may address me as ‘Nurse Joy'."

"Before I get started on today's lesson-" Nurse Joy is cut short by a loud banging noise on the closed door of the classroom. Nurse Joy inhales a great deal of air, before she says, "Come in."

Ash opens the door; holding he schedule, he glance around the classroom full of girls. Ash walks over to Nurse Joy, "Is this the Nursing Class?"

"Yes it is, how can I help you?"

"Uh, sorry, I am late for this class, here is my schedule." Ash offers his schedule to Nurse Joy, who takes it and give it a hard look. Ash turn around and face a full room of girls with a questioning looks on their face. "They ran out rooms in PE!" Ash answers annoyingly at the room of girls.

All the girls, including Misty and Duplica, laugh at Ash's helpless situation. To make matters worse, some girl at the back of the room said out loud, "Hey look, Nurse of the future generation!"

Everybody but Ash laughed. Ash could feel the heat rise on his already red face. Finally, Nurse Joy stops laughing and quiets the class down.

"Okay class, quiet down. Ash, take a sit, any sit you want." Nurse Joy said, urging Ash to move.

Ash looks over to Misty, there's an empty sit besides her so he decides to sit next to her. Ash sits down next to Misty, smiling at her. Feeling a little better that the attention is not on him any more. Little did he know, how wrong is he.

For the rest of the period, every student in the room teased and taunted Ash, making him extremely aggravated. To Ash's disbelieve, Misty had also join the fun, saying it is an opportunity too good to pass up.

"Cheer up Ash, we're only joking." Misty whispers to Ash at the near end of the period. "Well, at least I was."

Ash rolls his eyes impassively, ignoring a comment thrown by a girl sitting behind him. Hoping the bell would ring so he could get out of here, he looks at the girl behind him with utmost repulsion.

-----Forest of Love-----

At the afternoon, Ash's luck gets better once he gets to his favorite class, Battle Technique. This class is actually the favorite of everybody's for couple of reasons. Reason number one, their classes are mostly held outside of school grounds, giving the students a chance to see the outside world.

The second reason is that the teacher of this class is very nice. "The name's Jerry, Jerry Lancer. All of you may just call me Jerry if you like." Jerry is about 175 cm tall, at the age of twenty-one. "We are going to the Forest of Love."

All of the students are very interested at the Forest of Love. "Um, Jerry? Why do tell call this forest The Forest of Love?" Duplica asks, looking around for Pokemon once they enter the forest.

"Ah, good question Duplica." Jerry turns and smiles at the class. "A rumor goes by that destined couples will fall in love when they enter the forest and see the unique Pokemon that could be only found in this forest. What that Pokemon is? Nobody ever found out."

Jerry watches the students whisper to one another, some stealing glances at their closer friends. "Okay, what we're doing day is learn how to catch a Pokemon." Jerry pauses to look at the students' faces grow in eagerness.  "I know some of you already know how to catch one while some of you don't. I could teach you how, but I won't. I believe that learning on your own is the best way to teach. However, if you need any help, come back here to ask me to help."

"All of you will break into groups of two, then go in the forest and find a Pokemon and capture it. Then report back to me, at the end of the day, whoever team have the strongest Pokemon gets extra credit and no homework for the day."

The students cheer, getting excited by the methods of Jerry's teaching. Jerry smiles at the crowd of exuberant students, and then he looks at his watch. "You have three hours to do it. Find a partner and good luck to you all."

"How about we just go with the person on our left," Ash smiles, looking at Misty who's standing at the left of him. Misty giggles at Ash's antics and can't help to blush a little, of course, she turns away to hide the blush from everybody.

"You wanna come with me?" Ritchie asks, with a hoping tone, looks at Duplica.

"Cool, let's go." Duplica innocently takes Ritchie's hand and pulls him in the forest, Sparky hangs on Ritchie's jacket for its dear life. They both run into the forest, ignoring the comments throw by Ash and Misty that goes something like this, "Look, they're already taking affect from the forest, because they're the ‘destined couple'."

"Come on Misty, we can't lose to them!" Ash said enthusiastically, beckoning Misty to follow him. But for some reason, Misty won't move. "Misty, what's up?"

Misty didn't move or respond to Ash's question.

"Ohh, I get it. You scare of the bugs." Ash said after giving a though to it. "Don't worry, me and Pikachu will protect you."

That did the trick, Misty looked a lot happier, "Promise?" Ash and Pikachu replies by giving her a nod. Ash takes his hand out for Misty, and said in a singsong voice, "Come on Misty, the bugs are waiting for you."

Misty decides to ignore that. Taking Ash's hand, they walks into the forest together. "Hey Ash?" Misty asks as they walk deeper into the forest, "How did you know I am scared by bugs?"

It seems that Misty had already forgot what Ash told her about his dream. It's rather not very surprising because Ash had never brought it up in any of their conversations. The only person and Pokemon Ash told about his dream is Pikachu and Misty.

"Don't you remember?" Ash asks when they pass through a herd of Heracross, "I dreamed about you… or so to speak." Ash takes his free hand and scratches the back of his head, still hasn't realized that he's holding hand with Misty.

Misty giggles at Ash, for being dense and cute at the same time. They then continue walking, completely lost in the forest. "Great." Misty said sarcastically, "We're lost, and it is all your fault."

"My fault, that's not my fault."

        "Yes it is."

        "No it is not."

        "Yes it is."

        "No it is not."

"Yes it is."

