Here goes chapter 5. I saw the third Pokémon Movie and it rocked. I also got my reverse holo Entei card. It looks cool. I am getting too lazy to typing this story but I have been writing a whole lot. Chapter 5 Time to do a little training ________________________________________________________________________________ Level 23 Ivysaur Level 18 Azulmarril Level 12 Eevee ________________________________________________________________________________ I woke up early again immediatly remembering the events of last night. I had picked up Eevee late that day when the grooming center was about to close. That was me, forgetful as an old person. I remembered to plan to train tommorow. I woke up early the next morning. Don't ask me how I did, I was just used to it even when school wasn't around. I let all my Pokémon out of their Pokéballs and got ready for the walk. After changing and brushing my teeth, I headed out towards the forest. "Vee vee," Eevee shouted as I got out of the Pokémon Center. He rubbed against my leg like a kitten 'Veeed' at me a few more times. I couldn't help but smile at the sight of this this. "Ivysaur saur (He wants to be groomed again)," Ivysaur translated. He groaned at the similiar request from the newest member of the Pokémon team. "Marril (Spoiled little guy)," Azulmarril mumbled and was elbowed by Ivysaur. "I hope this doesn't become a habit," I complained paying the groomer. I took all my Pokémon to be groomed as a special treat. The problem now was that I was low on cash. Grooming cost a lot of money. "Vee vee vee (You won't regret it)," Eevee said to me. We took the stairs up avodiding the Pokémon trainers. "Ivy (hungry)," I heard Ivysaur complain. "Look, an apple," I said pointing upwards. We were back in the forest. I sat in front of the lake leaning against a tree. The guard house looked like a brown dot from here. It was an about 20 minutes walking time. I unpacked two of my wrapped up sandwhiches and started to eat. Ivysaur ate apples from the tree. Azulmarril jumped in the water for fish. Eevee got berries from the trees. "We should do this more often," I said leaning back more. I opened up a bottle of water and took a large sip. "Ivff(sureff)," Ivysaur's voice came out muffled with a full mouth. *Splat!* A fish fell about a foot a front of me. *Splat!* Another fish flew fro mthe lake and on to the shore. The fish were grey in color and looked like Sardines. Azulmarril wallowed dragging a pile of fish. He grabbed one by the tail and swallowed it whole. I made a disgusted face at him. "Marril (It's good)," Azulmarril insisted. He came up close and swallowed one of his Minnows slowly. I knew he was trying to disgust me. I turned away sighing. I felt him tap my shoulder trying to make me look again. "Stop it Azulmarril," I said refusing to see him shove raw fish down his throught. I felt another tap on my shoulder. I ignored another tap assuming it was Azulmarril again. "Haven't u figure it out that's its not your Pokémon yet?" A voice asked. I quickly runed around to find an old friend looking back at me with an amused expression. Her name is Jennifer. Jennifer is a year older than me and a lot more mature. She is Chinese like me and about an inch shorter than me (who is a little over 5 feet tall). She had on a pink t-shirt, white shorts, with her small Hellow kitty see-through backpack. Her long hair was tied up in a white scrunchie. "Whoa, what are you doing here?" I asked completely surprised. "Catching Pokémon," she answered. I groaned at her answer. Azulmarril was laughing somewhere behind her. "What Pokémon do you have?" I asked. "A Chansey and 3 Magnemites," Jennifer answered. "Whats with all the Magnemites?" I asked. "Because they're cute," said Jennifer with a smile. I sighed and put my hand on my forehead. I didn't see how Magnemite was cute but it was apparently for her. Then again, I wasn't the best one to go to when you want to know if something was cute or not. "What?" she asked. I sighed again. "Let's train with a battle," I suggested. "Don't change the subject," Jennifer mock threatened. "So cute.......," I said mocking the way she said it. "So I can't Magnemites, is that it?" Jennifer yelled at me hitting me on the arm rapidly. I can tell she wasn't really angry so I laughed like an idiot throughout the 'attack'. "Now can we battle?" I asked hopefully. "Okay but I know I'll lose...," Jennifer sighed. "How do you know that?" I asked. "You probably get to train everyday but my mom only let me train on weekends," said Jennifer. "Magnemite has type advantage over all my Pokémon. Come'on, I'll use my lowest leveled ones," I said. "Oh, fine," Jennifer gave in. We backed away from each other until we were about 100 feet apart. "I guess you know who I'll choose," said Jennifer throwing a Pokéball. A Magnemite appeared. "Eevee, I choose you," I said throwing him out. "You just had to use Ash's phrase," Jennifer teased. "Who cares about Ash? He uses a Pikachu, super low defense skills," I retorted. While we were talking, I failed to notice the quickly darkening sky. A thunder storm was approaching and was gonna do some serious damage. "Use your Double Edge," I said going for maximum damage. "Try Thundershock," said Jennifer. Eevee ran forward with determination. Magnemite charged