Old Kanto league adventures.
Chapter 1: Charmander
Adam Oak son of Michael Oak had turned 11 yesterday. His dad was the famous 
Prof. Oak in Kanto. Today he had to be in his dad’s lab by 10:30 AM. When his 
alarm buzzed at 9:30 he couldn’t help but think about his crush that was going 
to be coming with him: Allie Giancarlo. Both of them had been friends since they 
were about 4. When Adam was almost 10 he started to care more for her and had a 
secret crush on her. Adam then dressed, and went downstairs. “ Hmmm…Mom that 
smells great!” He proclaimed as Adam came into the kitchen.” These Eggs will be 
done soon. Oh! Before I forget I packed your backpack with plenty of things for 
your journey Adam.” His mom replied. * Squeak Squeak * the chair went as Adam 
pulled it out. Seeing the glass Adam took a deep drink of the milk that his mom 
put out. “ Eggs are done! “ Adam’s Mom exclaimed. ”What Style Mom” Adam asked, “ 
Sunnyside.” Was the reply. “ Ooooo My favorite!” Adam then said as he served 
himself. When Adam finished his breakfast he grabbed his backpack, kissed his 
Mom on the cheek, said goodbye and walked off to his dad’s lab. When Adam 
entered Oak’s Aide Peter greeted him saying” Hello there Adam! Put your backpack 
over on that chair and follow me!” As they were walking to the back part of he 
Lab Peter said “ Allie has already came and got her Pokemon.” “ Allie’s here!” 
was Adam’s quick and shocked reply. “ Oh yes, yes Allie’s here and has already 
gotten Nidoran Male and Female and a Sandshrew.” Peter replied. “ Oh…what about 
my Pokemon???” Adam replied. “ Oak will show you your Pokemon in the back! 
Sheesh!” Peter quickly answered. Peter opened the back door out into the Pokemon 
Habitat. Oak was showing Allie the different personalities of her Pokemon. “ 
Professor Adam’s here!” Peter called.” Well bring him here Peter!!” Oak snapped. 
“ Geez you didn’t have to snap.” Peter mumbled as he walked Adam towards Oak. “ 
Ahhh, Adam your finally here!” Oak said.” Sorry dad you said 10:30…it’s only 
10:00.” Adam replied. “ I know, I know Adam sorry I should’ve said 10:00. Oh 
here are your Pokemon!!” Oak said. After Oak said that he showed Adam five 
Pokeballs.” Ummm, I’ll guess I’ll put out…this one first!!” Adam Exclaimed.” 
“Here goes.” He said as he throwed the Pokeball. Allie, Oak and Adam all held 
their breath. (Peter went back into the lab.) The Pokeball opened and it was a 
Charmander!!! “ Charmander Char!!” < Yay! I’m out!! > It exclaimed as it came 
out of the Pokeball. “ Charrr? “ < Did you bring me out??? > The Charmander 
asked as he looked at Adam. “ Yes Charmander I let you out. “ Adam replied. 
Charmander and Allie giggled as Adam pretended to burn his hand on Charmander” 
Tail. “ Ok let’s try another one.” Adam said as he reached for another Pokeball.
