"Baby Don't Cry, I hope Ya Got Ya Head up, Even when the road is hard, never give up." The next morning I woke up to snow covering part of my sleeping bag and my Houndoom was almost buried in the snow. I brushed the snow off with my gloves and looked around. The sky was blue, with a few clouds, and the sun up. I checked the temperature on my pokegear 41 degrees. It was actually warm for December. I laid back down and waited for anyone to wake up. Finally, Brock shifted in his sleeping bag and got up. He didn't realize I was awake as he started petting Houndoom, who just laid there. "Hey Houndoom." Brock whispered. Trying not to wake anyone up, he got a fire ready by asking Houndoom to light it, then he started cooking eggs and bacon. I sat up slowly and Brock looked up. "Oh, good morning. Did I wake you up?" He asked, flipping the eggs. I shook my head. "No. Uh, Brock, I'm sorry about last night." I apologized. He looked confused at first then caught on. "Oh, don't be sorry. It's alright." He said, not sounding as though he meant it that much. I sighed and looked down at my Houndoom who had laid back down. "'Morning." Ash said, stretching. Then he opened his eyes and sat up. He too noticed the newly fallen snow. "Hey." I said, warming my hands up over the fire. Ash leaned over and watched Brock cook. Pikachu started eating its pokemon food happily. Misty was the last to wake up, about ten minutes later. Then we all ate and began walking towards Mahogany Town. We traveled without seeing any trainers the whole day and when we came to the top of a snowy hill, we looked down at a small town covered in snow. "Is that Mahongany Town?" I asked, tilting my head. Brock checked his map and shrugged. "It should be. If not we can still go to Citrine Falls by the pokemon center." He stated, frowning. I noticed he seemed to be in a bad mood today, and I wondered if it was all my fault. Ash was getting something out of his backpack. "I have two of these inflatable tubes so we can slide down in this." He said, smiling. Our mouths dropped in surprise. "Cool." Misty said, walking over to Ash. He threw two inflatable tubes over to us. "Get a partner and we'll have to blow these up." He said, grabbing a pump out of his backpack and started to pump up the tubes. Misty wrote down our names of a piece of paper, ripped it up so it was in four pieces, grabbed Ash's hat, put the pieces in the hat and shook it up. Then she closed her eyes and picked a paper. She read it, calling, "Brock, you're going down the hill with..." She grabbed another paper. "Eden. So I guess that means I have to go with Ash." She turned back to Ash, and I tried not to look at Brock, still feeling bad about the previous night. "Okay, Brock, Eden, here's yours." He handed me a tube and Brock sat down on it. I sat down right in front of him and told Houndoom to meet me down at the bottom of the hill. Then Ash and Misty climbed into theirs and we kicked off, flying down the slope. As we sped down the hill, Houndoom slid down it, passing us. We laughed as Ash's tube crashed into a swinub, which sent his tube flying. The tube went upside down and Ash did a face plant as Misty still hung on. We all laughed so hard as Ash sat down and slid down the hill after us. Laughing so hard made Brock and I forget about where we were going and we almost crashed into another swinub. We swerved out of the way as Pikachu, who was also thrown out of the tube, raced down and jumped into my arms so Misty or Ash wouldn't run over it. We slowed down and finally stopped when we reached the bottom of the hill, still laughing. I gave Ash a round of applause as he stopped sliding and he tried to keep a straight face but burst out laughing. Brock and Misty clapped with me and we cheered Ash on his wonderful fall down the hill. "That was wonderful, Ash!" I shouted, still clapping. He just laughed, stood up and let the air out of the tubes. Then he packed it all into his backpack and led us across a flat area covered in snow. I couldn't help but laugh as Ash wiped the snow off him.
