Hi, people. First of All, i want to thank all of you who reviewed my fic, so thanks! Second of all, the delay was cause by writters block.
And finally, please enjoy part 5: The Discovery.
Here it is.

"Morning guys." Tracy jumps off from the top bunk of the bunk bed and starts to wake everybody up.

"What's the deal?" Misty asks sleepily.

"I guess that I just got used to waking up early at Professor Oak's, besides, it good for you." Tracy said, stretching his arms and legs.

The others pay no attention to Tracy and go right back to sleep. Ash mumbles drowsily, "Good night."

"Well, there would be a lots of trainers and Pokemon battles, so you might miss out, Ash. And I am pretty sure that Nurse Joy needs help down in the kitchen, Brock. And, andc" Tracy turns to Misty tries to think of something, "Uh, I am sure there would be plenty of Water Pokemon in the center, right Misty?"

All three shoots up like a missile. In supersonic speed, they are dressed, and ready to go. One by one, they brush their tooth and ran out of the room, the Pokemon follows their respective trainers.

        "Dang, that's fast."

After they eat breakfast, they all have plans for themselves. Brock chooses to stay at the Pokemon Center and ehelp' Nurse Joy. Tracy went to the nearest art store and stock up. While Ash and Misty decides to go to the local park and see if there is any trainers and Pokemon.

It is a beautiful day, the sun is shining bright up the sky.

Ash and Misty walks up the hill, both silence. It was one of those awkward silences.

I felt I have known her all my life, but come to think of it, I've only known her for four or five years. Anyways, I always fell this warm feeling in my heart when I am near her, but at the same time, my heart always pump faster when I am near her. Weird though.

"Hey, are you gonna battle the trainers in the park?"

        "Yeah."

The two stroll into the park, and the park is packed. People and Pokemon play in the park, some battles, some trains, and some trainers show off their Pokemon.

"What a cute Marill!" Misty shrieks, looking at a Marill whose is swimming in the pool next to them.

Ash, seeing the crowd of Pokemon and trainer therefore forgetting about the eMisty problem', decides to get a good workout before the start of the Jotho League.

"Hey Misty, I am going to see what is going on over there," Ash points to a crowd of people.

Misty didn't pay much attention to Ash, "Okay," she had no idea what she just agrees to with the cute Marill distracting her.

Ash, along with Pikachu, whose sitting on Ash's heat, walks across the park. There is a crowd of people, there are boys and girls and few adults.

"Excuse me. Coming through. Ops, sorry about that." Ash pushes his way through the streams of people. Finally, he gets a clear view of what's going on. Pokemon battles.

On one side of the battlefield, there is a young woman in her late teens. She is battling, to Ash's surprise, Gary. Her Ninetails just got knock out by Gary's Arcanine. The girl runs up to her fallen Ninetails and tries to heal it with a potion, then she returns the Ninetails and heads for the direction where Ash and Misty just came from, the Pokemon Center.

"Is there anybody else that wants a piece of me and my Arcanine?" Gary said to the crowd of Pokemon trainers.

Ash and Pikachu can't resist the temptation any more, they both jumps into the battlefield. "I'll challenge you Gary."

Gary looks at Ash, "Well, Ash, I have been training real hard since we battled last time, so you better watch out!"

"I have been training too." Ash grins.

"Your Pikachu looks a lot stronger than last time I saw it, you think it could beat my Arcanine here?" Gary asks while petting Arcanine.

"Only one way to fine out."

"Pipipi pichu!" (That's right!)

Ash bounces into the trainer's box with enormous confidence. I am going to show him what I am made of! Pikachu scurries into the battlefield and stare into Arcanine's eyes. Arcanine grows at the tiny little mouse and can't wait to take a bite out of it.

        "Fire Blast!"

"Agility."

Arcanine opens its blood red mouth and emits a burning red e‘å'. The burning symbol headed straight for Pikachu's direction, but the hasty little mouse takes off at an extreme speed. Pikachu just disappeared, only a yellow spot can be seen disappearing and reappearing across the arena.

