Disclaimer: Pokémon is not mine and never will be.....or will it, MWAHAHAHAHA! Warning: Contains the word 'hell', nothing serious. Chapter 14 Give Back Marril! I took the rest of the week to get to know Marril after school. I trained him and his strength went up faster then Ivysaur when he was a Bulbasaur. One thing I found out was that Marril was a late sleeper. When my alarm clock went off on Tuesday morning, Marril angrily sprayed water everywhere soaking Ivysaur and I wet. Ever since then, Marril slept in his Pokéball. He didn't mind though. Marril still remained the prankster pulling tricks on Debbie when he was bored. He rarely did anything to me or Ivysaur though. I thought that this was a nice sign of respect. On Saturday afternoon, I decided to risk training in the forest. Both Marril and Ivysaur defeated Pokémon in the field easily. They barely gain any experience battling there. I spotted a guy running around as I entered the forest. He was a medium built American guy with the famialiar blond hair. He had on a green jacket and black jeans. He gripped a Pokéball in his hands so I could tell he was a trainer. "Hey, you up for a battle?" I asked the boy. "Ok, how many Pokémon do you have?" he answered. "Two!" I exclaimed. "Ok, a two on two battle! Get'em Pidgeotto!" said the boy throwing a Pokéball. His Pidgeotto popped out. I looked at the two Pokémon I had in my pocket. I decided Marril would do better against Pidgeotto. "Go Marril!" I shouted throwing the Pokéball. "Now Pidgeotto!" shouted the boy. His swift Pidgeotto qucikly dived forward and skillfully captured Marril's Pokéball in his talons right before it would have opened. "Hey, whats the big deal? Give me back Marril!" I yelled angrily. "On secind thought, I have to go now!" said the boy opening his jacket showing me the blood-red 'R' on his black shirt. He was part of Team Rocket! He stuffed Marril's Pokéball in his pocket in a pocket on the inside of his jacket and took off with his Pidgeotto flying over his head. I mentally kicked myself for not noting the dark features on Pidgeotto. I ran after the Rocket but was lagging behind because of my unathleticness. He ran through the forest with me a few feet back. I was losing ground but tried my best anyway. We went through many sharp turns through bushes and around trees. Soon, I was forgetting the way I came from. The Rocket probably knew that too. He must have been trying to lose me. The Rocket headed for headquarters when he thought I was too far behind to catch up. That was a mistake on his part. I followed him and hid in the bushes when the base came in to view. He ran past the guards and scaned his I.D. card through a scanner card to open the door. He went in. I sneaked around until I was close enough to the guards at the door to know what they were saying. The two guards, one on each side of the door, dressed in the standard black Team Rocket uniforms. "Pretty boring job, eh Ken?" asked the guard on the right side of the door. "This was not what expected when I first joined, Joe," said the other guard. "What Pokémon do you have?" Joe asked obviously trying to make converstation. "I caught Onix myself and the boss just gave me a Grimer today," answered Ken. "So you're a newbie Rocket too? I got my Wartortle and I just got Drowzee today," replied Joe. I quickly thought of a plan calling out Ivysaur silently. I whispered the plan to Ivysaur and he nodded smiling. I started the plan by throwing the rock Joe. The rock hit the Rocket right in the head. His face went red with anger. "Ow! What the hell that?" screamed Joe furiously. His partner laughed and pointed at Joe's pained expression. "Must be one of those cur-sed Mankeys," grumbled Joe. "What are you waiting for? Grab a Pokéball and go catch it," Ken said between fits of laughter. "I will and I'll be sure to give it a good beating before I catch it too," Joe said running past me off alone like I planned. I crawled through the bushes after him making sure to make lots of noise so Joe that a Mankey was in the bushes. He followed the noise he heard tracking me. I lead him away until he was out of Ken's sight. Ivysaur leaped out of the bushes at the surprised Rocket spraying sleep powder. "What the.........," Joe didn't get to finish his sentence as he fell asleep snoring loudly while sucking his thumb. I searched him thoroughly and found his I.D. in his back pocket of his pants. I ran past Ken and scanned my I.D. on the scanner and went trough the door in to Team Rcoket Headquarters just like the guy who stole Marril did. Ken did not notice that I was not a Rocket member at all. I looked around and 3 long hallways with many doors. The exit was behind me. There was 2 doors labeled 'A' and 'B'. The 'B' door were double doors with with fancy golden frames and knobs. "Ivy (Which one)?" Ivysaur asked me. I looked at the hallways and back at the doors. "The 'B' door probably leads to the boss's place so let's try 'A' door!" I guessed hastily. We ran through the 'A' door passing many open doors. I could see Team Rocket scientists doing experimentations on various Pokémon. Most