Hi guys, sorry for the major delay, my mom cut off my internet connection, and my computer got a virus, and the whole thing broke down.  Now the computer is fine and I got my internet connection back, it is start typing again.  This is part 12 of A Never Ending Tale, please enjoy.  Or at least, try to enjoy.

“Mom, I am home. How’s Misty?” Ash asks Mrs. K.

“Not good, she haven’t talk to me or eat anything since you left.  Now she’s in your room, crying.  And you are grounded.” Mrs. K. said.

        “For how long?” Ash asks.

“Until Misty feels better.” Mrs. K. said, leaving for the kitchen.

Ash walks slowly up to his room, Pikachu jump off from Ash’s shoulder, he look real depressed.

“Misty, can I come in?” Ash said, in front of his door.

        He got no answer.

Ash just opens the door.  Misty is lying on his bed, looking at the ceiling.  Her eyes are all puffy and red, and she is still in her pajamas.

        “Misty, I am sorry.”

Misty sniffs, “Some times sorry just doesn’t cut it.” Her voice shaking.

“What do you want me to do, than?” Ash said.

“What I want you to do is, tell me why you and Kelly ditch me.  I suppose that Kelly told you that she likes you, and than you like her back, and you guys just want to travel with less people.”

“Kelly likes me?” Ash said, surprised.

“Don’t act stupid.  Where is Kelly?” Misty asks hotly.

“For your information, she is at Azalea town, giving the GS Ball back to Kurt. And I am definitely not stupid!” Ash yells.

“Then why you and Kelly ditched me?”

Ash sighs, takes a deep breath, and start talking. “We lucked out against the Team Rocket Elites, thanks to Jessie, James, and Meowth.  But what about next time? Team Rocket will keep sending men until we are caught, we can’t always be that lucky, and if they catch us, and we are going to be killed. I don’t care about me, nobody do except my mom. But what about you?  I don’t want you to die; you are a special girl, Misty.”

Misty’s mouth opens, but nothing came out.  Couple of minutes later, “How can you say that?  There are a lot more people care about you than just your mom!  There is Brock and Tracy, the friend we made along the journey, and … and me.”  Misty said the last part quietly.

Misty stands up slowly, “Ash, I missed you.” Than she hugs him, she breaks into a cry.  Ash began stroking her hair, “I missed you too.”

Watching from the slightly ajar door, Mrs. K. and Pikachu shed some tears.

Couple of days passed, Ash is freed from grounding.  Misty got a lot happier and starts to force Ash to go to the mall with her.

Ash also became happier, but sooner or later he’ll has to leave Pallet and continue with his journey.  What will happen to Misty and me? Ash thought one day in the mall while Misty is picking out a pair of jeans.

Misty seems to be reading Ash’s mind.  “Don’t worry, Ash, we’ll figure something out.  Just don’t ditch me again.  Just think of this as a much needed vacation for you.”  She holds up a pair of jeans. “Do you think the jeans is okay?”

        “Nah,” They both said unison.

During their ‘vacation’, Ash and Misty spend most of the time either training their Pokemon or hanging out at the mall.  Ash and Misty have gotten a lot closer and they argue lesser.

“Misty, do you remember that for my Christmas present you gave me three wishes?”

        “Yeah?” She said slowly.

“Well, I wish that you will continue to travel with me, is that fine with you?”

“I guess.”  She said happily.  “So you don’t think the TR Elites are coming for us again?”

“Well, me and Pikachu will protect you, right Pikachu?”

“Pika Pika!” (Of Course!)

“We are leaving tomorrow, so you better be ready.”

“You think I could come back here with you after the
Johto League is over?  I like it a lot here; Pallet is always quite and peaceful.”  Misty asks.

“Maybe, why not?” Ash said happily.

“Let’s go Misty, there is a world of adventure out here and I don’t want to miss anything!  I am going to win my badges and take on the Johto League!”  Ash yells excitedly.

“And I am going to be the world’s best water Pokemon trainer!”  Misty said.

“Chu pika pikachu?”  (Anybody seen my ketchup bottles?)

Narrator:  As our heroes continue on their never ending journey, they once again are on the road to Johto.