People cheers from the sideline. Excitements are flowing through every one of them after seeing an incredible Pikachu.

"Looks like Arcanine can't keep up. Pikachu, Thunder Bolt!"

Pikachu reappears and sparks of electricity takes care of the Arcanine.

"Arcanine, return." Gary holds up the Poke-Ball, "Nice work." Then he turns to Ash, "You beat me again, but you will lose in the Jotho League, to me. See you later." Gary hurries away.

"We'll see who beats who." Ash whispers to himself.

"Hey Ash, that's a superb match." Brock runs up to him.

"Aren't you helping Nurse Joy?" Ash asks.

"Yeah, but she kicked me out of the Pokemon Center." Brock said unhappily.

"Cheer up man, I am sure that the Joys will change their mind about you." Ash said solemnly. I hope.

        Brock smiles and nods.

Ash said to the crowd, "Any challengers?"

Back at the water fountain, Misty is having a great time playing with the friendly little Marill and her Togepi.

"Marill! Marill, where are you?" A singsong voice asks.

Misty looks over her shoulder, and sees a familiar face.

"Sakura?" Misty looks at the girl in front of the Marill.

        "Misty?"

"Cruise, go!"

"Phanpy, I choose you!"

Phanpy stares at the huge blob of rock in front of it while Ash stares at his new opponent, Ritchie. Cruise, a Tyranatar, lifts its boulder like head, and roars. The whole battlefield shakes, but it seems that Phanpy is shaking the most.

The crowd opens their mouth in aw at the sight of the enormous Pokemon that seems to be capable of lifting a twenty-story high building.

Ash checks information on the Pokedex, "Tyranatar, the mountain Pokemon. Tyranatar is extremely protective of its territory and it will fight anything that enters its territory. Tyranatar has a thick armor that almost no attack can penetrate it, for that reason, this Pokemon likes to fight."

"Phanpy, Take Down."

"Take the hit and use Dynamic Punch!"

Phanpy charges at Cruise and made contact, but it didn't even leave a scratch on it. The massive Pokemon pulls back its arm and then throws a punch that could knock down a house.

Ash sees Phanpy has no time to dodge, and he starts to panic. The Dynamic Punch hits Phanpy and sends it sky high. Phanpy regains its balance in mid-air and land on the ground safely.

"Charge up to Phanpy and use Dynamic Punch one more time!" Ritchie yells from the other side of the battlefield.

The rocklike Pokemon picks up speed as it charges at Phanpy, on the other hand, Phanpy is exhausted after being sent flying.

"Phanpy," Ash whispers to his Pokemon, "don't move, use Endure when I tell to, ekay?"

        Phanpy replies by a nod.

Cruise pulls back its arm and lets another Dynamic Punch loose, as the punch is inches away from Phanpy. Ash yells, "NOW!"

Phanpy curls up like a ball and takes the hit. When the punch made contact, the cement ground beneath Phanpy literally cracked. Phanpy uncurls and stretch its legs, Cruise's attack didn't do a thing.

        "Rollout!"

Phanpy once again curls up, but this time, it is attacking. Phanpy rolls in an incredible speed and then collides with Tyranatar, knocking it out in one hit.

The crowd madly cheers as the battle ends. Ritchie looks stunted for a while, but he walks over to Ash and they shake hands.

"So Sakura, are you entering the Jotho League?" Misty asks.

"Yeah, it took me for ever to get my badges. If it weren't for my friend to help me on the way, I would never got all eight badges." Sakura said, looking at her Espeon whose is playing with Marill.

"Who's your friend? Anybody I know?" Misty questions instantly. After all, patience is never one of her strong points.

"Well, I don't know if you guys have met before, but his name-" Sakura is cut off by Misty loud squeal.

"It is a his?! Now I am very interested."

"As I was saying," Sakura turns her head to hide the blush that is raising on her face, then she raised her voice, "his name is Ritchie."