of them were poison type or common though. I couldn't worry about that now or Marril could end up being the next experiment. A vision of Marril being dark with glowing red eyes sent shivers down my back. I ran past all these doors and to the last double doors at the end of the hall. This white door led to a room with no windows and I reasoned to myself that there must have been where Team Rocket stored stolen Pokémon. There guard was a guard stationed at the door. I showed him my stolen I.D. covering up the picture. "New guy, eh? You're not authorize here, move along junior," said the guard. "But um.....," I tried to make up an excuse. "Move along, little kid," said the guard more seriously this time. "But I um.....got stolen Pokémon," I lied. "Show me," said the guard extending a hand out. "Here," I showed him Ivysaur's empty Pokéball covering the empty top with my hands. The suspicious Rocket grabbed the Pokéball and examined it closely. He glared at me and drew his Pokéballs. He threw Ivysaur's Pokéball at me and I caught it clumsily. His own Pokéball opened up to show Dark Machoke. I stuffed my Pokéball in to my pocket and got ready for battle. "Stay away from Machoke and Razor Leaf it!" I instructed. "Beat it up with your spinning seismic toss!" said the Rocket. "Saur!" shouted Ivysaur launching shap leaves at the Machoke. Machoke blocked his face with his hands receiving minor cuts. "MACHOKE!" the angry darkened Machoke charged forward grabbing Ivysaur by his front two legs and started spinning fast. Machoke let go and Ivysaur hit the wall extremely hard. "Ivysaur, are you ok?" I asked knealing beside him and helping him up. "Ivysaur (I can't take another hit like that again)," grumbled Ivysaur. "Use the sleep powder and then leech seed to regain your strength," I whispered. Machoke went in and separated us with a powerful karate chop. He barely missed us. Ivysaur sprayed Machoke in the face with sleep powder. Machoke swayed back like he had been hit and stumpled clumsily backwards until he fell asleep. Machoke landed flat on his face. Ivysaur shot a seed that grew vines around Machoke. It sucked the energy from him and gave it to Ivysaur. "Dang it, I'm outta Pokémon," the Rocket cursed before calling his Dark Machoke back in to his Pokéball. He did the only thing he could think of. He charged straight at me aiming his fist at my face. His punch was clumsy and his punch landed in my shoulder but it still knocked me down. Ivysaur sprayed sleep powder knocking the Rocket out. "Deserve it," I grumbled. I stole the Rocket's I.D. and place it on the scanner. the door opened and I stepped in. I stumbled in with Ivysaur closing thee door behind me. I looked up and saw rows of huge cabinets. they were about the size of those cabinets in those bookroom of mansions. Instead of books, they were line up with different Pokéballs. Some were see-through and some were solid (like the TV show's). One of the cabinets seemed incomplete with many empty Pokéball holders. I took a closer look and saw that the last Pokéball was see-through which contained my Marril. I could tell becuase he shouted excitedly when he saw me. I quickly opened the Pokéball letting Marril out. "Marril Marril!" Marril chirped happily as I hugged him. the alarm suddenly sounded. Thye knew an intruder was here! I ran towards the other door at the end of the room. Marril and Ivysaur followed closely. I closed the door and realized that the rooms was pitch dark. "Reeeeeee!" A lone loud high pitched voice screamed. Two glowing purple eyes appeared. They seem to glare at me evily. I saw a small figure chained to the floor. Ivysaur and Marril cried out as they were suddenly lifted off the ground by some unseen force. I knew it was some type of psychic type attack. "Who are you.....?" I asked frightened. The figure, whatever it was, didn't answer. Instead, it raised a hand straight at me. I figured out at that moment that it was not a Mew or Mewtwo. "Ivy (Watch out)!" "Marril (Watchout)!" both Pokémon warned me at the exact same time. A blast of psychic energy was thrown towards me at a blinding speed. I could not dodge something that fast. The only thing I could do was stare frozen by fear. Only then did I recognize the Pokémon. I knew what it was. It was a... End story! Sorry, this is officially to be continued story that we all know and hate. MWAHAHAHA! I feel so evil. Please check out chapter 15 for the conclusion or the next part....! MWAHAHAHAHA! E-mail me at Luckvillag@aol.com. Note: I felt like blabbing at the end of this fic, sorry. Note: I have moved to a new school and found myself, as usual, a head shorter than everyone else. I am currently getting picked on by this guy and he's trying to get his friends to do it too. They make fun of me and stuff like that. I know I can't beat him in a fight. I don't fight and I don't know how. I know, how embarassing. So I have a favor to ask you guys. Don't pick on the shy little guy that keep to themselves a lot. Make friends or just leave them alone. For all you guys know, that short shy guy could be me, Bulbasaur. Three quotes today, yay!
