Hi, guys, this is the Charter 2-Part 1, please enjoy.

Narrator:  Our heroes are one step closer to their dreams.  Brock is already announced as the World’s Greatest Pokemon Breeder when he entered Ash’s Pikachu at the Annual World Competition of Poke-Breeders.  In the Poke-daily magazine, Mary interviews Misty when her Poliwhirl evolved into a Politoe and saved the Radio Tower from Team Rocket.  In the interview, Mary said that Misty would be the future Sam Waterson.  Known by all Pokemon trainers and Pokemon researcher, Ash Ketchum became famous few weeks after the unbelievable victory over Sam Waterson.  Newspapers, magazines, and televisions predicted Ash would be the next Pokemon Champion.

“Ash, it is so cold!” Misty, shivers as a Golbat flaps its way pass them in the dark cave.

“Here, wear my jacket.” Ash said, taking off his jacket and handing it to Misty.

“What about you?”  Misty asks with a worry on her face, and not taking the jacket.

“I will be fine, after all those ice mountain claming and the battling with Ice type Pokemon, I am sort of anti-ice.  Wear the jacket before you get a cold.”  Ash gives the jacket to Misty.

“Thanks.”  Misty said with an uncertainty.

They continued walking, after a while…

        “Pika Pika!” (Ash! Misty!)

“Pikachu! Did you find anything?”  Ash said as his electric mouse jumps into his arm.  Pikachu just shakes his head from left to right.  Suddenly, Pikachu’s ears shot up, then Pikachu jumps off Ash’s arms and run straight ahead, into the darkness.

“What’s the matter, Pikachu?”  Ash reaches his hand toward his Poke-Balls, “Cyndquil, use your flame on your back to light the way!”

        “Good thinking, Ash.” Misty said.

They run after Pikachu, Ash almost trip on the slickly ice surface.  Then they hear something.

“Pikachu Pika!”  Ash tries to figure out what the Pikachu saying, but this Pikachu’s voice is different from his Pikachu.  A moment later, two Pikachu walks back.  One is Ash’s, and the other one has a cool hair.

“Isn’t this Sparky, Ritchie’s Pikachu?”  Ash asks Misty.

“Yeah, it is!  Then Ritchie must be near by.”  Misty said.

Then they hear a voice, a human voice faintly echoing somewhere far away.  “Sparky! Sparky! Where are you Sparky?”

“Pikachu!” The other Pikachu yells back.

Then they see a figure running towards them.  Closer and closer, “Ritchie!”  Ash bellows.

“Ash! And my Sparky! Are you okay Sparky?” Ritchie asks.

        “Pika Pika!”

“Your Pikachu is fine. So, how long has it been since we meet last time?” Misty asks.

“A long time,” Ritchie said as he picks up Sparky.

“Do you know how to get out of this ice cave, I am freezing.”  Ash said, rubbing his shoulders.

“I thought you said you don’t mind the cold. Here, take back your jacket.” Misty said, taking off the jacket.

“Put it on, Misty, you’ll get a cold. Besides, I got Cyndaquil to warm me up, right Cyndaquil?” Ash said.

        “Cynda! Cynda!”

“So do you know how to get out of here?”

“Yes, I just came here from Blackthorn City and try to catch some Ice types.  Just follow me and I will lead the way out.”

After half hour of twisting and turning, they see a bright light from the end of the cave.  They all dash for that direction, and there they are, Blackthorn City, home of the eighth and final badge of the Jotho League.

“I am going to challenge the gym leader right now!” Ash said excitedly.

        “Pi Pikachu!” (Right on!)

“It’s not that easy.” Ritchie said.

        “Why not?”

“Every floor there is two trainer, correction, two dragon trainers, and both of the trainer sends out a Pokemon, it will be like a two-on-two battles.  But the catch is that you need to find another trainer to be your partner. After you defeat the trainer on a floor, you advance a floor. There is a total of five floors and every floor the trainers are harder the lasts.” Ritchie said.

“How am I going to find a partner for the two-on-two battles?” Ash asks.

“Hello? Ritchie is standing right in front of you.” Misty said, very annoyed.

“Oh, yeah, so let go and kick some butt!” Ash said.

“I think we need to heal our Pokemon first.” Ritchie said.

“Right, and I’ll change some Pokemon for the battle too.” Ash said.

And so they head towards the Pokemon Center.  Along the way, the two Pikachu is having their own conversation, they occasionally look at both Ash and Misty and starts giggling.

“What do think they are saying?” Misty asks Ash.

        “You never know.”

About ten minutes later, they arrive at the Pokemon Center.  The Pokemon Center is relatively empty; Nurse Joy and Chancy stand behind a large screen T.V. watching the health channel. As soon as Nurse Joy realize the gang enter, she resumes her position and is ready to treat any sick Pokemon.

“Hi, welcome to Blackthorn City’s Pokemon Center. Please make yourselves comfortable. And may I ask is anybody here goes by the name ‘Ash Ketchum’?” Nurse Joy asks.

“That would be me.” Ash said.

“I have a message for you. Professor Oak of Pallet Town wants you to call him as soon as you can.”

“Thank you, and can you please heal my and friend’s Pokemon?” Ash asks politely.

        “No problem.”

Ash and Misty walk to the lobby and sit down, face to face.

        “Where is Ritchie?” Ash asks.

“He went out to observe the city, or at least that what he told me.” Misty said, she put her head on her hand and stares boringly at Ash. “What does the Professor wants any ways?”

“I dunno, may be he wants to me send him one of my Pokemon so he could do research on it.” Ash said, getting up and moving to the videophones.

“Hello, Ash? It that you, Ash?” Professor Oak said on the other end of the line, through the monitor, Ash could see that Professor Oak is trying the fight off his Muk.

“Yes, Professor Oak, its me. So why you want me to call you?”

“Brock heard you got your seventh Jotho badge, and he knows you are going the final one, right?”

“Yes.” Ash said slowly.

“Well, he think you will need all the fire power you can get in the match and also in the Pokemon League so he personally went to Charific Valley to get your Charizard back! I can transfer Charizard to you right now.”

“I can’t believe it! Seriously?”

“Seriously. Since you have six Pokemon with you, you need to send at least one back. So which one you want to send back?” Professor Oak asks.

“I’ll send back Cyndaquil and Noctowl, can you also send Snorlax to me?” Ash asks impatiently.

“No problem.”

They both put the Poke-Balls on the teleporter, and after a jolt of electricity, the Poke-Balls are teleported.

“I got Noctowl and Cyndaquil.”

“I got Charizard and Snorlax. Please say thanks to Brock for me, okay Professor Oak.”

“Sure thing, I hope you get that badge, Ash. Your mother and I will be rooting for you. Good bye.”

“Okay, thank you, bye.”

Ash walks back to Misty. “What happened?” Misty asks, “I saw you jumping up and down over there.”

Ash explains everything real fast and runs out of the Pokemon Center, “Poke-Ball, go!” After a flash of white light, a Charizard came out.

“Welcome back, old friend.”