"What?!" Then Misty recovers from the shock, "brownish red hair? Pikachu on his shoulder?"

        "Yes, have you two met?"

"Ritchie is one of Ash's toughest rivals!" Misty said, then she just realize something, "Wait a minute, where is you when Ritchie is getting his eight badge?"

"Uh, we had a little argument back then, but every thing is okay now."

"Aw, Sakura and Ritchie broke up and then went back together, how cute!" Misty said, laughing her head off.

"Shut up! That's not funny. I bet you and Ash argue all the time and then kiss up." Sakura retaliates.

"Not we don't!" Misty said loudly, nearly squashing Togepi in her arms.

"Speaking of Ash," Sakura now decides to embarrass Misty for what she did earlier, "How is him?"

"He's the same old Ash, nothing changed." Misty sighs, resting her head on her hands.

"You know," Sakura said, "Sometimes it is never too late. Take my advice for it. It was nice seeing you again, Misty, I'll email you later. I am going to see where did Ritchie went off to." She gets up and returns her Pokemon and walks away.

Misty gets up and shouts after her, "Thanks for the advice! But," That made Sakura turn around to face Misty, "But maybe you need that piece of advice as much as I need it." Misty ends it with a smile.

"Yeah, I guess," she smiles back.

"Who's next?" Ash asks the crowd, whose are buzzing with excitement. Most of the trainers in the crowd didn't want to battle because they know they will lose.

"Come on, anybody?" Ash asks with a tiny bit of arrogance.

"I'll battle you." A girl steps out from the crowd, to Ash's surprise, she isc

        "Casey?!"

"Hum? Now, where could he be?" Misty asks herself, holding the sleeping Togepi. She opens her backpack and put the sleeping Pokemon inside. She scans the park once and she sees the crowd of people. She made it her way over and sees Ash battling.

        "Pidgeot, Agility!"

        "Meganium, charge Solar Beam!"

Pidgeot stays in midair, waiting for the Solar Beam to be fired. Then it came, an eye blinding greenish white energy beam headed for Pidgeot. Fortunately, Pidgeot dodges the beam without any trouble and finished Pidgeot with Meganium with a measly Wing Attack.

"See you in the Jotho League!"

        "Count on it."

The two friends shake hand and Casey leaves. Ash gives the crowd one of his trademark smiles, full with determination and pride. He looks at his friends, Brock and Misty, both giving him a thumbs up.

Ash bounce happily out of the park, Brock and Misty catches up with him.

"I am proud you, beating 3 of your strongest rival."

"You got that right, let's celebrate!" Ash throws his hands up in the air.

"Pika!" (Par-tay!)

"Sorry guys, no party. Let me remind you guys, Ash is entering the Jotho League tomorrow.

"Party pooper," Ash said.

Brock just scowls at Ash for the remark.

They keep walking silently until they see a fork route. One goes back to the Pokemon Center; the other rocky road leads to the plaza with many restaurants.

"What are eating for lunch? My treat." Ash asks his two ewiser' companions.

"Pizza. You know the toppings."

"And salad for me." Misty said, walking away.

Ash stares at her. Its like he is possessed, then common sense triumphs over, "You wanna come with me?"

"I would love to, but Togepi is asleep, I got to bring her back to Pokemon Center." Misty said, glad that Ash had ask.

"Okay, I'll be back in 30 minutes." Ash said, if I don't get lost.

Ash walks down the street, carefree and cheerful, a rare mixture. Ash looks up the sky and then sigh, thinking of Misty. How can a girl be so complicated?

Pikachu notices Ash's quite abnormal behavior, "Chu pi?" (You okay?)

"Yeah, I guess." Taking his mind off of her and concentrate on not getting lost.

After twenty minutes, Ash exits the Pizza Shop, carrying two boxes of pizza and a serving of salad. He whistles a tune he just made up and continues down the street.

Ash marches pass the wild Pokemon he saw earlier until he sees a pair of new Pokemon, a male Nidoran and a female Nidoran. The male Nidoran softly nozzles the female Nidoran's nose. Ash sighs and continues on walking.

