Ok, it took me a long time to write chapters.  I got about 9 chapters done but got too lazy 
to type them in my computer.  Oh well, here goes chapter 7!  E-mail or Instant Messgae me at

						Chapter 7
					     The New Mascot

	The highschool ended totally destroyed but the Ninth Grade Center only took minor damage.
It would be repaired in a 2 weeks or so.  Team Rocket found a new base and couldn't be found.  
No one had any idea where they went.
	The school decided to have thier very own Pokémon Team.  Thier would be competitions 
against other schools for trophies and badges.  I found out on the morning after the Team Rocket 
by mail.
	"Hey, look at this," I said looking at the pile of mail my mom just got.  I found one 
with my name on it.  I opened it and read about the school Pokémon Team.  They wanted me to help 
them capture a school mascot.  I decided to go with Bulbasaur.
	I raced to the woods across the street across my subdivision, Shadow Reef.  That was 
where everyone was planning to catch a Pokémon.  Soon, many trainers arrived, including Stealth 
and Mike.  
	The last person that arrived was our new coach, Coach Caldron.  He had no Pokémon yet 
and was gonna train the mascot that we caught.  Caldron is an American in his mid 20's.  He had 
short blond hair and was about 5 and half feet tall.  He had no mostache.  He was no a very 
playful person and had a mild sense of humor.  The good thing was he wasn't the kind of coach 
that called you a girl if you mess up.  His attitude always seem to be positive and he 
encouraged everyone.
	"Alright team, let's go," said Coach.  We split up in to 2 separate groups to cover more 
ground.  I was with Stealth, Mike, and Evan.  
	"Hey, you hear something?" asked Stealth after a few minutes.
	"No," said Mike.  No one heard anything at all.  Suddenly, the bush started shaking and a
wild Vulpix shot out.  It gave a flame thrower attack at the air in front of us to warn us to 
keep away.
	"That would be a nice mascot," said Evan.
	"I guess," said Mike.
	"I have the advantage.  I guess I'll go first.  Go Cubone!"shouted Stealth throwing the 
pokéball letting Cubone out.  "Bonemerang and than Bone Club," instructed Stealth.
	"Cubone bone CUBONE!" shouted Cubone throwing his bone club hitting Vulpix square on the 
head.
	"VUL!!!!!!"screamed the angered Vulpix lauching a Fire Spin attack.  The violent flames 
surrounded Cubone.  It would give Cubone quite a thrashing if Stealth didn't do anything.
	"High Jump Kick without the kick!" shouted Stealth over the burning flames.  Cubone 
leapt in to the air and was about to throw a kick but stopped himself.  Cubone could not jump 
over Vulpix's tornado of fire, so he jumped right through a wall receiving minor injuries.  
Cubone would have gain serious damage if he tried to go throught the lower wall of Vulpix's fire 
tornado.  The flaming twister disappeared after a minute revealing an exhausted Vulpix.  
Cubone delivered a final Bone Club attack to weaken it.
	"It put up quite a fight," I said picking up the injured fire fox.  We met up the the 
other group of trainers at the edge of the forest.  They were carrying a metapod that they 
captured.
	"Great job but I was aiming for better Pokémon........,"said Caldron.
	"Reeee............,"a tiny voice interrupted Coach Caldron.  I put the Vulpix on the 
ground.  Everyone suddenly ran for the noise.  I was hoping it would be a strong rare Pokémon.  
In a clearing in the forest sat a baby Kanghaskhan.  It appeared to be scared and hurt.  A girl 
I didn't know with a Pikachu in her arms started to run to the baby Pokémon.
	"Wait, get back here!"warned the Coach.  He must have researched about Pokémon because 
he knew it would be dangerous.  The mother was always near the baby when it came to Kanghaskhan. 
The girl didn't listen or she didn't hear the Coach becuase she didn't stop.
	"KANGAS!" shouted an angry voice stopping the girl in her tracks.  A large Kanghashan 
appeared and easily swatted the girl away.  She wasn't hurt much but she made the Kanghaskhan 
furious.  Kanghaskhan put her baby in her pouch and powered up with rage.  Everyone called out 
thier Pokémon.  Kanghaskhan was out numbered but she was too blinded by anger to see that.
	Various attacks were called out.  Bulbasaur used vine whip tying up Kanghaskhan's main 
weapons, her fists.  Two Pikachu went blurring blast me lauching a thunder bolt attack.  
Kanghaskhan quickly raised his fist, making Bulbasaur release her, and brought them down on the 
Pikachu. One Pikachu was hit but the other one was lucky.  It launched a thundershock attack that
didn't even faze Kanghaskhan.  Pikachu was rewarded with a mega punch in the face.
	Mike's Dratini shot a powerful hyper beam hitting Kanghaskhan on the chest near the baby.  
Stealth's Cubone had used Focus Energy to power his attack up and used a swift Low Kick attack.  
Kanghaskhan was even angrier and used dizzy punch to knock both Pokémon away.  Some one's 
Geodude had used this time to sneak behind Kanghaskhan and latch on to her head.  Suddenly, 
thier was a powerful explosion.  It had used its Explosion attack!
	I got down close to the ground to get away from the thick smoke.  But it didn't work 
well as I found it hard to breath and my eyes being stung.  It hurt a lot.  The smoke cleared 
after a long minute.  Bulbasaur sat next to me with his eyes closed.
	"Bulbasaur bulb (Is it over yet)?"asked Bulbasaur. 
	"Yeah, everyone up!" I shouted.  Everyone got up after that.  When the rest of the smoke 
cleared, a Kanghaskhan appeared on its side along with a unconsious Geodude on her back.  
	"Now we'll capture her!" said the Coach throwing the Pokéball.  Kanghaskhan was sucked 
inside with no sign of a struggle. It was captured. "Yes! We got her!" cheered the Coach.  
Geodude happend to belong to a kid named Adam.  He was not kid from my school but came along to 
help.  He was the Coach's son.
	We decided to go home after that because thier was nothing else to do.  Everyone went on 
thier separate ways.  I decided to let Bulbasaur walk with me.Thier was no one else to talk to 
so he could keep me company.  I was thinking of ways that I could raise Bulbasaur better when 
suddenly *WHAM!*, I walked in to a tree.  I thought I heard somebody or something whisper "Soki!" 
as I hit the tree.
	We continued our walk home.  "You know that tree was a..........nevermind,"said 
Bulbasaur.  He laughed. I knew he was keeping something from me.
	"Come'on, tell me," I pleaded.  But I got nothing out of him on the rest of the way home.
	
	End of Chapter 7!  Ok, wild Pokémon are finially gonna get captured.  I want everyone to 
know that I'm doing rarities according to the card game.  I'll try not to put 2 wild rare