up and blasted a small bolt of electricity at Eevee. The blast hit Eevee paralyzing his legs for a breif second but he was going too fast to stop. Eevee's momentum carried him straight in to Magnemite's eye. Both Pokémon reeled back from the painful experience. "Double Edge again,"I said. "Try another Thundershock," said Jennifer. Eevee was smarter this time. He stood his ground taking the Thundershock and than attacked. Eevee rammed in to Magnemite with all his strength. Magnemite flew back and landed hard on the ground. It didn't get back up. Eevee wobbled dizzily on his feet. It was a double K.O. match. We both called back our Pokémon. "Magnemite," said Jennifer sending out another one. "Azulmarril," I said. Azulmarril leapt forward obediantly. A sudden crash of thunder made me jump and looked up. "It's gonna raining!" Jennifer complained. The match was automaticly over at the sight of dangerous weather. "Come'on, let's go find some shelter," I said. We both ran towards the city. But it was too late, the rain came down soaking everyone. We scrambbled under a big tree. The tree provided surprisingly good cover but the occasional raindrop kept us wet. "We're gonna be stuck here forever," I complained. I let my Pokémon out of their Pokéballs. Ivysaur and Azulmarril went out to play in the water. Eevee rested on my lap as I sprayed Super Portion on him. Jennifer also had her Pokémon out. She and Chansey were polishing the Magnemites with a wet cloth. A crash of lightning brought Ivysaur and Azulmarril running back under the tree. I laughed at their surprised expressions. "I thought it never rained here, it almost never rained on the show," I complained. "Almost," Jennifer answered. A sudden bolt of lightning hit somewhere nearby making me jump. A tree about a few hundred yards away caught on fire. "Oh crap!" I screamed. Another bolt of lightning hit somewhere nearby. "The Magnemite, they're magneticly attracting the thunder," shouted Jennifer over the noise. "Run for it!" I shouted. We both ran towards the brown spot known as the guard house. It looked like a brown blob because of the rain getting in my eyes. Chansey carried a hurt Magnemite. Ivysaur carried Eevee in his arms. The other Magnemites floated ahead. I heard someone scream. It took me a second to recognize it was Jennifer. I didn't have time to scream but I was more scared than ever before. Chansey tripped the injured Magnemite flying out of her arms and in to the air. A loud roar of lightning made me cover me ears. A bolt of lightning hit somewhere nearby hitting something close by in front of me. The explosion threw me painfully off me feet. I threw out a string of curses as I pulled my self on to me feet shaking. "What....what happend?" I managed to get out. "The Magnemites.....got hit," Jennifer answered with worry in her voice. She pointed to where the Magnemites were. A cloud of smoke blocked my vision. "MAGNETON!" declared a mechanical voice. "Whoa, it evolved," I said. "Alright!" Jennifer exclaimed. She called the Pokémon back in to its Pokéball. We ran back to the guard house safely. Nobody was hurt. "Whoa, are you kids okay?" the guard asked as we burst threw the door dripping wet. We dragged our bodies on to the catch and collapsed on to it. The guard both of us a blanket to keep us warm. I wrapped it around me shivering. I didn't know how long we stayed there but I fell asleep of pure boredom of waiting out the storm. *SPLASH!* I woke up once again sputtering and coughing as others laughed at me. Even the guard had a hand over his mouth trying not to laugh. He was failing badly. "You just had to do that," I said glaring at Azulmarril. Azulmarril just kept on laughing. I groaned and wiped the water off my face. "I'm gonna go to the gym now, you coming?" Jennifer asked. "No, more training," I said. "Ok, I"m gonna get that badge before you," said Jennifer heading towards the door. "Easy for you to say with a Magneton resistance to Normal types," I said getting a mocking smile from her as she walked out. That afternoon, I battle my way through three trainers on the route between Llex Forest and Goldenrod City. My Pokémon and I were pretty worn out and ready to call it a day. "Vee Vee (come, follow me)!" Eevee instructed suddenly. "But it's getting dark," I said. Eevee took off towards the forest. I reluctantly followed him in to the Llex Forest. We went past the guards house and to a tree stump. I saw some of the burned leafless trees from the lightning. The fire must have been put out by the rain when the thunder stopped. I watched as Eevee slowly approached the tree stump and hopped on to it. A ray of blue-ish light shine upon his face elumination his body. The light came directly from the moon. I stood paralyzyed with amazement. Eevee than gave off a white glow that made it hard to see him. His glowing body enlarged startling. I backed away involuntarily. When the glowing stopped, I saw a dark shape with golden rings on his body. "Umbrean Umbreon (I told you that you would not regret it)," Umbreon replied. I ran up to him and gave him a hug forgetting all the grooming bills. That is part 5. Yay, I got it done. So tell me what you think about it. You should know my e-mail address by now, I written it so many times that even I'm sick of it.