"Chu pi ka pikachu." (You've got it bad.)

        "I know," Ash admits.

They continue walking until they see something. An Espeon.

"Whoa, an Espeon. Pikachu, Thunder Bolt!" Ash quickly said, Pikachu lets loose a Thunder Bolt, but the Espeon just evades it with no difficulty.

"Sorry, I think that's my Espeon, its not wild." A voice ahead of Ash said.

Ash rises up his head and he swears that he is hallucinating. Ten feet in front of him, is a Pikachu on a boy's shoulder. The boy is him. Same looks, same garment, same voice, same heights, same everything.

"Who, who are you?" Ash stutters.

"That's not important, but we got a problem. You tried to catch my Espeon." He turns to look at his Espeon, "Espeon, you are not hurt, right?" The Espeon shakes its head, "Alright then, return!" The boy holds up a Poke-ball and returned his Espeon.

"I am sorry about your Pokemon. But what's your name?" Ash said, still haven't get over the shock.

"I said it's not important. You wanna battle?" The mirror image asks.

He cares about Pokemon, very stubborn, and likes to battle. He's even got my personality! Do I have some twin that I don't know about? "Okay, I except your challenge."

The two trainer looked into each others' eye, in the exact second, both shouts, "Pikachu, I choose you!" The two Pikachu leaps down from their respective trainer and form their battle position. However, the attack they use was different.

        "Thunder!"

        "Quick Attack!"

Ash's Pikachu jumps up the air and collects voltage from the gathering storm clouds, then releases an almighty thunder. The Pikachu on the ground treks beyond speed and the Thunder clearly misses the target. The opposing Pikachu closes in an unbelievable speed, lowering its head to gain maximum momentum. Ash's Pikachu just have enough time to jump aside to dodge the actual attack, but the force of the opposing Pikachu's speed toss Ash's Pikachu to an elm tree and making him faint.

"Pikachu!" Ash screams as the drops the pizza and dashes over to his injured Pikachu. He gently picks up his Pikachu and place it in his arm, "Pik, you okay?"

His Pikachu weakly replies with a "pika" (yeah). The other boy runs over, concerned with Ash's Pikachu's health, "Is your Pikachu going to fine?"

Ash, not looking at the boy, responds with "I think so."

The boy stands up, "Ash, you better train well before the Jotho League because I have a hunch that you are going to face me sooner or later. Good luck and take care."

Ash turns and looks at the spot the boy once stood, and now he his gone. Ash stands up, holding the now better Pikachu in his arms. Ash can't believe another Pikachu beats his Pikachu, even the actual attacks had missed.

Ash holds Pikachu with one arm and use the other to picks up the pizza boxes off the ground. He walked back to the Pokemon Center in utmost silence, thinking the evens that just occurred and remembering what the boy had said to him.

After giving Nurse Joy his Pikachu, Ash heads for his room, delivering the pizza and the salad to his hungry friends. Ash looks to the side of the hallway and sees a wanted poster, and got his second heart attack for the day.

Staring at the poster, Ash's eyes pop out as he sees his own picture on the poster clearly says ewanted'. The name of the wanted person is Satoshic

So, the guy I just battle is Satoshi, and he is wanted. But if we have so much in common, how can he be wanted? And how can he be so strong? He told me to train for the Jotho League, is he also entering? If so, how the heck am I suppose to beat him?

"Ash! There you are! Come on, bring the pizza over!" Brock sticks his head out of their room and disturbs Ash out of his thoughts.

"Coming Brock." Ash answers, walking toward his room before looking at the poster one more time.

To be Continued

How you like it. I know, I know, there is lots of battle scense, but it all leads up to the conclusion, which would be couple chapters, I think.

Anyways, please reivew for my fic, I would really appreciate it.

Oh yeah, I probably would send in the next part a week or so, I am not sure, 'cause I am working on my other fic, 'Dreams may be a reality' (Co-author Aki-Akito).

Thanks.

Until next time.
