"Solar Beam!" The Beedrill had fainted after another Solar Beam from Ash's powerful Bulbasaur. A smile appeared on Ash's face as he shifted his view to the person at top of the stadium. "Wow! Another Solar Beam from Bulbasaur... If Casey doesn't start to take matters into her hands, I think the match already ended." The announcer said, to much of Casey's annoyance. "Meganium, go!" Casey said as she threw her third Poke-Ball. A large plant Pokemon stood softly on the grass, looking at its small opponent. "Show 'em what's a real Solar Beam." "Bulbasaur, fight back with your own Solar Beam." "People, hang on to your chairs, because this is a match you don't wanna miss! These two daring trainer is going fight fire with fire! Or in this case, Solar Beam with Solar Beam!" Two greenish-white beams are released at the same time, consuming the air around it as it travel to the opposite side, clashing with another powerful Solar Beam. With some efforts, Meganium's Solar Beam cut through Bulbasaur's, knocking the small seed Pokemon out. Ash returned Bulbasaur, thanking it for such good work. Looking at the top of the stadium, Ash could see the girl had not move since he last looked. He has to make this round count if he wants to win. Giving that girl a final glance before he resumed his gaze to the electric rodent standing beside him. "Pika?" The lightning Pokemon's cheek spark with electricity, signaling his master that it's ready. Ash gave him a nod; then, the small rodent ran on all four to the stadium. "Pikachu, I choose you!" Pikachu ran on all four and swiftly entered the arena, it red cheeks sparked with electricity. His zigzag tail hung hi at the air, ready for battle. "Thunder Bolt!" Pikachu jumped high into the air, summoning enough strength for one good attack, he gave a Thunder Bolt for his big opponent. "Shield it with Light Screen." A pure light of white formed in front of Meganium, a second later, an undetectable barrier blocked the Thunder Bolt, making it useless. "Meteor Shower Solar Beam!" Meganium drew the intense sunlight for its attack. Pikachu, under the command of Ash, used Agility to pick up its speed, leaving waves of images after his trail. Meganium jumped high up into the air, and then let loose tens of small energy beams, tearing down to the ground. Pikachu ran across from the field, trying to dodge the numerous Solar Beams coming from the sky. Whoosh. A Solar Beam tore through the air and it struck home, sending Pikachu flying for several yards before it bounced on the grass to stop from the attack. The amazed crowd rose to their feet, roaring and cheering for Casey. "Wow! Look at the crowd! Casey's Meganium has just dazzled us with this new attack, Meteor Shower Solar Beam! Not even Ketchum's mighty Pikachu can handle such power." The announcer said to the microphone, much to Ash's announce. "Pikachu, you got to get up, I am counting on you!" Ash encouraged the beaten Pokemon not to give up. Pikachu pushed itself up from the ground, with much effort, Pikachu stood up. "Good job, Pikachu!" Pikachu turned to his master and gave him a thumbs-up. "This is one tough Pikachu, it won't give up!" "Pikachu, use Thunder Bolt!" "Pika!" Pikachu extracted all his strength from his body for one last attack, emitting flashing yellow bolts of electricity, much more powerful then his normal ones. "Meganium, protect yourself with Light Screen!" The yellow flash surge through the still air, pushing against the light barrier that is protecting Meganium. The barrier flickered once under the tremendous pressure, then gave out as the Thunder Bolt broke through. The large Grass Pokemon growled in pain as the Thunder Bolt met it. Meganium got up on all fours and shook off the paralyses from Pikachu's electrical attack. Pikachu seemed to be all tired out after using such powerful attack, it breathed heavily, trying to stay in the battle. "I withdraw Pikachu!" Ash said loudly so that the referees can hear him. The electron scoreboard updates quickly for the crowd to see: Both trainer is down to their last Pokemon. Ash ran into the grass field and picked up the tired Pikachu. He looked up to the person of the roofs for a little encouragement, he whispered to his tired Pikachu, "Thanks pal, good work." Ash returned to his trainer box, deciding what Pokemon his should use next. "Go, Noctowl!" A large brown owl emerged from the thrown Poke-Ball, it hooted as small silvery sparks flashed once, then it turned its head 90 degrees as it took a good look at its opponent. "This long and spectacular 3 on 3 Pokemon battle is coming to an end. Green trainer Ash sends out a shiny Noctowl against Red Trainer Casey's tough Meganium. Rumors has it that a shiny Pokemon is normally stronger than other Pokemon, let's see if it applies Ash' Shiny Noctowl." "One final Meteor Shower Solar Beam!" Tens of small Solar Beams head straight for the large Noctowl. Following Ash's lead, Noctowl dodged the Solar Beams with a variety of aerial maneuvers. "Dive down at it with Take Down!" Before Meganium knows it, the battle was over when Noctowl swoop passed it and delivered enough damage to take down the large Grass Pokemon. "There you have it! Ash Ketchum is the winner of this battle, he will advance to the semi-final!" The announcer shouted over the madly cheering crowd. Ash didn't hear anymore of it, he got his Noctowl back and then released his Pidgeot. Ash quickly climbed on the large Bird Pokemon, with couple flaps of the wing, Pidgeot took off towards the roof. Ash jumped off Pidgeot and returned it back to its Poke-Ball. He looked around frantically, trying to find the girl, but she's no where to be found. "Pikachu pika pika chu?" Pikachu asked curiously to his master, he can see his master is very disappointed and frustrated. Ash turned to his very first Pokemon and smiled. "It's nothing, I just thought I saw someone here." But Pikachu knew that smile, Ash always tried to hide his deepest emotions, even from Pikachu himself. Pikachu just patted Ash gently with his cute paws and jumped into Ash for a hug. "Thanks Pikachu, come on, let's get out of here..." With that, Ash climbed on his Pidgeot and flied off to a distance. Unfortunately for Ash, the person he wanted to find is closer than he thought. Misty walked out of her hiding place and looked into the distance where Ash had took off. She stay in silent as a streak of aqua ran off of her face... "Ash, you're so stupid..." "Yeah! Nice battle!" Tracy slapped the back of Ash's head, making him wince slightly. "Hey, what's the matter, get in the party spirit!" In the back ground, flaring music celebrates Ash's victory. But it was more of an opportunity for Brock and Tracy to throw a party. "Yeah, sure..." Ash said with his head hung low; he heads for the stairs, "Why don't you guys party without me, I am kinda tired after the battle, I think I need a little nap." It seemed for an eternity Ash had stared at the roof of the small room he's sleeping in. Sleep is not welcoming him since the day Misty had left him. When Ash woke from his short slumber, he can hear the music still being as loud as ever. Not in a partying mood, Ash quietly sneaked by madly dancing people and went for a quiet walk. Where could Misty be? "Violet, I told you I am not coming back to Cerulean!" Misty yelled to the phone. "No! Go find yourself another Gym leader!" Misty's face is red from her anger. "I am not coming back and that's final!" She hung up on her sister. Sometimes I wonder if they are my sisters. I am going for a walk, maybe it'll take my mind of the whole situation. Ash sat down in a little café holding his drink. Misty sat down in a little café holding her coffee. They both lean back on their chairs at the same time... the two's head gently collided, "I am sorry." They both said to each other, then they turned their heads to face the person they are hopelessly in love with. "Ash?" "Misty...!" To be Continued good, bad, sucked? tell me your reviews.