"No it is not." Then suddenly, Ash starts to laugh out loud. Misty looks at Ash with bewilderment. Ash cloches his stomach and laugh harder, rolling about on the ground.

"What are you laughing at?" Misty can't help but laugh along with Ash. The stunt Ash just pulled surprises Misty. One minute their were arguing, the next their laughing wholeheartedly.

After the lack of oxygen in his lungs, Ash decides to stop laughing and starts to breath hard. "You know my dream? We had always argued, just like the argument we just had now. After arguing, we don't even know what we argued about at the first place."

Misty listens with interests, wanting to learn more about Ash's and her relationship according to his dream. "You're serious? Wait the minute, what did we argue about anyways?"

"All I know is that this happens everyday, almost like a daily routine. If we didn't have an argument a day, one of us is not feeling well. It's like arguing is the only way we communicate, you know?" Ash said, looking at Misty's dazzling eyes.

"I must be the person you hate the most? I mean, in your dream." Misty said sadly, looking down at the ground.

"No, I would never hate you. In fact, you were my best friend." Ash said happily, then he notice Pikachu. "Best human friend that is." Ash pats the happier Pikachu on his hat.

Misty's smile grows wider as she hears Ash say that. Feeling Ash is not just an ordinary boy with a common aspiration, be the best Pokemon Master ever. Whether she realizes it or not, Misty grew a liking to him. "Will you tell me all about you dream, please?"

"Sure, but don't get bored, I am not much of a story teller." Ash said in cheerfully, his eyes glisten with enthusiastic. They walk deeper into the forest, minding nothing but the wonderful story Ash is telling. They're completely lost into the deep forest, but some time being lost is the best way to explore. They still have their hands held.

"So these guys showed up, they called Team Rocket, and they tried to steal my Pikachu. There's a long hair woman named Jessie, a blue hair man named James, and a Meowth that knows how to talk. They have this motto, and they say it every time they show up."

        "What's the motto?"

"Prepare for trouble." A voice said, this is a woman's voice.

"Make it double." Another voice said, this is a man's voice.

"To protect the world from devastation."

"To unit all people within our nation."

"To denounce the evils of truth and love.

"To extend our reach to the starts above."

        "Jessie."

        "James."

"Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light."

"Surrender now or prepare to fight."

        "Meowth, dat's right."

"I presume these three are them?" Misty asks with a sweat drop on the back of her head.

"Their motto is pretty lame, but you'll get use to it." Ash said, looking at the trio with laziness.

"Hey twerp! Who do you think you are?! Our motto is definitely not lame!" Jessie, the tempered woman yells at the Ash.

"Jess, look at da twerp's Pikachu, let's get it!" Meowth said enthusiastically, pointing at Pikachu. James agree entirely, getting his Pokeball ready.

"Hand over the rat!" James said, holding a rose in his hand.

"Come on Pikachu, you get beat these guys any day." Ash encourages Pikachu to battle. Pikachu jumps off Ash and stands on its four legs, ready to battle.

"Oh, you guys want to do this the hard way. Go Arbok!"

        "You too, Weezing!"

"Alright Pikachu, our first real battle, let's show them what we're made of. Thunder Bolt!" Ash shouts, pointing at the trio who is oblivious to what's going to happen to them.

"Team Rocket is blasting off again!" The trio flies up the sky as the Thunder Bolt made contact, electrocuting them.

"So that's the ‘infamous' Team Rocket?" Misty asks with a sweat drop on her head. Misty looks up the sky trying to locate the trio, almost feeling sorry for them, almost.

"Yep, they're so stupid, I have respect for them." Ash said sarcastically, making Misty laugh. Ash looks straight ahead, "Look! There's a pond here. Misty, you could fish for water Pokemon!"

"You're right! But, but I didn't bring my rod." Misty's smile disappearing. She looks at the pond, full of water Pokemon, yet she can't catch any of them.

"You wanna just sit down and, and talk…?" Ash gathers all the courage within him, asking nervously. Misty smiles at nod, showing that she also want to talk.

They all release their Pokemon and let them roam in the wild, playing with other Pokemon friends.

They sit down cross-legged, looking at each other. Misty can't help but think, he's so… unique. One minute he's all hyped and loud, then the next minute he's so gentle and romantic. Do I want him to be more than a friend?

They stayed there, talking. Not knowing to them, they're being followed and watched.

-----Pokemon Trainer's School / Campus-----

"Aww, this dress is so cute!" Giselle said to herself. She flips the page of the magazine she's holding. "Poke-Fashion" in big red letters writes across the cover page. "Too bad I don't got enough money for it." Giselle sighs as she closes the magazine.

"You need a job? It pays well." A voice suddenly said behind Giselle, making her jump. Giselle slowly turns around, seeing a man standing in the shadow. Making his appearance undetectable.

"What do I need to do?" Giselle asks a little louder, covering the fright in her tone from the stranger. Giselle grips on her magazine a little harder as a chill runs down her spine.

"Do you know a boy name Ash Ketchum?" The stranger growls as he mentions the name "Ash Ketchum".

"I know him. He's one of my friend's friend."

"Good. I want you to make him fall in love with you and then break his heart." The stranger said. Giselle can trace anger in his tone.

Giselle narrows her eyes as she thinks about it. "I don't know, that seems sorta evil."

        "It pays good."

"Okay, I'll do it!" Giselle finally answers, but she feel sad for Ash. Sorry Ketchum. Don't blame me, blame the guy who told me to do this.
